Shelley sent lots of updates and photos/videos of the fun adventures they had together. Additionally, Shelley was willing to meet up beforehand to make sure Pepper was comfortable. She also arranged playdates with her friend’s corgi who was a perfect playmate for Pepper. Overall, we really enjoyed working with Shelley, and Pepper came back happy and relaxed.”

About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.

“Nikolai and his wife have a lot of experience watching after all breeds and sizes of dogs. My pup stayed with them along a large group of other pups over the holidays and we had an overall good experience with them. I was happy to know that our pup had plenty of friends to be with during his long stay.”
