About: My pet care experience includes looking after cats, dogs, fish, and hamsters. I'm happy to maintain litter boxes, take dogs on long walks and play fetch, spend time with cats, administer pills and medications to any animal (even if they are not excited about it), and provide pets and scritches whenever needed I'm currently working 8-4:30 with open availability every early morning, evening, and weekend from now until June 6! During the summers, my availability will be completely open! I am experienced caring for pets in other people's homes, but unfortunately not in my own because I have two rescued cats of my own. I love taking dogs on walks, feeding and spending time with cats, and looking after all types of animals in your home!
“Bryan took great care of my dogs and my home. I could tell my dogs were so happy when I returned home and he was a great guest, even changing my sheets for me when he left. He helped with some errands too. So appreciate you Bryan!”

“Jack was very professional and helpful. He took initiative to be informed about the ins and outs of the gig and was highly communicative through to the end. My cat seemed very pleased with him as well. 10/10 would rehire.”

“Daria did an amazing job watching our puppy, Bento! She followed all the instructions and gave Bento many cuddles & lots of play time. I’ll be booking with her again!”

“Natalia has taken excellent care of my reactive dog, Teddy. She genuinely cares about my dog, and he is excited to see her too. He requires very specific introductions & hand-offs, and has some reactivity while walking, and Natalia worked with everything in stride. She has stayed with Teddy at least three times now, and each time she has communicated very well and sends photos regularly, and my house is in great condition when I get home.”

“Michelle was absolutely fabulous! She was able to watch my two dogs on very short notice while I was in Oakland to visit family. My dogs loved her! She took great care of them, taking them on multiple walks throughout the day and providing attention when needed. She we be the first person I reach out to when I am in the Oakland area again. Thank you Michelle!”

“Nicole took such great care of my dog while I was out. From the initial booking request through the end of her stay, she responded quickly and provided updates and photos. I returned home to a clean house and of course, a happy and relaxed dog. I would not hesitate to hire Nicole again in the future.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I have seen pets through life from young to elderly, providing medications and cleaning up countless messes. Nothing will surprise me. I attune to pet personalities well: I love snuggling with the snuggly ones, take care around skittish ones, and everything in between. I am punctual and respectful of your time and space. I’m currently working part-time from home and I am available on short notice to provide care for your loved ones. I am quick to respond and can travel within the East Bay comfortably. I provide loving care in the form of house and pet-sitting, dog walking, feeding, medications, play time, snuggling, and more. I am a highly attuned individual, so I will learn your pet’s needs and meet them where they are at. I work comfortably with pets with boundaries, aggression, skittishness, and other high needs. As a house and pet-sitter, I always leave the home exactly as I found it. I respect your property and make your pet’s safety the highest priority. I will follow your guidelines to the letter and I’m happy to send you pictures to help your mind be at ease.
“So grateful for Emma’s help taking care of Kofa. Emma’s was timely, communicative, and checked in with me around preferences and needs. Will continue to book with Emma in the future.”

“Angelique was flexible, communicative, and super loving with our dogs. She was willing to come walk/meet the dogs prior and get to know them and our house. Her messages during the trip were informative, reassuring and had pics to make it easy to know our pups were doing well. We’ll definitely be adding her to who we reach out to for future trips. Thank you!”

About: I’ve fostered and volunteered with a wide variety of animals over the last 10 years including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and farm animals. I’ve worked with a variety of ages (neonatal to senior), treated a variety of medical conditions (requiring medications, injections, and inhalers), and cared for animals of all temperaments (dog reactive, anxious, etc.) I’m currently a full time student at Berkeley Law but I’m usually on campus for only 5 or so hours a day. During the summer, I will be working remotely. On weekends, I am available all day. I will ensure that your pet stays in their usual routine while providing them plenty of love and attention. I will respect the animals boundaries in your home and build trust by creating a safe environment while you are gone.
“Nicky did a great job watching both our house and our sensitive Catahoula hound! Our dog has not done well when we have kenneled her previously, so we thought she would be better off at home while we left on a 10 day trip. We were very anxious about our dog, but Nicky really put our minds at ease after our first meeting weeks before we left, and she followed through by providing great care while we were gone. Nicky sent thorough updates with photos and also bought our dog a new toy and some treats, which was going above and beyond. We were mostly concerned with our dog's well-being while we were gone, but she was also respectful of our home and took good care of everything. We will definitely contact Nicky the next time we need a house/dogsitter!”

“A HUGE Thank You to Eleanna! She was incredibly flexible with our schedules, took great care with our Xiao Xiao, very communicative and just an overall sweetheart which made our time even better. We felt at ease and that’s so important. Absolutely booking her again!”

“Alondra was a MAGNIFICENT pet, plant, and home sitter! My very, very, very shy cat quickly came to trust and enjoy her kind, patient presence for which I am deeply grateful. Alondra was so easy and pleasant to work with; very good communications and support. She left the household happily alive and all things clean. I’m so grateful for Alondra. She’s the best! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Valerie has great communication and took good care of our mini poodle and pit mix. She also stayed at our home and took great care of our place. Highly recommend her for dog / house sitting.”

“Savannah was amazing. From booking until the time we got home she made us feel secure and confident in our decision to go with a house sitter for our boy. She sent photos throughout and we felt comfortable with the open communication throughout our stay away. Have another trip coming up and will be teaching back out to her! So grateful.”

“Chelsie was great! She was very communicative - send questions, updates, and pictures of our doggo while we were away for 12 days. She also left our house very clean! I will definitely use her again for all of our dog watching/home stay vacation needs in the future!”

“Christopher is dependable, sends great photos and communications about what is happening while I'm away. I was completely at ease while Chris was sitting for Jojo, and my home looked the same as I'd left. I look forward to continuing to work with Chris in the future.”

“Rover review - Feb 14-15, 2026 Responsible, trustworthy, tidy, conscientious, funny, accommodating, and highly communicative, I would absolutely book Qishu again in future. Our kitties took to her right away (even our skittish one). We were only away for 1 night but Qishu sent frequent text updates throughout the day, which put us at ease so we could enjoy our time away. She takes great pics and videos, in which we could tell our girls were being very well taken care of and appreciated, and not missing us in the least. In less than 24 hours Qishu managed to play with our high-energy 8-month old to the point of getting her tired enough to pant (as requested), and to gain the trust of our skittish 1-year old, enough to be petted until she was purring and rolling around on the floor, showing belly. This was not requested nor expected; even our closest friends (who our cats have known since they were kittens) haven’t been able to get that close to her! Qishu went the extra mile without our asking, and the results were incredible. When we got home, Cricket and Jiji were happy and relaxed, as if we had never left at all. The house was clean and in order. We have some more travel dates later this year and are crossing our fingers that we will be able to have Qishu look after our girls again. 🤞🏼 Thanks Qishu! You rock! 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼”

Victoria apartment-sat with Snowy for three days and was absolutely on top of everything from walks to treats to cuddle time. Provided a lot of comfort and confidence that my 3yr old corgi would be well taken care of. Look forward to her and Snowy hanging out again.

Shareese was a huge help with our elderly dog while we were away. Our dog was having a hard time with age-related changes and Shareese provided such calm and compassionate care. She was patient in all our communication and helped us figure out how to keep our dog feeling comfortable. We are so grateful to have found her and for the peace of mind she gave us.

Sarah was awesome. She took care of my high maintenance blind, senior dog for three days while I was out of town. She handled his many medications and followed my detailed instructions for his care completely. She even moved my car into the garage for me when I needed it, and my home was spotless upon return. She is very professional and very thorough. And is especially skilled with sr/diabled dogs. I will for sure book her again for help with my lil guy.

Robyn came and took care of my older cat with an illness for 1 week. My cat, Nyx, requires medicine twice a day and lots of cuddle time which Robyn provided equally. It was the second booking ive made with Robyn. Again everything was great, and my cat was happy and healthy upon my return. Highly reccomend! Robyn a great! Thank you!!!!

I have never used Rover before and Erin by far exceeded every expectation I had. We had her stay with our newly adopted dog for two nights and our dog loved her. We had our neighbors help out before and our dog wouldn't let them near her, but with Erin, our dog was her sweet self. Erin was punctual and made me feel at ease right away. She also left our house just as we left it. I would highly recommend Erin for any pet sitting needs.

We could not be more pleased with the excellence of Eleanna's cat care. We returned to two happy and healthy cats and a tidy home. She handled a complex feeding routine complete with medications. My cats love to play, one loves to eat and one resists eating, and most importantly, they want a lap. Eleanna provided all this and lots of photos along with the way. We found her to be intelligent, kind, and patient; even staying later into the night when our flight placed us way behind schedule. I also appreciated her willingness to ask questions to make sure she got things right. I'm grateful for a vacation with peace of mind.

Elisabeth is kind, responsive, and provides the highest level of care for pets - she is better than we ever imagined a sitter on Rover could be! We will without question be requesting Elisabeth again to care for our cat while we are away. She gave us such a peace of mind that our cat was in great hands that we will consider adjusting our travel plans to ensure that Elisabeth is available to care for our cat. We were a bit nervous to leave our super senior cat with very specific medical needs, but Elisabeth quickly helped us relax into vacation mode! She took the most amazing care of our sweet cat - giving her daily medications (oral, topical, and injections). Elisabeth sent daily updates - including weighing how much food our cat ate (just like we do) so we had accurate data to provide to our vet. She purchased supplies that would help us dispense a new medication easier. Elisabeth also left our home in pristine condition - she even washed the sheets and made the bed before leaving.

Marian was wonderful with my three cats! She got along well with them and was great about regular updates/pics. My trio can get pretty rambunctious, but Marian was so great about making time for their morning, afternoon, and even bonus playtimes, which kept them in the best spirits. I would certainly book her again and highly recommend her!
