From Friday evening through Sunday, we are ready to focus on spending quality time outdoors and giving your pet all the care, love, and attention they deserve! In our home, we have a secure fenced yard for your pup to enjoy outdoor playtime and a dedicated room for a comfortable night’s rest. We’re also close to beautiful parks like Lake Merritt and Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park, where we love to go on weekend hikes. About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

Walks, hikes, trips to Berkeley Marina, feeding, play, medications and lots of cuddling. Enclosed yard, single story single family home, no kids, non-smoking house, furniture and carpets all dog friendly, nice residential area in Berkeley. Access to outdoors all day.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life and have cared for cats, kittens, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, and rats all along the way! I approach all animals with gentle curiosity and patience, and have experience caretaking for animals with disabilities. I have a flexible schedule and work from home! I am able to drive to any location within 8 miles of Lake Merritt. I am not doing overnight visits at this time. I only offer care for pets in their home at the moment. However I am happy to take your pet on a walk around your neighborhood or mine! (I live by Lake Merritt)
