On top of that, I have unique hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of species gained during my time at the San Francisco Zoo. My mission is simple: to provide reliable, compassionate, and expert care so your pets feel secure and happy while you are away. I currently work from home part-time doing administrative work for a leading veterinary company as I transition from in clinic work to pet-care full time. I'm available most of the day to assist with your pet's care. Whether in your home or my home, your pet will be cared for like they're my own. I will give each pet the chance to get to know me, as well to get to know them, so our bond will become as close as it is with you.

About: I've grown up with multiple dogs and am now happy to have my own little corgi-terrier named Karl and a black cat named Billie. I'm my friend's go-to pet sitter and have been loving getting to know the other dogs in the neighborhood. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, large dogs, and reactive dogs. I am available in the evenings on week days and anytime weekends. Please do not book recurring walks if they need to occur earlier on weekdays. I also work as a para educator, so my schedule is flexible, but I will be unavailable for up to 9 hours at a time. Pet care and safety is very important to me. My own dog has very high needs and requires a lot of attention and care, especially on walks, so I completely understand all the peculiar needs of all pets and their individual personalities.

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

About: Love dogs, cats, and pretty much most animals in between! Since 2023, my entire life has been successfully hijacked by my own dog. I am highly trained in the art of fetching tennis and sharing half my snacks. I love clocking in serious miles on long walks, and my hands feel empty without a leash in them. Let me join your pet's entourage—they'll get a dedicated walking buddy, and you'll get total peace of mind. By day, I handle my human responsibilities, but when the evening hits and the weekend arrives, I am fully at your pet's service! My availability is locked in for weekdays after 5:00 PM and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. This means I am the perfect candidate for that post-work dinner rush or when you're out to Sur for that last minute camping trip. Because my weekend schedule is wide open, your pet gets my absolute, undivided attention. Since I’m coming to your territory, my safety protocols are built around total reliability, trust, and street-smarts. During drop-ins, I follow your exact instructions to the letter—matching your feeding routines, house rules, and weird specific habits perfectly. I am a chronic over-communicator, so you won't have to worry about me disappearing.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs my whole life within my family but I’ve also taken my own path on raising puppies from the liter of my own dogs in my parents home having babies. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve taken in two dogs from the streets and have been raising them since one month old. I work for myself so any time I’d need to accommodate for your pups needs I can do that ! I just want to be of convenience for the dog parents because I know how hard it can be managing your life with your fur baby. I have crates if preferred to be used but I also have my own babies that I can bring over to spend time with your fur baby so they don’t feel alone or left out. My babies love other dogs, they are so playful and fun !

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.
