About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. The pet parents I work with know their pets best, and I take their guidance and wishes very seriously. When I'm housesitting, I treat clients' homes with even more respect than I treat my own.

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: I adore dogs. I can’t have my own so I cherish every moment! I’ve done a good amount of dog sitting/ walking both small and large dogs. We have a great time, I love playing with them, taking them out as many times a day as they like, and having sleepovers to keep them company. I have a pretty flexible schedule so I am often able to make lots of different times/days work. Weekends are totally fine for me as well. In my house I only have space for a small dog. I have two cats. I am able to take them on as many walks as they need a day, play with them, cuddle them, make sure they’re comfy and having a good time. At a clients house it is similar except any size dog or cat is good for me!

About: I'll give your pets the attention and care they need, through tug-of-war, cuddles or even just my presence at home. I'm also happy to take your dog on adventures if you're comfortable with it :) I'm currently looking for work, so I can be present as much as your pets need me to be. I only need to leave the house to go to the gym or sports practice. As an animal lover, I'll pay close attention to how your animal is feeling, and make sure they get the attention and care they need. I'll also take care of your home and leave it clean and well taken care of per your instructions.

In addition to dogs, cats, and birds, I've been a parent to rabbits, hamsters, livestock and reptiles. I'm also a mother of two over the age of 35. I'm the go-to person for the care of their dogs, as well for other members of my family's pets when they are in town. I have a 13 year old Corgi/Jack Russell mix, (Sir Prince) that loves meeting new friends. So while in my care, your baby will have my constant attention, and personalized detailed care, as if he or she were my own. I also believe in providing my clients a peace of mind while away from their bundles of joy. I know how stressful it can sometimes be. You are welcome to bring a Kennel for your furbaby if they are use to using one. In my experience, they are helpful during feeding times and when personal space is needed. Sometimes they provide a bit more comfort to them when in an unfamiliar place. But for the most part, all pups have the freedom to roam as they wish. My specialty is in-house pet care, but taking the babies for walks is always possible. I provide homestyle daycare and boarding 24/7. Pups will never be left unattended. Lady K's Doggie Lounge and my clients are top priority for me. I offer a calm, free to roam environment. Kennels are only used for feedings and sleeping if needed. I can and will maintain your pets current schedule/ routine if necessary.

About: I was raised in a rural area surrounded by all kinds of animals, and we always had dogs and cats growing up. I have had the pleasure of dog and cat sitting numerous times over the years. I’m comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and enjoy spending time with them. I'm new to the Bay Area and looking to devote my time to your pet's schedule. I'm looking forward to getting outside and exploring new neighborhoods with some furry friends. I focus on creating a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. Growing up, I regularly helped care for my family’s dogs whenever they needed support, which gave me plenty of hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playing, and making sure pets feel safe and loved. I’m also a cat parent to my two kitties, Michi and Kiki, whom I’ve raised since they were just 8 weeks old. They’ll soon be two years old! Caring for them has given me daily experience with cat care, routines, playtime, and creating a calm, comfortable environment for pets. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I am currently a master’s student at UC Berkeley. Most days of the week, I end classes at 1pm, so I will be available after that, Sundays and Saturdays the whole day! I have a large apartment for your pup to play in! I also have an outside space for your pup to play in with supervision.
