About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. Growing up in Serbia, I was always the person my friends and family could rely on when their pets needed someone to look after them. Whether it was walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, taking care of dogs has always come naturally to me. I recently graduated from UC Berkeley and now work in soccer coaching here in the Bay Area. My schedule gives me plenty of free time during the day, and there was one thing I realized I was really missing — my dog back home in Serbia! 🐶 Since having my own dog here isn’t quite possible for me right now, I thought: what better way to combine my free time with something I genuinely love than helping take care of other people’s dogs? I’m active, responsible, patient, and very comfortable around dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I’ll treat your dog like I would want someone to treat mine — with lots of attention, affection, exercise, and care. And selfishly, they’ll probably make my day just as much as I make theirs. ❤️ Pet care fits naturally around my soccer-coaching schedule. I work weekdays from 5:30–7:00 p.m. and weekends from 10:00–11:30 a.m., with availability outside those hours for walks, drop-ins, day care, boarding, and house sitting. We’ll agree on exact visit times, drop-offs, and your pet’s routine before booking. For overnight or day care, please keep those short work commitments in mind so we can make sure your dog’s needs are a good fit. My dog Koko lives in Serbia, and I currently have no dog living with me in the Bay Area. I want your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while you’re away. Before a booking, I like to discuss their routine, behavior around other dogs, feeding instructions, and any special needs. For care in my home, we’ll review the household setup and arrange a meet-and-greet so everyone is comfortable. In your home, I’ll respect your space and follow your care and access instructions. On walks, I’ll use your dog’s usual leash and equipment, pay attention to their comfort, and keep you updated.

About: I believe that dogs should be allowed to be dogs and walks should go at their pace, with plenty of time to sniff, since that’s how dogs explore and burn off mental energy. I have fostered over a dozen young puppies from the Oakland Animal Shelter, which has thought me how to read dog's body language: if your dog is nervous, overexcited, or ready for a break, I’ll pick up on the small signs and adjust before it becomes a problem. My schedule is flexible right now, so I can plan around your dog’s routine instead of fitting them into mine. Pet care is already a big part of my day with my own dog, so walks, feeding, and playtime are just how our household runs. Your dog’s routine is my starting point, so please share as much detail as you like: meal times and amounts, favorite walk routes, how they settle in at night, and the little quirks only you know about. I’m very detail-oriented and I thrive on routines, so I’ll follow theirs as closely as I can and hold myself to the same standard I do with my own dog. On drop-ins at your home, I’ll take care of food, water, potty breaks, and any meds, leave time for some attention, and send you photos. Dogs who stay with me get supervised time in the fenced backyard and a quiet room of their own to sleep in.

I've grown up with dogs my whole life and have watched dogs for others for a very long time as well. My daily routine is very active, and pet care fits naturally into my schedule. I spend a lot of my time walkiing, running, and working out so I'm use to staying outdoors and staying on the move. I have a flexible schedule and plenty availability for walks, drop-ins, and playtime throughout my day. I have a fenced yard and a crate if needed but going on a walks, runs, to a park or staying at a clients house is preferred.

About: Through having dogs myself, dog walking, and taking care of friends dogs for the past 9 years I have experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs. In the past year I have adopted the sweetest dog named Cariño, a 35 pound terrier mix, and have cared for them through their puppy stages and now into adulthood! I primarily have experience with dogs weighing 10-60 pounds and dogs of all ages. I'm good at taking control of a situation and can also understand when a dog is scared, upset, or just needs a break. I have a car so I can come to you and live walking distance from Lake Merritt. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to go on hikes, walks, or check in on your pup! I am flexible during weekdays and am unavailable on weekends currently. I have experience raising my own currently one and a half year dog. I can easily crate your dog and leave them well-rested. I do not let dogs go outside unleashed unless there are specific instructions to do so. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule so I am happy to make things work with your pet needs whether it's morning, middle of the day, or early evenings. I am not accepting pets in my home because we have a dog and a cat who are a bit sensitive to other pet friends.

About: I’ve been sitting and training dogs since I graduated high school, unfortunately growing up I didn’t usually have one, so providing services as an adult has been a healthy outlet to allow me to interact and train with all types of animals. I’m currently in school full time but all my classes are online so my schedule has still been relatively flexible for sitting and boarding dogs. Since I’m a full-time student, my Rover calendar is updated to work with my in-person class and clinic shifts. That said, many families are comfortable having my partner, Ian, join when he’s available—which allows for a little more flexibility with scheduling. It’s a wonderful setup because Ian works from home (and is basically a dog at heart!), so your pets will almost always have company and care.
