About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, beginning with my childhood growing up on a farm. That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. I know exactly what it takes to create a safe, enriching, and comforting environment for visiting animals. I can give owners peace of mind while they are away! I am currently working part-time and have lots of flexibility to work around schedules and to setup routines! I also have transportation to travel. I have a fully fenced in yard with two fur babies to keep your doggos safe and entertained! They can lounge outside in the sun or inside.

My dog is really anxious when it comes to leaving my side and has special needs (tons of allergies, reactive with humans, separation anxiety) but with Jake, he becomes a completely different dog!! Dashi always RUSHES and ZOOMS straight to Jake's home since he's SOOOOO excited to be back!! Dashi gets along so well with Jake and seems to really trust him. Jake always sends pictures which let us know that Dashi's not only safe, but is having a blast making new friends and being cared for. This was Dash’ first time boarding overnight. Alexandra put my worries at ease. Secure fenced backyard, dogs eat separately from each other. Alexandra was conscientious and gave my boy a place to retreat to at all times, and also did supervised introductions to the two other dogs in her care to invite play if he wanted. Such a positive experience for him and for me, too! Highly recommend Alexandra for your dog’s care. And she lives across the street from a sweet little park! Thanks for taking such good care of Dashiell 🥰
Julia was absolutely wonderful with my dog during her 5-night stay! She truly spoiled and loved her. Julia walked her several times a day, was incredibly sweet and attentive, and kept me updated with great communication/pictures throughout. She was also super flexible with drop-off and pickup times. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for excellent pet care!
Sara and Evan took such amazing care of our 7 month old puppy!! It was our first time leaving him with someone other than family and they sent us regular updates and photos (great photography skills too!) and made our trip relaxing as we knew he was having the best time. We will definitely be booking them again!

Shannon and Rocky were awesome! Our dog, Peanut, is 14 years old and needs more care than a younger pup. We were also gone for an extended period of time (10 days) which is unusual for us. Shannon and Rocky went above and beyond to make sure Peanut was comfortable, engaged and well cared for. They administered medications, cooked eggs and beef to top the dog food (how we get our dog to eat her food), and walked her at her own pace, which is often slow. Peanut requires a bit more work at her age and Shannon and Rocky were so lovely about it. We received updates and it was reassuring. Peanut seemed happy to be there, and we wouldn't hesitate to leave Peanut with them again.
Boarding my little elder dog with Mary was truly the best experience ever! I was nervous to leave her with a new person, but the stay was flawless. Mary (and murphy) immediately welcomed and settled my pup in to her home & sent many sweet photos and updates. I was immediately relaxed -and so appreciative. Mary is communicative and was so warm and gentle with my pup. Drop and pick up were organized and efficient, and my dog was completely unfazed and relaxed a week later when I returned for her. Could not recommend Mary enough for a safe, loving, individualized and a homey stay for your pup. I have already re-booked another stay. Thank you Mary (and murphy)!
I couldn’t be happier with the care Abigail gave Ragnar! 🐾❤️ She took such great care of him, took him on multiple walks every day, and sent me plenty of updates and photos throughout the day. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy, comfortable, and being so well taken care of the entire time. I felt completely at ease while I was away and knew Ragnar was in great hands. She was attentive, caring, and truly treated him like her own.
