About: I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞 I’m currently a full-time student halfway into my Master’s program to be an Art Therapist. My program is online with a lot of flexibility for visits and walks-great for me and your pup! In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.

About: I have over 6 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds, primarily dogs and cats. Dog breeds I’ve cared for include: German Shepherd, Frenchies, pitties, lab mixes, chihuahuas, terriers, and all of the sweet mixed mutts! I raised a German Shepherd puppy from 8 weeks to almost 3 years old and have lots of experience with puppies, younger dogs, and anxious breeds. I also have experience in puppy training, elderly dog, kitten, and cat care. I have two fat cats myself and have had dogs in the past. If you prefer limited interaction or your dog does better with space, I’m also happy to keep them separate and stick to quiet walks around the building where there’s little to no contact with other dogs. About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. We live in a spacious, pet-friendly 2b2b apartment in Oakland. For your peace of mind, we have a dedicated spare room that is not used by humans, it’s a perfect "private suite" for pets who need their own space, are shy, or require isolation for health or personality reasons.
