About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. The pet parents I work with know their pets best, and I take their guidance and wishes very seriously. When I'm housesitting, I treat clients' homes with even more respect than I treat my own.

About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.

About: I'll give your pets the attention and care they need, through tug-of-war, cuddles or even just my presence at home. I'm also happy to take your dog on adventures if you're comfortable with it :) I'm currently looking for work, so I can be present as much as your pets need me to be. I only need to leave the house to go to the gym or sports practice. As an animal lover, I'll pay close attention to how your animal is feeling, and make sure they get the attention and care they need. I'll also take care of your home and leave it clean and well taken care of per your instructions.

About: I've taken care of dogs my whole life - but my favorite part is and always will be taking them on walks! I am a dog lover at heart and love to see how happy it makes them to be taken out. I work from home and and am extremely diligent about walking every day. Whether it's alone, walking with a friend, or walking my own dog - I will be found walking no matter what. About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: Ever since I was a kid, I've loved animals. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs, and I always enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities. I spent time playing with them, caring for them, and even drawing them. In 2014, I adopted my first pet as an adult, Momo, a sweet cat with short legs and a big personality. In 2020, our family grew again with Oogi, a playful corgi. Through caring for them, I gained years of hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, enrichment, grooming, training, and veterinary care.
