“Megan and Jenny were fantastic! They communicated multiple updates throughout the day — every day, and multiple times — with photos. They made sure Pancho was well taken care of and enjoyed a variety of activities. They were responsive, attentive, and kind. Drop-off and pick-up were efficient. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be repeat customers.”

“I wasn’t sure if my dog Toby would want to come home because I could tell he was having the time of his life all weekend long. I look forward to Toby spending more time at Lee’s home again soon!”

“Meera was great to work with, very responsive and flexible and sent lots of photos. Took Luna for nice long hikes and was thoughtful enough to ask about allergies before giving any new treats. Would book again!”

“Albie is so happy when he sees Isaac and Jordan! They took him for a long walk today and we’re so glad that he had so much fun with them. All our directions were followed perfectly. Albie says “see you next time””

“Anna was as happy and healthy as the day I dropped her off! You guys did a great job with her… I now know at the next time I travel I have the confidence of leaving here in good hands. I bet she misses you guys. We should make a play date scheduled so she can see her new friends! Thank you again”

“Sharon took great care of Cain, especially given a recent health concern that popped up for him right before we were leaving for our trip. I felt that he was comfortable and in great care!”

“Alexandra is such a great pet sitter. We have a very high energy dog and she makes sure he gets plenty of exercise and socializing with other dogs. She also is wonderful about keeping us informed on his daily status and sends pictures and videos. She is our go to for pet sitting.”

“Rachel was very patient and attentive with my senior dog who has separation anxiety and some medical needs. She was communicative and easy to work with. My dog did really well staying with her and I would definitely use her services again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! From the start, Tierra was incredibly considerate of our dog’s routine and needs. We loved getting the daily updates and photos—it really put our minds at ease while we were away. It was clear our dog felt right at home at her place and was treated like family. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

“Kristen and Ryan were incredibly warm and accommodating when first meeting my small and nervous doggie. They showed their home and clearly demonstrated a level of care and experience that gave me a lot of comfort and would definitely rebook. They were also attentive of how our dogs interacted and made sure they experienced little to no distress. Highly recommend their services 🩷”

“Nasreddine was great! I had a last minute trip and luckily she was available to watch my Peaches. She sent daily pictures and updates and treated her like she was her own. Peaches came home happy from all the walks and play time with her new friend. Will definitely use her services again.”

“Our girls had a great time with Chad and his family. We will definitely be reaching out again in the future. Thanks so much for taking such good care of our babies!”

“Rocco stayed with Jeff and Beth for the 3rd time during our winter break. He was clearly happy to be there, as when we arrived he jumped out of the car and ran to the house and didn't even try to follow me out when I left. We really appreciate how Jeff and Beth welcome Rocco into their family and make him feel at home, and we love all the photo updates they send. Thanks again guys!”

About: I absolutely love all animals! Growing up, my family always had a minimum of two dogs at a time. Since I was young, I have been trusted by friends and family members to watch over not only their pets, but their plants as well. As an adult living alone, I have only ever had 1 cat at a time in my home, however, my plant game has grown to a bit of a jungle! On top of taking care of animals, I also LOVE a clean house and I take it upon myself to always leave people’s homes cleaner than I found them in! I’m currently looking to open my own business doing just that: Pet sitting and deep cleaning while folks are out of town. In my opinion, there is nothing better than coming home from a vacation or a work trip to a clean home and a happy animal! I have been working with Meowtel watching cats for the last year and have found it to be exceptionally rewarding. Recently, my sweet cat passed away and I left my demanding job. Due to these circumstances I have decided that since I have the time and opportunity, opening my home to board would be a great way to expand my offerings. I look forward to meeting this community and giving dog (cat, plant, etc.) owners peace of mind while they travel, get stuck working a double, or just want to support their companion with an extra afternoon walk. I left my extremely demanding job in December after my cat got sick. I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible. Since his passing, I have focused on taking care of pets and cleaning homes. This has brought me more joy than any demanding corporate job, and I hope I can continue to work in this capacity for many years in the future. My schedule is very flexible! I am an animal lover living in an animal free home at this moment. Because of this, I am open to boarding. I am not concerned with animals who want to sit on the couch with me or lay on the bed, but I will follow the rules of what they’re allowed to do at home if you prefer that. My home will be their home, and I will do everything to make sure that they feel safe and cared for while in my hands. I’m an active person and love taking long walks and hikes. So, if that’s something that your dog is into, I am happy to schedule an adventure that meets their mileage needs! On the contrary, if you have a small dog or one who just wants to go out for a stroll around the block or to do their business in the grass, I’m happy to do that too! I have a small unfenced side yard to accommodate. I live on the second floor of an apartment building with no elevator, so if your pup is not able to do stairs and is too heavy to pick up, my home wouldn’t be a good fit.
“Meagan was great!! Met Pismo before the sit to make sure he was a good fit which I appreciated. great communication and sent lots of photos. Put up with his antics when he stole another dogs food! She obviously understands dogs and was very welcoming! Highly recommend!”

“Eiko is such a fantastic sitter who we truly trust. She has watched our dog twice now while we are traveling, and both times we felt very comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands. The first time she watched our dog, she arranged a meet and greet. The second time, our dog, who is normally on the anxious side, was so excited to see her house again that he ran right up to the front door. She is very caring and friendly and sends us lots of updates. Highly recommend!”

Crocker Highland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Charlie had another great stay with Kara and Nathan! This was the first time Charlie had stayed with them since they adopted their dog, Delta. But luckily the two dogs seemed to get along well, and they all took excellent care of Charlie, with regular updates and photos/videos.

Alexis was wonderful to work with and I’m grateful we were able to leave our pup in great hands! This was our first experience with Rover (though not the first with sitters) and everything was smooth, straightforward, and easy. Alexis was attentive and responsive, and sent photos every day so we could see how our dog was doing. Will definitely book with her again in the future! Thank you Alexis! 🙏💕🐾

Alexandra is such a great pet sitter. We have a very high energy dog and she makes sure he gets plenty of exercise and socializing with other dogs. She also is wonderful about keeping us informed on his daily status and sends pictures and videos. She is our go to for pet sitting.

Haley did an incredible job with my pup Nyx. From the moment we met I could tell she LOVED dogs. She made me feel comfortable about leaving my girl for a few days. It was my first time using Rover and I would highly recommend Haley to anyone looking for a caring/ compassionate dog sitter.

Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is. Sage was also friendly and got along with him as we saw them going on walks together on the photos. Loved it for Kona that he got to experience Sage and his mama! Kona will for sure be back. Thanks Natasha!

If you are looking for a pet sitter that will care for your animal as if they are one of your own, look no further. A selfish part of me wants to not leave a review at all so that we can keep this lovely couple all to ourselves and our dog, but that would not be fair. Robert and Brian- thank you truly for taking such incredible care of Athena and all the updates, especially the photo dumps. We (me, my partner, and Athena for sure) appreciate you both so much!

Beth and Jeff were absolutely incredible! My girl Sunday is high energy and sometimes gets a little nervous in new places, but Beth and Jeff made Sunny feel right at home. She ran around in their oasis of a backyard and played with her new best friends (Beth and Jeff’s 2 kids)—she was even allowed to sleep in their room! Sunny came home reluctantly and very tired! Sunny already can’t wait for me to leave town so she can stay with her new pals again!
