About: I currently live in a home with 2 cats and a dog. I’ve professionally dog walked up to 5 dogs simultaneously, on and off leash, as well as dog/house sitting. Im currently working part time so have plenty of time to take care of pets on my days off! And love going on several walks daily, bonus cardio! I have great attention to detail and am fun with the pets but maintain a high professional demeanor - especially when it comes to respecting others homes.

About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

My most meaningful experience came from caring for my senior Chihuahua, whom I rescued from the streets and cared for during the last 5 years of his life. About: I grew up with family cats and dogs and adopted my own puppy at 17 and quickly realized how much work a pet of your own is! I’ve been lucky to live with cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now have a charmer of a big orange cat with my fiancé. I’m comfortable with puppies over 3 months old and mostly potty trained, I don’t mind mouthy or jumpy pups and am happy to discourage behaviors according to their training. I’ve had experience with palliative care for two beloved senior dogs that required a little extra help and care and am happy to show your old buddy patience and TLC. Happy to do easy walks around the block or take longer adventures in Oakland’s redwoods! For cats and dogs I am comfortable administering most medications. About: I would describe myself as an animal lover and have two cats of my own. I'm hoping one day to get a dog, perhaps some birds and chickens too. Is that too much? Pets are the best of friends especially when life seems a bit chaotic. I understand that most people don’t have the time to care for their pets as much as they would like to, whether it’s a busy work schedule or a desperate need for a vacation from it all. I’ll be there to step in for you so your pet has someone to give them attention, treats, walks, and those good scritchy scratchies. I'm taking some time to focus on job searching and personal projects so my schedule is rather flexible to take on some pet care a few times a week. Unfortunately, due to owning two cats of my own, I can not take on other animals in my apartment. I have a reliable mode of transportation, so I can come to the owner's house and easily take them on adventures outside (park, beach, etc) in my car.

About: I’ve been raising a very cute black pug for four years. For some reason, I couldn’t bring him with me and I miss him a lot. I really love dogs, so I’d love to do some dog-related work in my free time. I’m happy to let dogs on the sofa or bed, since I always clean them up after walks to make sure both they and the environment stay clean. I’ve spent time with many different dogs, including some that were initially unfriendly. By offering treats, approaching them slowly, and taking the time to get to know them, I was able to build trust. I’m very patient with dogs! From Monday to Friday, I’m usually out for 2–4 hours a day, but I’m home all day on weekends. During my free time, I’m happy to take dogs out to play. 1. Diet: I carefully control meal portions and feeding times, and always make sure dogs stay hydrated—especially in hot weather. After walks, I wait 5–10 minutes before giving them water. 2. Hygiene: I clean eye discharge promptly and keep both the dogs and their environment clean. 3. Exercise: I walk dogs 2–3 times a day. 30min/walk. 4. Playtime: In my free time, I love playing fetch, tug-of-war, or hide-and-seek with them. 5. Companionship: I spend as much time with them as possible. 6. Safety on walks: Dogs are always leashed outside. I stay alert when they interact with other dogs and separate them immediately if there are signs of aggression. I also make sure they don’t eat things off the ground, and I always clean up after them. 7. Sleeping: I used to sleep with my own dog, so if your dog is used to that, they’re welcome to join me too.
