“We can’t recommend Megan and Jenny enough. We booked an extended stay for our pup and they provided us with regular pictures and updates. Our dog came back happy and healthy, and we won’t hesitate to rebook in the future!”

“Such an amazing experience thanks to Kani - from the get-go she was so friendly and totally open to my erratic drop-off and pick up hours (thanks work and Southwest Airlines schedules!) and her resident pooch - Mr Prince - is just the sweetest. She coped with my pup being on meds and needing to maintain a low level of activity owing to an injury and sent loads of photo updates - leading me to worry that my dog wouldn't want to come home as she was having such a wonderful time! I will definitely book again and am already working out when Lexie can stay with her for daycare - thank you so much!”

“Danielle is so patient with our new pup! He had an accident and she gave him a belly band with no issues at all. They took him to the beach for his one night stay this time. Chili loves Danielle and her fam!”

“Matthew and Van Jospeh did a wonderful job hosting our dog, Stanley, for a 2 night stay. They were very easy to work with, were flexible, very friendly, and Stanley seemed at ease the moment he met them. Would absolutely use their boarding services again. Thank you!”

“Thank you Marlene for your terrific care of Raver! He had a great overnight with you and we're grateful for your warmth, clear communication and professionalism. We'll reach out to rebook for sure! Thanks again.”

“Lee took such great care of our dog over the holidays. We were so at ease even as first time boarders. She sent frequent updates which we really appreciated. We will be using her services again and highly recommend for other dog parents”

“Kelly is amazing and accommodating to the end. She is so considerate that on top of my hospitalization, she actually DELIVERED Austin to my home. She always goes above and beyond.”

“Mary was an amazing dog sitter for Yali! We received multiple updates each day with super cute pictures. We could tell how well Mary cared for him and incorporated him into her routine, taking him on errands and walks all over the neighborhood. She was very considerate during our initial meet and greet, knowing how to introduce herself and her dog to Yali. This helped him feel comfortable and welcome in her home. She was so kind and sweet to Yali and we are looking forward to booking with her again!”

“Madeleine was so fantastic! This was the first time we left our dog with anyone, and I was so happy everything went smoothly. Our dog warmed up to Madeleine immediately and she was very accommodating to our needs and concerns. Thank you so much for making our pup feel safe and comfortable!”

“Robert and Brian, again, were wonderful with Nada. We feel quite comfortable leaving her with them and will absolutely leave her with them again. Thank you both ❤️”

“My first time booking a sitter through Rover, and my senior dachshund loved the weekend he spent at Eiko’s place! She took amazing car of my dog and seemed super comfortable with the notes I left her—my dog is pretty easy going but can be a bit needy at times. I got a handful of updates throughout the weekend but I was also able to turn my attentions away and feel really comfortable leaving her in charge of the little guy. I’d definitely recommend her, and I’ll likely be looking to book here again!”
About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: Hey I’m Izzy! I’m here to treat your fur babies as if they’re mine. When I’m with your dog I like to stimulate their mind by bringing treats and toys and have fun with some training (of course with your permission first!). I am currently a self employed dog trainer so I do know how to handle different types of dogs. My main experience is training and I frequently work with service dogs. I have experience with all kinds of temperaments so don’t be shy to let me know if your dog has an anxiety issue or is overly excited. My upmost important priority is making your dog feel as comfortable as possible when he or she is under my care. I can’t wait to meet all these beautiful faces! I am also a student and still new to the bay area. Luckily at the moment my schedule is rather flexible, I can potentially adjust my schedule for your pet on certain occasions! I will follow whatever instructions you give me when I stay over at your home. There will be constant supervision when let outside or on a walk. Your dog will have a warm bed (or crate) to sleep in and their mental + physical needs will be met everyday!

“Jeff and Beth were so fantastic to work with. Our pup seemed to have a really nice time (we weren't sure he was thrilled to be back home). They were very responsive and gave lots of appreciated check-ins about how things were going. We would be excited to work with them again!”
About: I’ve grown up with cats and kittens my whole life and continued adopting them as an adult — animals have always been at the heart of my home! I’ve raised and trained a puppy from 8 weeks old, cared for up to 3 medium-sized dogs at a time, and have experience housing and caring for rabbits, birds, and reptiles too. 🐶🐱🐰🦜🐸🦎 Your pet will be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll be treated like family! I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. They’re always excited to welcome new furry guests! 🐕🐈 I believe pet sitting is so much more than just filling a food bowl twice a day — it’s about being real company for your pet. Surrounded by cozy blankets, their favorite toys from home, and plenty of love, your pet will feel comfortable and right at ease from the moment they arrive. I’m happy to provide multiple daily walks and plenty of undivided attention throughout the day!

Bryce took perfect care of Yoshi, I couldn’t be more satisfied. We first did a meeting date with nebula (his dog) and they seemed to do well together so I booked him. Bryce’s communication was great and I felt that Yoshi was in really good hands the whole time. Yoshi is still recovering from an injury and has to take medication and supplements and Bryce was very patient, caring, and attentive to my baby girl. A dog with an injury can be a complex thing but Bryce really gave me the reassurance I needed to enjoy my vacation. Bryce sent updates the whole time and I can tell he puts a lot of thought and care into our animals. It was a perfect sitter experience for me. My flight coming back home from my 10 day trip was delayed a bit and Bryce was incredibly flexible with the mishap. I’m hoping to book Bryce again and I highly recommend him to anyone that’s looking for help with their fur babies. Thanks again Bryce! Yoshi looks very healthy and happy after her stay, it’s like she had a little vacation too! Don’t hesitate to book this guy!

1st day with Mariola and my 1 yr old fur baby loved it. Was very happy upon arrival and departure... she had a quick meet and greet a few days before, leading up to the visit and was excited to see Tino again (Mariola's 4 y/o doggy). We will be trying an overnight stay soon, with a plan to have her stay for a 2 wk vacation I am away.

This was Dash’ first time boarding overnight. Alexandra put my worries at ease. Secure fenced backyard, dogs eat separately from each other. Alexandra was conscientious and gave my boy a place to retreat to at all times, and also did supervised introductions to the two other dogs in her care to invite play if he wanted. Such a positive experience for him and for me, too! Highly recommend Alexandra for your dog’s care. And she lives across the street from a sweet little park! Thanks for taking such good care of Dashiell 🥰

We feel so lucky that we found Brian and Robert? Within moments of meeting them, our dog was happy and comfortable. Though our dog will sometimes skip a meal due to anxiety when he first meets a new caregiver, not so with Robert! He ate all of his meals! In addition to the many great walks and outings, Robert provided us with many videos and photos of their adventures together. So appreciate all that they did for him!

Linette was awesome! Molly has severe separation anxiety but Linette took extra time and care with her making sure she felt safe and secure. She took lots of pictures and videos and took Molly on adventures that she loved 😍 I will definitely book with Linette again!

Sara and Evan took such amazing care of our 7 month old puppy!! It was our first time leaving him with someone other than family and they sent us regular updates and photos (great photography skills too!) and made our trip relaxing as we knew he was having the best time. We will definitely be booking them again!

Gloria is always so sweet with my dogs! She is consistently sends me updates & cute pictures throughout the day to let me know that they were doing perfectly at her house. My dogs come back to me happy and healthy every time. Gloria is my go-to sitter in the Bay Area & I’ll be sure to give her a call in the future ☺️

Shannon and Rocky were awesome! Our dog, Peanut, is 14 years old and needs more care than a younger pup. We were also gone for an extended period of time (10 days) which is unusual for us. Shannon and Rocky went above and beyond to make sure Peanut was comfortable, engaged and well cared for. They administered medications, cooked eggs and beef to top the dog food (how we get our dog to eat her food), and walked her at her own pace, which is often slow. Peanut requires a bit more work at her age and Shannon and Rocky were so lovely about it. We received updates and it was reassuring. Peanut seemed happy to be there, and we wouldn't hesitate to leave Peanut with them again.

Hong and her husband and daughter took great care of Bowser. They were really communicative and kept sending pictures and videos through the entire time. And the videos even had background music. I had to ask them to send them to some separately since they were so good. Would totally leave Bowser with them again.
