I’m new to Rover and was hesitant to have someone I don’t know stay in my home for that long but Grace was so kind, trustworthy, and thoughtful. She was very quick to respond to my messages and sent me thorough updates every other day with lots of adorable pictures of her playing with my cats, which made me so happy. My kitten is a ball of energy and is still learning how to navigate the litter box (sometimes she steps in her poop) and required some medication while I was away. Grace had no issues administering the medication, she did an awesome job monitoring the poop situation, and played with her a ton (my kitten is probably disappointed that I came home from my trip 😂). About: I've taken care of many dogs from chihuahua's, poodle mixes, corgi's and pointers. I have the most experience with small dogs but would love to take care of your large pups too! I have experience caring for and feeding medication to senior dogs from Muttville in San Francisco and lived and cared for a very anxious corgi for two years so have a lot of experience navigating and understanding when a dog needs space. I cannot wait to meet your pup! I'm starting grad school in late august so have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available weekdays and weekends for now and will update my schedule once school is back in session. I have a small fenced in yard if the pup needs a quiet enclosed area to play in. Also the fact that she has a large open wonderful dog park literally across the street made it a no-brainer that he'd be able to go to the bathroom frequently and have good interactions with dogs. Lastly, in general she's got a really good nature you can tell she's great with dogs.”

She was available and home with my pups most of the time, very quick and responsive when I messaged her during my trip, sent me LOTS of pictures (which I asked her to do :) and she overall just made leaving my babies so much less stressful. My biggest thing was knowing they were safe and someone was home with them over 4th of July, (my girl is afraid of fireworks). She sent me pictures of her snuggly and relaxed on 4th of July night and her XL fence made me feel very safe with my Great Pyrenees, whom are escape artists. She was cool and ready for the hair and drooling, and even let me drop off at 5AM. Overall, I will be using Shareese again and would highly recommend.”
About: I previously worked at a dog shelter, where I interacted with a range of pups (different breeds, sizes, and needs). From that shelter I adopted my special little (45lbs) girl who was not dog friendly and who needed a certain structure on her walks. As the years went her needs changed, and in March 2026 we lovingly said goodbye, and she crossed the rainbow bridge. What I have taken with me in my many years of experience, and stress to all clients, is that each dog has their needs and each pet parent has learned what is best for their pup. So if that's to spin around 3 times with their food to make sure they eat, or avoid eye contact to help them feel comfortable, or to greet them just outside of their home because they pee with excitement, then that's exactly what I do. (Two of these 3 things are indeed real life doggy needs I've done to accommodate the pup!) I understand the need for shorter walks for seniors, training for puppies, medications at certain times for special cases etc. I have no judgement against muzzles and I know from my own experience that's usually an indication of a careful owner, ensuring their family member is safe. (My baby used to wear a muzzle to the pet store and the vet to ensure she and those around were cared for). I will ask many questions about the routines, to ensure that your family member is the happiest they could possibly be! I currently work full time, however I now that my pup is gone, I have some time to help others. I have some weekend availability, and in November and December will have more time! (As I will not be working those months) I can easily take care of your pup in your home. However I also have an apartment that can host your pup. I have a dog proof apartment but would need to do a few things to make it puppy proof (which I am happy to do so!) I do have a crate, so if they are crate trained that's wonderful! But no big deal if not. The apartment does have a yard, but it is not fenced in, so more likely we would be on leash when outside and we would go to the park near by (not dog park though).
“Kristen and Ryan were very welcoming of our pup! They were understanding of her nuances and helped her adjust to a new environment fast. They have a nice spacious home with a big backyard that our dog loved relaxing in. Kristen and Ryan were very communicative throughout the stay and sent daily updates with photos. 100% recommend!”
