Quiet house with a sunny yard!
As a pet parent, I have experienced firsthand the drastic difference between boarding in a home versus a kennel for the health and well-being of my dog. Staying in a home environment is all-around less stressful. I’m happy that I can open my home to taking dedicated, individualized care of one or two dogs at a time. I can’t wait to meet your pup!

Karen is great, I always feel safe and at ease when Efv is at her house. She recently cared for him the day before CCL (that's doggy ACL) surgery and she took great care in making sure she knew how to care for him with limited mobility. She is reliable and pleasant!
A great stay as per usual! Mochi had a fantastic time sun bathing with his buddy Ginsburg and also got to enjoy a long hike with Karen and Ben. Thanks again!

I work from home, so your pet will have companionship throughout the day. My typical work hours are 9-4, but I take breaks to play with my dog often.

I will provide a consistent routine and safe environment for your pet. I have an elderly pit mix who gets along with most dogs. He is typically a calming presence for guest dogs and is a role model for good behavior at home. We usually watch dogs that are between 30-60 lbs. For new clients, booking a one night stay is a good way to check compatibility. I don't take guest dogs to dog parks or let them off-leash due to safety concerns.

Ginsburg often spends the morning sunbathing on the back deck. I’ll give him a greenie, let him hunt for cheese cubes in the grass, and play tug with him. We do a neighborhood walk around 4 pm and dinner at 6 pm. We also take dogs to local parks on the weekends, Albany Bulb, Pt Isabel, Tilden, Sibley, or Redwood Regional if their temperment allows.
