About: I love cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes! I'll take care of them as if they were my own, and will gladly be a temporary replacement human for them while you are away! I can follow your directions and will always send pictures and updates to you frequently. If it's a longer stay, I will provide Polaroids of some of my favorite pictures I took of your pet! As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it is to be away from your furry family! I can administer medications, and have a lot of experience with injections as well (my childhood dog had diabetes, and I administered the insulin shots). I'm more than happy to take extra care of special needs or pets with health issues! 🐶 DOG EXPERIENCE: I've cared for my dogs on my own for 8+ years, and always had dogs growing up (25+ years). I've worked with dogs of all temperaments, from shy & timid dogs to high-energy dogs to very reactive dogs. I am currently a mother to two dogs (one senior, one younger), so I have direct experience successfully managing multiple dogs on walks and at home. I also have a lot of experience with special needs and dogs with health issues, so I'm very comfortable administering medications and taking special care with dogs that have mobility issues. 🐱 CAT EXPERIENCE It's your cat's world, I'm just a guest in it! I've had the honor of taking care of amazing cats through Rover, and have taken care of cats for friends and family. I have experience managing a wide range of personalities, from high-energy to senior cats, from escape artists to extremely shy. I've also taken care of multiple cats, so I am very comfortable taking care of more than one and following special instructions for each. I will be in tune with your cat and will take it at the pace your cat decides. Your cat's the driver! I know how to engage in fun play sessions with your cat, and will make sure they feel enriched and happy after the visit! More info on my experience for each service: 🐕 DOG WALKING - Reactive dogs: I have a lot of experience walking reactive dogs. My recently adopted dog Stella was extremely reactive before I trained her, so I know how important it is to be in tune with your reactive dog on a walk and have eyes on your surroundings at all times and an exit route if needed. Your reactive dog will be safe with me, and I will be sure to be aware of all the triggers! - Shy / Timid dogs: I have personal experience with super shy and nervous dogs, and your dog will be safe with me on the walks. I'll be in tune with your dog to make sure they feel confident and safe with me. - Leash pullers: My dog Louie is a former leash puller (it's amazing how strong a 15 lb dog can be!) before I personally trained him to stop pulling. I also have walked larger dogs (i.e. Chow Chow) that pulled on the leash, so I know how important it is to have an iron grip on those leashes! - Multiple dogs: I have two dogs of my own, so I know how to handle multiple leashes and how to manage more than one dog on a walk. - Large-size and extra-large dogs: I have walked large dogs at the shelters as well for friends, so I know how to walk with larger dogs, especially leash pullers! - Walking styles: I'll ask in any meet + greets to learn your dog's walking styles, I've walked them all! From the "must sniff every flower and plant and trash can" to leash pullers, I will cater my walk to your dog! 🐾 DROP-IN VISITS - Multiple pets (dogs or cats): I have personal experience with my two dogs and have had the honor to check in on homes with multiple cats, so I am completely comfortable navigating different pet personalities and special instructions! I'll make sure each pet is individually taken care of! - Litter box cleaning: I will provide litter box cleaning every visit (I like to do this so I can report back on any health issues your pet may be having!) - I don't mind doing a deep clean! - Cleaning bowls: I will clean your pet's bowls daily (or as directed) and can clean, refill, and program feeders as well. - Playtime and/or cuddles: If your pet permits, I'll make sure to squeeze in extra time for play or cuddles! If things are going well, and we're over our allotted time, I tend to stay just a bit longer to finish any play sessions (at no extra charge to you!) :) Bonding with your pet is more important than clocking out! I work from home full-time with a flexible schedule, so I'll have plenty of time to provide care for your pet! Sometimes I have morning meetings, but I will always let you know if the timing doesn't work on my side. I have reliable transportation so I can travel to you! I will take care of your home, ensuring everything is safe and sound when entering and leaving. I can follow any special directions you have, and will provide regular updates throughout the service.

16. Emily C.
“Emily was our go-to dog watcher before she moved to CA and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog watcher! She watched our dog Teddy a dozen times and we were always so happy with her. She loved being with our dog and always took good care of him, even noticing some early symptoms of arthritis in him before we did. She was also responsive if we had any questions or concerns.”
17. Kaitlyn D.

Lena is patient, reliable, and kind - she always delivers! I would recommend her to anyone.”
