“Pablo and Claire (sp) took very good care of Roxy for a week. Pablo sent great photo updates and asked questions to make sure that he’s taking the appropriate actions to keep Roxy happy and healthy. We joke that Roxy got a great vacation during her stay at Pablo’s, but that’s probably the truth. You can ‘t go wrong when you get Pablo & Claire to care for your dog (just don’t do it when we need to…).”

Our puppy had such a fun time in their enormous backyard, and she is genuinely tired out now, which is really difficult to accomplish. “My son’s dog Dobby stayed with Anthony and Nikita for about 10 days, and our experience couldn’t have been any better. Both are genuinely great, sweet people who love dogs. We did a meet and greet before dropping Dobby off, which I think was very helpful and put Dobby at ease when we finally dropped him off. They were very kind and attentive to Dobby’s needs. I was concerned about Dobby staying in someone else’s house with another dog because he is a rescue and he’s kind of skittish, but Dobby and Mia got along really well. Nikita sent me daily updates and photos and that was very reassuring. I also really appreciated the fact that they took Dobby out on hikes and walks with them. That was a real plus, since Dobby is an active dog. I would highly recommend Anthony and Nikita to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. I’ll be using them again in the future when I get a new dog!!! :)”

“Robert and Brian went above and beyond when they took care of my dog last weekend! They are reliable, experienced, caring, and I would highly recommend them. My 70lb dog, who can be quite shy around new people, quickly warmed up to them during the meet & greet, which is a testament to their patience and experience with shy dogs. They also took time to answer all my questions and show me around where the dog would stay/the yard during the meet and greet. Throughout the weekend I received regular updates, including photos and videos, which really put my mind at ease. Robert and Brian took my dog on long walks, spent time playing tug, and even designed enrichment activities like painting for my dog. My dog returned happy and healthy. I am grateful to Robert and Brian for their care and would board my dog with them again.”

“Chad was great with our pups. It's such a relief to find a good sitter and Chad is one of those people! He has a great place with a big backyard and nice house for the dogs to romp around in. He was very communicative both during our meet and greet as well as during their first stay with him. One of our dogs is a bit skittish with people but warmed right up to Chad, which is a testament to him and his ability to make her feel at ease. We already have another date on the calendar with him. Highly recommended.”

“We have a big rescue dog, Lupin, who is nervous around new people and leash reactive/frustrated because he wants to play with every dog he sees, and Karen was fantastic with him. It was very clear at our meet and greet at the park that she knew how to deal with such issues, and knew a lot about dogs and their behavoir. We did a one night trial run to get lupin used to them for longer boarding and they were very kind to him - we have already booked 2 more trips. At our meet and greet, her lovely pup was a marvelous calming influence on our 2 yr old.”

“I met Mai through the Oakland Animal Services dog foster programs in 2023. She helped me foster a senior pittie who I eventually ended foster failing. I think he had more fun with Mai than he does with me😂 Since then, I've seen Mai foster and dog sit numerous dogs with different temperaments, medical needs, and energy levels. They always blossom in her care! Mai has her own sweet rescue pup named Nugget who gets along with all dogs❤️”

“Had a great experience with Chana! I was initially surprised and a little skeptical when I took my dog for a meet and greet and there were several other dogs, however Chana and her loved ones seem to have a good handle on evaluating and adjusting for individual dog behavior and even though mine can be a handful they were great with him! He came home tired and played out. Great backyard for dog play, looks like he got plenty of attention and she was very communicative and sent me lots of pictures. I’d definitely recommend as long as your dog plays well with other dogs.”

Paula was great with providing updates on how he was doing throughout the stay and went out of her way to make sure he was getting all the attention and activity he would receive at home. She also went above and beyond, suggesting a new harness that would help with his pulling and new food. Bogey looks forward to his next stay!”

“It was our first time trying Rover and Keara was AMAZING. She is kind, warm, and communicative - all the things you’d want when you are trusting your furry pet with someone. She was highly responsive and sent plenty of videos and pictures of my dog each day, throughout the day. She cuddled him, played with him, took him out with her in the backpack I provided for dinner with her and just kept him great company. I couldn’t have had a better experience and would highly recommend the wonderful Keara!”

“Melina was our first Rover experience and she made the process so welcoming. We'd never left our dog overnight with someone he didn't know – he's anxious, reactive and has separation anxiety, so it was important to us that we worked with with someone who understands and is patient with him. Melina was all of that and more! Within hours she had him snuggling up to her, and by the evening he was sleeping curled up next to her head. We got regular updates throughout the stay (including pictures) and felt so at-ease knowing he was well cared for. We would absolutely recommend Melina as a Rover, and especially for anyone with a special needs dog or a shy pup. She was amazing!”
