About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for cats and genuinely love earning their trust. I’ve had cats of my own, from raising a kitten to caring for an adult cat, and I’ve looked after cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats with extra needs. Over the years I’ve cared for as many as four cats at once and completed cat sits lasting up to eight weeks, so I’m comfortable settling into each cat’s routine. Whether your cat is social and wants constant company, shy and prefers their space, or even enjoys leash walks (yes, I’ve happily walked a cat before!), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I have experience with indoor-only and indoor/outdoor cats, and I know how important consistency is for their comfort. About: I've been taking care of pups and kitties since I was about 8 yrs old! I've learned how to identify triggers and/or warning signs with this experience. Hello ☺️ I just moved to the Bay Area and I'm a pawrent to one pup and two kitties! I just got my degree in Video Production/Film and will be freelancing when I can, which means my schedule is very open!! My current availability for drop-in visits and pup walking is Monday- Sunday 6am-10pm, unless it's a blocked out date. I would prefer to have a meet & greet before any booking. About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. I have a fenced yard and loving older gentle children who adore pets. I can crate your dog if desired to sleep, but also have kids that would be very happy to snuggle if preferred. About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.

About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. I have always had at least two or three cats and dogs or two. I have raised puppies and cared for elderly pets. I have cared for diabetic cats and dogs with cancer. I understand the importance of following pet parents instructions when caring for other’s animals because each pet has very different needs. I am free right now all days but Tuesday which is when I attend classes at SFSU. I am free for dogs walks or dog sitting all days but Tuesday as long as I have a days notice. I live in an apartment with no yard right now down the street from lake Merrit. There is a dog park just 1 block down the street with a fence that I will walk dogs down to 4-8 times a day depending on the needs of the dog. About: I love dogs. Plain and simple. Nothing makes me happier or puts a bigger smile on my face than seeing a dog strut down the sidewalk, living its best life, or just stretched out somewhere soaking up the sun. I’ve had the honor of being a dog dad to three pups over the years, and I miss having one around. I’m currently dog-childless, and after recently retiring from a job I had for 32 years, I’ve got a little more time on my hands and, honestly, I’m craving some much-needed dog time. I’m not quite in a position to bring another dog into our family right now, so I figured this might be the next best thing. I’d love to spend some of that time giving your dog some love, getting them out for a good walk, letting them get some exercise, and just hanging out with them. I genuinely enjoy being around dogs. They make me happy, and I think they can tell when somebody really likes them. So I’d love nothing more than to meet your pup, get to know their personality, and make a new four-legged friend. I’ll give them plenty of attention, take good care of them, and probably talk to them like they’re a person. Because, well… they are. At least in my book. I’m retired, so I have a pretty open and flexible schedule these days. I’m available Monday through Thursday from 8am–6pm, and honestly, I can’t think of a better way to spend some of that time than getting outside and hanging out with a dog. I like getting some steps in, getting some fresh air, and having a dog along makes all of that a lot more fun. So pet care fits pretty naturally into my week. I’m happy to work around your dog’s routine and give them some attention, exercise, and companionship while you’re busy. Since I’m offering dog walks, most of my time with your pup will be out getting some fresh air, stepping out on the town, and having a good time. I’ll come to your home, get your pup ready to go, and we’ll head out for a good walk. I’ll follow whatever instructions you leave for me, but mostly I’ll just pay attention to your dog and let them be themselves. Some dogs want to cover some ground, some want to stop and sniff every five feet, and some just want a little extra attention along the way. I’m good with all of it. And when I say I’ll treat your dog like my own, I mean it. My dogs were family, and they were treated like royalty with plenty of love, attention, belly rubs, and affection. Basically, I want your dog to have a great time, feel safe and loved, and be thinking, “When is this guy coming back?”

I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!

About: I've always loved dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether that's going for walks, playing, or just keeping them company. I know every dog has a different personality and routine, so I take the time to make sure they're comfortable and cared for the way they're used to. I work from home three times a week which gives me more time to care for pups. This is something that allows me more flexibility with care needs. I do not have any other pets in the home which allows your pet to have all my attention, therefore meeting whatever need they may have.

Hello ☺️ I just moved to the Bay Area and I'm a pawrent to one pup and two kitties! I just got my degree in Video Production/Film and will be freelancing when I can, which means my schedule is very open!! My current availability for drop-in visits and pup walking is Monday- Sunday 6am-10pm, unless it's a blocked out date. I would prefer to have a meet & greet before any booking. This helps me understand how to properly care for each pet. I always want to make sure that each furry friend, fur parent, and myself feels comfortable before hand. Whenever I drop in to visit, I make sure to do what ever is asked in regards to caring for your furry babies! Potty breaks. Making sure they are fed. Cuddle sessions! And of course making sure that I leave everything how it was before I arrived.
About: I want every dog i walk to have a happy wagging tail when we are together. I have experience walking large and small dogs alike. I have a very flexible schedule Monday thru Friday, mostly in the afternoons and early evenings. I work on weekends so I'm not available then. Since I only do dog walking, I am very careful about encountering other dogs, crossing streets at lights or crosswalks. I pay close attention to their needs as we walk to see if they need petting, treats or to sniff around the area.
About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs.
