“Melina did such a great job drooping in and feeding my elderly cat, Momo. She was prompt with timing and sent lots of pictures and updates. I could tell that Momo really liked her 🥰 would definitely recommend Melina to anyone!!”

“Bryanna did an outstanding job taking care of Mellie. Bryanna was so kind, friendly, and thoughtful when it came to communication. She listened and took notes during our meet up so she’d know exactly what to do. Bryanna fed Mellie her “special foods” as instructed, took time to play with her, and let her have outside time. Also our kitty is normally so shy but Mellie warmed right up to her. Will definitely hire her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Lynn! 👋 Nice to meet you :) If your dog loves fresh air, exploring new paths, and coming home completely tuckered out, they’re going to love hanging out with me. I specialize in outdoor adventures tailored to all shapes and sizes. Whether you have a big, high-energy breed who wants to tackle a multi-mile trail hike, or a smaller pup who prefers a brisk, stimulating neighborhood power-walk, I customize every outing to match your dog's specific stamina, pace, and size. Safety is always my top priority. I’m incredibly mindful of terrain, weather, and hydration, ensuring a tiny Chihuahua gets the same careful attention and safe handling as an enthusiastic German Shepherd. From dealing with the zoomies to offering patient guidance, I treat every dog like family. When your pup is with me, you can expect a reliable schedule, plenty of updates, and a very happy, sleepy dog returned to your doorstep. Let’s get your best friend out on their next great adventure! 🐾 🌳 🌲 🥾 🐕 • Monday through Friday: I am completely free and flexible in the afternoons after 2:00 PM. This is the perfect time for an energetic mid-day break, a long late-afternoon trail walk, or late-day doggy daycare while you finish up your workday. • Weekends (Saturday & Sunday): I have open availability (unless stated otherwise)! My weekends are wide open for extended adventures, daycare, or flexible walking schedules. 🐾 How I Care for Your Dog I provide safe, reliable, and loving care tailored to your dog’s needs. Whether we’re out for a walk, enjoying daycare, or stopping by for a visit, my goal is to keep your pup happy, comfortable, active, and well cared for while you’re away. You’ll always receive updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Ayanna took great care of my 2 cats! She was very responsive, sent videos to check how she gave my cat medication, and lots of photos, I’ll definitely be booking again!”

“Emilia has been great with my cat Mitt! She leaves very detailed info and truly enjoys her time with my cat. Its always nice to feel assured that shes there and reading her energy whether it's to play, cuddle, or give treats.”

About: I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞 I’m currently a full-time student halfway into my Master’s program to be an Art Therapist. My program is online with a lot of flexibility for visits and walks-great for me and your pup! In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.
“Cyvanah was wonderful with my baby boi Hilo. I especially appreciated the multiple photos and summaries of each day from Cyvanah. It put my mind at ease and I looked forward to each update while away. She bonded with my kitton spectacularly and he was cuddling on her lap in no time. She has a way with cats and I would trust Cyvanah with any fur baby of mine. She is professional, punctual and a great communicator.”

About: I have over 6 years of experience caring for pets of all kinds, primarily dogs and cats. Dog breeds I’ve cared for include: German Shepherd, Frenchies, pitties, lab mixes, chihuahuas, terriers, and all of the sweet mixed mutts! I raised a German Shepherd puppy from 8 weeks to almost 3 years old and have lots of experience with puppies, younger dogs, and anxious breeds. My pet care experience includes dog walking, providing play & social skills time, feeding, and pet sitting. I have experience taking dogs to vet appointments, administering oral and topical medications, and following owner care instructions. I primarily work with youth during the week but I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to provide quality care to your pets as you share is needed! I can pet sit as requested as well. I value my client’s trust and will strictly adhere to the care guidelines that you provide. I always take extra care to make sure your pet is safe and away from harm. This means I’m mindful when walking your dog around the neighborhood, keeping an eye on other dogs, people, and cars, ensure gates and doors are always locked and closed, and keep away food or chemicals that are unsafe. I’ll always be clean and a respectful guest in your home!
“She was so communicative and friendly! My cat adored her. Checking in every step of the way even asking additional questions to make sure my pet was in the best situation possible. Highly recommend, when joining Rover I never thought I would have this good of experience. I am thankful for her.”

“Jessica is wonderful! She sends great photos with the Rover card. To my surprise, I received a photo of my normally shy, skittish cat cuddling up in her lap - it made me so happy! Will certainly rebook. Great communication & I can tell that my cats are well taken care of when I’m away.”

I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play with your babies! My schedule is flexible and adjustable. Perfect for babies that have special needs or restrictions. I have a 2 bedroom home that has plenty of space for pets that need to their own space or need social time with others
“Melissa was very easy to communicate and clearly cared about our cats, playing and sending a lot of great photos. We recommend Melissa for taking care of your pets while you are away”

“Cynthia did two drop visits in one day with my sweet Edwyn pup. She kept me updated each step of the way and left my keys in the proper spot. I especially appreciated her photos and walk summaries. Thank you, Cynthia!”

“Christine is just terrific. She takes the time to play and finds the shy cat for a photo under the bed. Kitties were in good spirits too. We are very happy to have her come care for our precious kitties again.”

“Alyssa was so great with my two cats. She had excellent communication, reliable, and super friendly! I really appreciated her willingness to coordinate a meet and greet with my mother while I was away, and would highly highly recommend her for any one needing a cat sitter. My girls loved her!”

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over 8 years, and caring for pups has always been a natural part of my life. My current dog, Sage, is a sweet and energetic 2-year-old who is fully crate-trained and comfortable going in and out of his crate as needed—so I’m familiar with maintaining structure while still keeping things stress-free and flexible for your dog. I’m patient, attentive, and truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality. Whether your pup needs a calm environment, extra playtime, or a little help sticking to their routine, I’m happy to accommodate. I can follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications, reinforce crate training, and provide plenty of walks, cuddles, and photos so you always feel connected. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every pet like family, and I want you to feel confident that your pup is in loving, reliable hands while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your fur baby! I do work full-time, but I’m off one weekday and one weekend day each week. Because my schedule rotates, the best way to know my exact availability is to send me a quick message—I’m always happy to check and see if I’m a good fit for your needs. I’m open to booking sits any day of the week, and I’m especially available for walks, drop-ins, or longer stays on my days off. If your pup needs consistency, structure, or flexible timing, I’ll do my best to accommodate. Just reach out and we’ll find what works! Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I have a separate crate available so your pup can have their own space, and I walk dogs individually to ensure everyone feels calm and secure. There’s a dog park right across the street, and if your dog is friendly and you’re comfortable with it, we can enjoy some supervised playtime there. If you prefer limited interaction or your dog does better with space, I’m also happy to keep them separate and stick to quiet walks around the building where there’s little to no contact with other dogs. Whatever your pup’s needs or personality, I’m committed to providing a safe, controlled, and positive environment.

I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. The pet parents I work with know their pets best, and I take their guidance and wishes very seriously. When I'm housesitting, I treat clients' homes with even more respect than I treat my own.

“Thomas has stepped in to help me after my dog suffered a surprise bout of IVDD. When I come home my puppers seem happy and well cared just as if they had been with me all day. I appreciate Thomas's experience with senior dogs and bladder expression. That was really important to me in my search for support. You can't go wrong with this Rover, friends. 12 stars!”

Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my 2 kitties. One is quite shy so she gave me updates on his whereabouts, while the other is extremely friendly and I got loads of cute photo updates on him. Appreciate her taking this request last minute! Would absolutely book again! Thanks!!!

Sarah’s amazing! My dog Jack was immediately obsessed with her (he likes everyone but LOVED Sarah). Sarah’s extremely easy to work with, super kind, communicative and knows animals extremely well. Jack has animal reactivity and she was extremely well-versed in this and equipped on how to handle that. Separately, she even deep cleans!!! I don’t know a better combo than someone who’s a dog whisperer and enjoys deep cleaning, but I’m really grateful to have met Sarah

Another amazing experience with Kathy! She always arrives right on time and provides such detailed, attentive care. We especially love the updates and the beautiful pictures she sends, they really give us peace of mind while we’re away. Most importantly, our cat absolutely loves her, which says everything. It’s clear she truly cares. We’re so grateful to have someone we can trust like Kathy!

Eleanna has been dropping in on my border collie Moxie weekly for about a month now and she has been amazing! She is very responsive to my last minute requests, great bios and pictures on Rover cards, always on time, and I can tell she is very caring. Moxie always looks so happy to see her, we will be using her again!

Kaiya was great! She cleaned up after some unexpected accidents with our senior pup and kept us up to date on all things pups while we were out of town. She let me know if she was running late or needed to adjust the time of the drop in and sent pics of the pups so we knew they were doing well. Definitely recommend her! Thanks Kaiya!

Ayanna was the perfect pick for my boy’s first Rover! She provided many excellent photos and videos with each visit along with details on his mood, energy level, what he was up to, etc. She was super friendly, easy going, and just as chill as my old man. Highly recommend her stellar sitting services!

Meli, was super responsive and flexible. We enjoyed meeting her for a quick walk through before our trip. Our cat is typically a scaredy cat and runs away from strangers, but she was curious and open to meet Meli. I think her calming presence put her at ease. We have a regular sitter but she wasn’t available and we had to scramble last minute. Meli was a great surprise. Would book again if needed.

Reijun is detail oriented, meticulously neat, and sweet to my 2 cats! She took notes during our meet & greet to make sure she didn't miss any instructions. The cats were happy and our home was neat when we returned from our trip. Would definitely book her again!
