1. Cynthia R.

“Cynthia was a great walker with our dog Rocky! She took him on long walks and he was a happy and tired pup every day. Very responsive as well. Thank you Cynthia!”

2. Stephanie A.

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

3. Natalie B.

“I hired Natalie to walk my dog while I had all day commitment. She was amazing with my dog who can be shy with strangers. She followed directions perfectly and even came back after discovering an issue with the punch code on the front door. I’d highly recommend her. She’s clearly a committed person and animal lover.”

4. Christine L.

“Christine came to the rescue on short notice to walk our foster dog while we were on vacation. She was patient, understanding and offered great care. Love the rover.com app and the report card feature! Christine clearly followed the protocol, gave informative daily feedback and put our concerns about leaving new foster pet at ease. Thanks Christine!”

5. Esteban O.

“Esteban quickly became my puppy's very best friend (I hope my kids don't see this). My puppy returns from walks and passes out for hours. Esteban is reliable and my puppy is always excited to go on their walks. He also communicates well and gives great updates on any activity from the walk.”

6. Jennifer & Jordan L.

“Jennifer was lovely, attentive, and a great communicator. We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

7. Adam G.

“Adam is so great and patient with our stubborn bully mix! We appreciated the time he spent with him on walks. We will definitely request Adam for the future.”

8. Andrea D.

“Andrea was great with our dog Java! We needed a last minute walk and Andrea was very flexible in accommodating us. We will definitely have her back !”

9. Elise C.

“Elise did a great job walking my Great Dane mix. She was very energetic and positive, and my dog seemed very comfortable with her. Highly recommend!”

10. Cristina E.

“Cristina is wonderful! My dog Freckles is a very shy and timid dog but within a very short time she was comfortable with Cristina and now greets her with a wagging tail :) Cristina is professional and thoughtful in how she approaches caring for your dog. I'm grateful I found her and will be using her for all future dog walking needs.”

11. Erin S.

“Erin is fantastic and takes really good care of my dog, Sansa, when I’m away. She is punctual, reliable, provides regular updates and is someone I trust to be with Sansa and makes sure she is cared for!”

12. Hikaru & John M.
“Hikaru is a responsible and lovely person. She previously watched my 50-pound husky (Luna) for several days while I was out-of-town. I met with Hikaru a few times before she watched Luna. I could quickly tell from both her personality and her behavior towards myself and Luna that she is very responsible. I provided Hikaru with all of Luna's stuff (food, water bottle, leash, etc), a summary of her daily habits, and instructions on meals. Hikaru read them and instead of guessing, she asked questions within a few hours to make sure that she is properly taking care of Luna the way I wanted. She texted me pictures of Luna several times, one of which included an 8-mile hike (perfect for an active 1-year-old husky). When I returned home to pick up Luna, Hikaru was jogging with Luna. If I had to choose my top two most valued characteristics of Hikaru, it would definitely be her love for dogs and strong sense of responsibility. I would definitely ask Hikaru to dog sit for me again.”

About: I had a full grown cat in my crib as a baby, my parent's told me I would feed it my bottle. I moved to SC to live with my grandmother when I was young. She was a nurse and spent a lot of time helping the local animal shelter. At most, 20 kittens or puppies would be at her house. Usually the animals were malnourished or sick, she would try to get them healthy enough to adopt. That's probably why I love cats and dogs as much as I do. I've adopted 2 dogs, 1 cat from the humane society as an adult. The first dog I adopted was a feral puppy, I adopted him bc I wanted to see why my grandmother never would allow feral animals in her home. I had him for 14 wonderful years but it did take a lot of training and patience. The last dog I owned was a 1 year old pit from a kill shelter. I was able to train this dog not to bite and protect it's owner without biting. I love pets, I know more than your regular person on what types of food/treats to give a dog. For example, if your dog eats a couple pecans, that's bad news. I also know people can be very particular of what they want their animals eating, even if it's a treat. I'd never give someone else's pet a treat without their consent. My job revolves around fixing coffee machines and that business isn't as busy as it used to be prior to the pandemic. I have plenty of free time and I understand how important a routine is in young dogs/cats and I'm willing to help out in any way I possibly can. Currently my roommate has a dog that isn't friendly around other dogs, it's a 9 year old Shiba, and I've learned those breeds are some of the most stubborn dogs. I feed this dog, wash her, and trim du claws and nails. When my roommate is out of town, I let the dog sleep in my bed even though I can't stand how much she sheds. I have a clean background, I've never been in trouble for stealing bc my parents brought me up not to do that. Prior to moving out to CA to work on coffee machines, I spent 17 year's working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage department. I didn't love my job which is why I'm out here now. My roommate I've known since high school, he'll confirm you won't have to worry when you're out of town.

14. Charlii C.

“Wes and Margot had a lovely evening walk with Charlii. Thanks so much!!”

15. Andres G.
“I can't think of a better person as a pet caregiver. Andres adores animales and it's really good with dogs. He has been taking care of my husky Samoyed mix since I adopted her 6 yrs ago and I even leave her with him while I go on long trips....he takes care of her with absolutely dedication.”

About: I am a 24 year old queer person who has had a life time of love and interest in animals and their care. I have does extensive research on the psychology of cat and dog behavior as well as training online videos and dating somemone who works at FAAS (Animal Shelter). I am currently unemployed so I have all the time in the world for pet care! I expect this to include walkings, potty breaks, feedings, indoor play time, and possibly providing enriching activities for kitties and dogs. I have used the Jackson Galaxy method for socialising my three cats one at a time to each other and now they all coexist peacefully in my two-story house. We have a bunch of cat trees for them along with boxes and boxes of different kinds of toys that we use to give them physical and mental activity. I only feed them wet food and one ingredient treats as well as adding water, salmon oil, and meal morsels to their food for added benefits. When caring for dogs I enjoy running with them, providing large open spaces for running, playing with a meriad of toys and feeding them high nutrient meals and snacks. I enjoy hiking or just strolling with pups. whatever works for them.

About: Hello! You can count on me to take good care of your dog! I grew up with a 50 lbs medium sized dog. She was a mix of Labrador, Jack Russell terrier and Pit Bull, with a lot of sweet energy. It would be a pleasure to take care of your pup, and I am happy to stop by or stay overnight. They will receive the best attention, happy walks, and many many tummy rubs. I started babysitting for dogs via Rover about 4 years ago, while I was a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania. I have taken care of many dogs- from terriers to Great Danes- all with very different personalities! I have loved doing it and my dogs always leave well walked, and happy! Let me know if I can be of service. I’m currently working three days in the office and two days at home. I will care for you pup before and after work! It is a large house so they can hang in the living room when I’m away I live in a large home with two other people who love dogs. We share a fenced yard with one other person and her small dog.

18. Nathaniel P.
“Nathaniel took care of my little Bruno (a terrier mix) while I was gone on a trip. He stayed at my place for 6 days and during that time Bruno (who can be difficult at times) fell in love with him. I gave Nathaniel instructions on how to keep Bruno’s routine and he followed all of them. Bruno is an energetic dog who needs a lot of exercise and play time and Nathaniel was amazing at providing what Bruno needed. He sent me constant updates with pictures of the two of them on walks or playing fetch. Bruno loved his time with Nathaniel and I’m glad I found a trustworthy person I can safely leave Bruno with while I’m away.”

19. Christine S.
