She was excellent at providing constant photo updates, following instructions, and engaging with him. He hasn't been feeling well lately, so we have been requiring more recent drop-in checks and Magdalena has been very accommodating with scheduling.”

“Hikaru is a responsible and lovely person. She previously watched my 50-pound husky (Luna) for several days while I was out-of-town. I met with Hikaru a few times before she watched Luna. I could quickly tell from both her personality and her behavior towards myself and Luna that she is very responsible. I provided Hikaru with all of Luna's stuff (food, water bottle, leash, etc), a summary of her daily habits, and instructions on meals. Hikaru read them and instead of guessing, she asked questions within a few hours to make sure that she is properly taking care of Luna the way I wanted. She texted me pictures of Luna several times, one of which included an 8-mile hike (perfect for an active 1-year-old husky). When I returned home to pick up Luna, Hikaru was jogging with Luna. If I had to choose my top two most valued characteristics of Hikaru, it would definitely be her love for dogs and strong sense of responsibility. I would definitely ask Hikaru to dog sit for me again.”

About: I've worked with animals of all sizes and species. I used to work at a farm animal sanctuary where I worked with birds, goats, pigs and rabbits. I've also had rabbits for 10 years now and have experience with all kinds of medical problems. I am comfortable giving meds and sub q fluids when needed. I have rabbits, cats and chickens myself so I am most experienced with them, but love all animals! My animals rule my whole life. Most of the time I am home with them when I'm not working. They are my family and I love them more than anything. I am able to do stop in visits or hang out for a little while with them. I am always cleaning at my place, so I don't mind cleaning and can change litter boxes or clean up messes while you're away.
