“Tamara took such good care of our pup who has a lot of separation anxiety. He had so much fun playing with her dogs and came back so tired and happy. I’m sure our dog can’t wait to go back!”

“Chad took excellent care of my young and energetic greyhound with a lot of separation anxiety. When I picked her up she was happy and excited, but she didn’t show any signs of distress. Prior to my dog’s stay at his home Chad had invited us over for a meet&greet and he took a lot of time to inquire about my dog’s character and behaviors, which made me very confident that things would be alright. Chad was also willing to accommodated my travel schedule. I am happy with the experience and hope he will be available next time I have to go out of town.”

“Krishna and her partner provided excellent care, attention and affection for my husky during my stay in S.F. They brought their sweet dog Milo out for meet and greet, all went well and my dog had a great stay. Highly recommended!”

“I had a great experience with Korin! I left Maru with her for a few hours while we went out for a late dinner. Our dinner ran a little longer than expected, but she was so understanding and patient. We really appreciated their flexibility and kindness. Would definitely book with them again! ❤️”

About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. Calm, trust and safety are my top priorities. I hope you give me the chance to connect with you and your fur baby/ babies. I work from home. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. I have a fenced yard, Herita is spayed and loves to play with other dogs. Her bff is a 3 y/o Doberman. Which I take care of a couple of times a week (take her out on walks and feed her)

“Lynn is so attentive and kind. Would highly recommend!! She sent so many photos, went on a long hike with my high energy dog, and my dog came home exhausted I know she had a blast.”

“I cannot recommend Andre highly enough! From the meet and greet, it was clear he was a true dog lover and incredibly professional. He took wonderful care of our dog Charlie, and provided updates with photos. It was such a relief he was in such good hands. We will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend him!”

About: Hello dog lovers! I grew up with a yellow lab and have been an animal lover my entire life. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I truly believe pets bring a special kind of love into a home and make it feel complete. I’d be honored to care for your dog while you’re away, so you can relax and enjoy your time knowing your beloved pet is safe, happy, and in loving hands. My schedule is currently open! I am flexible and willing to work with you to suit your pets needs. I am located in Fruitvale in Oakland. I have 2 adult cats in my home currently. I have a fenced backyard and many parks nearby that are great for a dog stroll!
About: I have been caring for pets my entire life. I have always had at least two or three cats and dogs or two. I have raised puppies and cared for elderly pets. I have cared for diabetic cats and dogs with cancer. I understand the importance of following pet parents instructions when caring for other’s animals because each pet has very different needs. I am free right now all days but Tuesday which is when I attend classes at SFSU. I am free for dogs walks or dog sitting all days but Tuesday as long as I have a days notice. I live in an apartment with no yard right now down the street from lake Merrit. There is a dog park just 1 block down the street with a fence that I will walk dogs down to 4-8 times a day depending on the needs of the dog. We do have a large apartment and very pet friendly environment.
About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. I have a fenced in yard and several rooms of my house can be sectioned off to allow for large spaces to hang out, if the dog needs it's own space. I also have plenty of room to set up a crate. I do not have any pets. I would love to get a dog, but I travel to Vancouver 4 times a year to visit my mom in long term care and occasionally I have to travel for a week or more for work and I don't want to leave a pet for that long. My partner goes to the office Monday - Friday.
“Asha has been amazing with my pup, Rahi. She communicates super well and genuinely loves dogs. I get pictures and videos through the day and I’m so much at peace leaving my Rahi with her. Highly, highly recommend!!”

About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel stressful. We take that responsibility seriously and will care for them like one of our own.
“Meera took great care of my mini poodle puppy. She took him for a walk and paid special attention to his needs as a puppy who is too rambunctious at times. Meera was great to interact with because she is kind and thoughtful. I recommend her highly!”

About: I managed a pet sitting service for 4 years with more than 400 clients and owned my own pet sitting service for 2 years, providing above and beyond pet care: dog walking, boarding, overnight house sitting, cat sitting, and other small pet care. I'm trained in insulin injections and skilled at applying ear drops, administering pills, and other basic daily medicinal needs. I also take great pictures of your pets and provide detailed notes while you're away! As a pet owner myself, I know first hand how hard it is to leave your pets at home. If I am to stay at your home, I can also take care of daily house duties like rotating lights, bringing in mail/packages, and watering plants. (I'm a skilled plant owner as well!) I'm trained in pet CPR and first aid and am skilled at recognizing dog behavioral cues. While I'm not a trainer, I'm happy to work with your dog on existing commands and basic commands. I have a very flexible, remote job and will prioritize your pet and it's needs! I take my own dog for hikes and play dates 3-4 times a week (on top of regular walks!) and look forward to having your dog join our pack! I have a two dogs of my own and your pup must get along with mine. I do provide a crate should your dog prefer that in my home. We have a fenced in yard for late night outs. We have plenty of toys to share and can easily manage any food resource issues.

To make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved when you are away. Since my husband and I both work from home, our schedules are flexible. This means your dog will have constant companionship throughout the day. A typical day includes: Outdoor playtime at various parks, 3 dedicated walks, and lots of snuggles. We love sending a daily photo and updates, so you can see how much fun your furry family member is having. We live in a large 2,000 sq ft apartment with lots of room for your pet to roam. About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. I currently have a dog of my own and understand just how much our pets mean to us—they’re family. When I moved my dad to California so I could become his full-time caregiver, bringing his dog with us was never a question. He’s an important part of our family and daily life. I previously had another beloved dog from the age of 13 through 27, giving me experience with puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. I’m comfortable providing patient, attentive care and making sure each dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. As someone who genuinely loves animals, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, or simply some extra companionship, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I give my own. Pet care is already a natural part of my daily routine. I currently care for my own dog, so daily walks, feeding, playtime, and making sure he gets plenty of attention are already built into my schedule. Because I have a flexible schedule right now, I’m able to provide pets with extra attention, companionship, and care throughout the day rather than just fitting them in between other commitments. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in visit, or keeping a pet company while their owner is away, I enjoy making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I believe every pet is happiest when their routine stays as consistent as possible. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any household rules. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise while their owners are away. For walks and drop-in visits, I prioritize safety, communication, and making sure each pet’s individual needs are met. I understand that every animal has a different personality and comfort level, so I take the time to build trust and help them feel secure. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet, and I treat every animal as if they were my own.
About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
“Milo loved Haylee! He even shared his favorite toy with her. Haylee is awesome - she kept me updated and sent me lots of great pics of their adventures! Will certainly be asking for her help again! Milo will be excited to see her.”

I’m also a pet parent myself — my 1-year-old pup and 9-year-old cat are both incredibly friendly with people and other animals and absolutely love making new friends. They’re always excited to welcome new furry guests! 🐕🐈 I believe pet sitting is so much more than just filling a food bowl twice a day — it’s about being real company for your pet. Surrounded by cozy blankets, their favorite toys from home, and plenty of love, your pet will feel comfortable and right at ease from the moment they arrive. I’m happy to provide multiple daily walks and plenty of undivided attention throughout the day!
“Sharon is incredible! Very proactive with update, and took wonderful care of our little guy. She was patient with him and that he’s still just a puppy and his potty training. Really appreciate all her grace, we felt very comfortable leaving our fur baby with her!”

“Our dog absolutely loved staying with Kate, Chris, and their family! They have a great backyard and gave her lots of hikes, playtime, and snuggles. We are so happy that our dog was treated like family while we were away.”

“Nasreddine was wonderful with Luna! She made pickup and dropoff super easy, stayed communicative throughout, and sent photos of Luna looking happy and relaxed. I felt totally at ease knowing Luna was in great hands and would happily book with her again.”

“Stephanie is an incredible sitter who continues to play a big role in Otis’s development. After a stay with her pack, Otis always returns happy and well-socialized. She provides thoughtful, consistent updates that make us feel connected and reassured while we’re away - even continuing his learning by incorporating some of his latest training and commands. It’s clear she genuinely cares about Otis and tailors each stay to support his growth and happiness. We’re so thankful!”

“Caroline was a super canine vacation host! She sends daily activity messages, pics and comments at days end. She even does follow up work after ... She helped me with trainer etc... highly recommended. Drew miller”
“Natasha took good care of Kona and gave us a detailed update multiple times with photos for the night we had Kona over at hers. She understood his personality and was able to help him get familiar with his new environment quick and be a snuggle buddy that he is. Sage was also friendly and got along with him as we saw them going on walks together on the photos. Loved it for Kona that he got to experience Sage and his mama! Kona will for sure be back. Thanks Natasha!”

About: I offer a quieter, more individualized kind of dog sitting. I only take dogs from one household at a time, so your dog won’t be sharing the space with a rotating group of other dogs. That allows me to give them a lot of individual attention and to keep their routine as familiar as possible. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and a therapist in training, so being reliable and observant is a big part of my professional life. I’m also very conscientious about following your instructions closely. I know how much the little details matter, and I make a point of keeping track of feeding schedules, medications, walks, sleeping arrangements, and the routines that help your dog feel at home. I have firsthand experience caring for an anxious dog who later developed dementia and physical limitations. Because of that, I’m especially comfortable with senior dogs and dogs who are sensitive or easily overwhelmed. I understand how much patience and consistency can matter when a dog needs extra support. I’m especially available on weekends, when I can spend plenty of time with your dog rather than fitting visits around a packed schedule. Depending on their personality and energy level, we might have a quiet day at home, take neighborhood walks, or head out to places like Piedmont Park, the Albany Bulb, or the beach. I want your dog to feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away, and I want you to feel completely confident that someone is really paying attention to them. Pet care fits best into my schedule on weekends, when I have plenty of time to give dogs attention, walks, companionship, and a relaxed home environment. I’m generally available from Friday evening through Sunday and can often accommodate weekend boarding or daytime care. During the week I work a regular professional schedule, so I’m intentional about only accepting bookings when I know I can provide the time and attention a pet needs. When a dog is staying with me, I want them to be part of my routine rather than squeezed into it. I take safety and trust seriously and make a point of following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. In my home, I provide a calm, comfortable environment and make sure dogs have appropriate supervision, regular walks and potty breaks, fresh water, and plenty of attention. I’m careful about feeding instructions, medications, leash safety, and any behavioral or health concerns you share with me. I also like to know about a dog’s personality, triggers, routines, and preferences ahead of time so I can help them feel comfortable and settled. If I’m caring for a pet in your home, I’m respectful of your space and follow your instructions closely. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you’re away.
