About: I’ve been around dogs since i was a little girl, i have two senior pets of my own, 15 and 12 years old! a chihuahua and a yorkie mix, and one who is up in heaven. with my senior babies i have learned when to be delicate and when they want to play, I taught my senior chihuahua how to sit and give a paw (even though he’s got a couple screws loose) its not much at all, but its a big achievement for him! with your doggies i would love to learn everything, from favorite treats to favorite routes to walk in! i will adjust my schedule to you and your pets needs! i try my best to be extremely flexible as i know that life just happens sometimes. In regards to caring for your babies, their safety and comfort is my first priority, i would like for them to be comfortable with me instead of your pets being scared, for senior dog care i understand completely the hassle of being careful and the accidents that come along (im an excellent cleaner thanks to my senior dogs) with cats and younger dogs i find i adapt quickly with new environments with the help of you and instructions, i will most likely ask a bunch of questions and it will be only in regards of your pets, everything goes the same with cats! if you would like a drop in i’d be happy to negotiate a time and place! i forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

About: I have four cats of my own, so I’m very familiar with feline behavior and attentive to their needs. I’ll make sure your fur baby gets the space, comfort, and companionship they need to feel safe and secure while you’re away. I work as a banker during the day, so your cats will be at my home while I’m at work. My availability for drop off and pick up is a bit limited; I'm usually free on weekdays after 6 PM, Saturdays after 2 PM, and all day Sunday. I may be available at other times as well, so don’t hesitate to reach out and ask! 😊 Depending on your cat’s needs, they can either have a private space in my bedroom, separate from my other cats, or they’re welcome to explore the house freely. I typically spend the first hour or so with your cat in the bathroom to help them get comfortable with me. Introductions to my cats are done slowly and under supervision over the first few days, based on each cat’s personality, needs, and comfort level. The safety of all cats is my top priority.

About: Animals have always been a big part of my life. I've cared for pets of all sizes: from large malamutes and energetic huskies to cats, rabbits, fish, and even turtles. I have experience with a wide variety of personalities, temperaments, and care needs, and I take pride in following your care instructions exactly as requested. If your pet requires a specialized diet, medication, extra patience, or simply their favorite play routine, I'll make sure they receive the attentive care they deserve. During visits, I'll provide plenty of attention and playtime, keep food and water fresh, clean litter boxes, tidy up any messes, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I work from home most days of the week and have a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks throughout the day to make time for your pet. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible and make them safe and reduce stress while you're away. I'll let them take the lead as we get to know each other.

About: I grew up with dogs and believe in building a relationship with each animal I meet. I have experience navigating walks with strong, reactive and aggressive dogs. I am very physically active and if needed, can push your four legged friend to keep them happy and in shape! Leisurely walks are also lovely. I believe our pets need to be treated with the upmost care and respect, its a two way relationship and I really value the ways I learn and grow with each animal I meet. I do not have any pets of my own right now so I really cherish any animal time I get. I can accommodate your scheduling needs as I work part time for a nonprofit and have flexibility in my schedule. I prefer to schedule further in advance for repeat walks, but am able to do last minute arrangements as well! I am responsive and in tune to the needs of your pet whether that be frequent time outside, variation in play or rest time and making sure they are comfortable at bedtime. I know that animals respond to energy and vice versa so I keep a calm energy around animals. It's really important to me to learn as much about your pet from you so I can be prepared to care for them.

About: I bring patience, consistency, and real love for animals to every walk or visit. I grew up around dogs and have experience caring for both high-energy puppies and senior dogs who need a slower, gentler touch. I’m mainly an actor and does filming so I have a lot of free time to walk and take care of animals. Getting my daily steps in with pets is something I love to do I treat pets and homes with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. Every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs — from feeding schedules and potty breaks to their favorite toys and walk routes. Walks aren’t something I rush through—I’m happy to let your dog sniff, explore, get some exercise and enjoy being outside. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable following your dog’s particular routine, whether that means a brisk walk, a leisurely neighborhood sniffari, playtime or just some extra company and affection. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own—even though I’m still waiting for one of my own! My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can accommodate weekday and weekend visits and walks, including daytime hours when many people are at work. I’m happy to work around your pet’s established routine and give them the time and attention they’re accustomed to. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and access to your home—is a big deal. I’m mature, dependable, communicative and respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions carefully, pay attention to changes in behavior, and know how to stay calm if something unexpected happens. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with patience, kindness and affection.
