About: I’m the devoted doggie aunt to some pretty fantastic pups, and I genuinely love spending time with dogs. Walks aren’t something I rush through—I’m happy to let your dog sniff, explore, get some exercise and enjoy being outside. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable following your dog’s particular routine, whether that means a brisk walk, a leisurely neighborhood sniffari, playtime or just some extra company and affection. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own—even though I’m still waiting for one of my own! My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can accommodate weekday and weekend visits and walks, including daytime hours when many people are at work. I’m happy to work around your pet’s established routine and give them the time and attention they’re accustomed to. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and access to your home—is a big deal. I’m mature, dependable, communicative and respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions carefully, pay attention to changes in behavior, and know how to stay calm if something unexpected happens. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with patience, kindness and affection.

About: I’ve had 3 family dogs, and currently miss my energetic nephew golden doodle Harvey back in Texas. For years, family and friends have trusted me to care for pets of all ages, and I can handle multiple animals at once. I’m comfortable hiking the hills of the city or running through the park to stretch your pets legs! I have experience with weeks old puppies as well as week long pet sitting with senior dogs needing extra care. Can’t wait to meet y’all! These days with my remote small business, I’m lucky enough to have a comfortable balance with maintaining my loyal regular clients and having a couple open days to schedule new friends. When I’m caring for a pet in a clients home, I first check with the pet parent to review all care notes before our appointment begins. It’s important to know from the parent how their pet will react to their absence and usually we get to know each other a bit before a longer booking occurs. Generally my schedule allows me to relax and play with your fur friend throughout our time together, whenever they would like.

I was previously a sales engineer with IBM. I'd love to help all the cat and dog mamas/papas out here just as I had in Boulder, CO and, before that, Chicago, IL. I grew up with dogs since the age of 8 - mixed breeds, yorkies, labs, pitbulls, shepherds, terriers, corgis, chihuahuas, frenchies.. the list goes on!! One of the moments that confirmed I’d always want to work with animals was in college, when I helped care for my roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix, Bridget. She is the sweetest girl, though she struggled with anxiety and health issues. Her teeth were worn down from chewing rocks in her past life, and she’d carry a little blanket around whenever she felt distressed. With her special diet, supplements, and medications, Bridget taught me what it meant to truly care for a soul who’d been through so much. That experience deepened my love and empathy for all animals in a way that’s stayed with me ever since. I'm a huge advocate for providing pets with a great quality of life - more than just basic food and shelter. I'm happy to do any small extraneous tasks like getting the mail, watering plants, etc. Just let me know in advance! For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 kids (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja) and a short stint fostering, I'm seasoned in all things cat/kitten: socializing, changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). Since I’m a full-time student, my Rover calendar is updated to work with my in-person class and clinic shifts. That said, many families are comfortable having my partner, Ian, join when he’s available—which allows for a little more flexibility with scheduling. It’s a wonderful setup because Ian works from home (and is basically a dog at heart!), so your pets will almost always have company and care. Rest assured, it will only be me caring for your pets unless we’ve discussed and agreed otherwise. I’m also happy to bring Ian to our meet & greet and provide references upon request! I am responsible for creating a safe space for pets in their home. I make sure that they are comfortable and their boundaries are respected and understood with the guidance of their body language and the wisdom from their humans.
