“Victoria was the best! She sent pictures daily and was extremely communicative. Our pets were well cared for! We will 100% be asking her to come back next time we are gone.”

“I appreciated Diana’s flexibility and willingness to do a last minute cat-sit with very little notice. She took great care of my shy kitty with pretty bad separation anxiety. Appreciate her frequent communication and photos! Thank you Diana!”
“Anais went above and beyond to provide loving care to our dogs - who can take a while to warm to new people. Anais was so patient and diligent with them - and communicative with us - we knew our pups were in the most capable and caring hands. We are so grateful. 🙏🏼”

“Qishu was amazing with our high energy dog and extremely communicative with us. We received lots of updates and pictures over all the days we were gone. We would unreservedly recommend Qishu to anyone!”

“Jordan was amazing with my dogs. I have an energetic Olde English Bulldog and a big Saint Bernard that’s picky about who he trusts and she did very well with them. Took them on lots of walks outside and sent tons of cute photos while I was out. She even made an adorable hand drawn card of the two of them. I would highly recommend her if you need someone to watch your dogs at your place.”

“Excellent service. Dane has great communication. He updates me everytime he comes and check on the pups. He takes cute pictures of them and spent time with each one, make sure they get all the attention they need. One of my dogs is reactive and difficult to handle, while most people turn him away, Dane makes sure he gets the care that he needs. I’m for sure will be a returning customer.”

“Francesca was great with my dogs! My anxious, reactive dog felt comfortable with her within a few minutes of meeting her. Francesca followed my instructions perfectly and was easy to communicate with and responded quickly. I've already booked her for my next trip!”

“He followed all of my instructions to a T and was a great house guest. I really appreciate how fast he communicated with me throughout the process. My dog normally barks at people and his calm presence was a nice fit to keep Kuta calm.”

“Wenjie did so well with our cranky old dog, taking care of the dog and apartment equally. He is cheery, responsive, and responsible, and we would book him again for Henry in a heartbeat”

“Melina has watched our puppies (and cat) several times now, and she is always such a joy to work with! Prompt, professional, kind, and most importantly-the animals are so happy to see her! Makes it much easier to be away when we have to travel.”

“This was our second time booking with G’la, and once again, she absolutely knocked it out of the park! She took care of our dog Finn and cat Tuna while we were in Mexico for our wedding, and knowing they were with someone they already loved made all the difference. Our boys adore her! It’s clear they feel safe, spoiled, and totally at home in her care. She kept us updated with sweet photos and thoughtful check-ins, and we came home to two very happy pets (and a clean house!). G’la is trustworthy, kind, and just really gets animals. We wouldn’t leave Finn and Tuna with anyone else. Five stars, every time!”

About: Hi! I’m Arianna. I enjoy and have plenty of experience sitting with animals! I love to go on long walks with dogs or taking a perfect pet photo. I have tons of experience making the perfect pet meal, cleaning a littler box, giving medication to dogs, and overall just spending time with animals. I am a part time student and I have plenty of time to sit and play with pets. Lots of time for long walks and drop-ins! I also love to just sit and spend time with animals who prefer to stay in. I do not house pets in my home, however I am committed to bringing a safe environment to your pets! I will always be aware of myself, my surroundings, and your pets surroundings.
“Laura’s first time dog sitting for us went smoothly. This was an overnight trip. She sent us photo updates and was responsive when we texted to check in. When we got home, the house was tidy, their water bowls were filled, and Cannoli and Da Vinci were in good spirits. We’ve booked Laura for an extended stay while we’re on an international trip. Thanks, Laura!”

“Shivani was incredible and the best sitter we’ve had! She took such great care of our pup, our two cats, and our home. Our pup is fairly reactive and has some big feelings about the world, so it can be hard to find people she is comfortable with. She seemed to be quite at ease with Shivani and enjoyed her time with her! Our shy cat also loved Shivani! Shivani also sent a lot of updates about our pets, which was soooo incredibly helpful and really put us at ease while we were away! Truly can’t say enough positive things about her and we will definitely ask her to sit for us in the future!”

About: I've been surrounded by dogs from a young age. I'm adaptable, whether they need a cuddle buddy, someone to throw a ball, or someone who will get down and (lightly) wrestle with them. Every walk session comes with some time for play and some time for love. Great with rescues or formerly abused dogs! Nervous, or otherwise neurotic dogs aren't a problem. I'm available whenever I might be needed. I just work on personal projects at home, so it's trivial to find the time I would need. I currently live in a pet-free apartment, so overnights at my place aren't an option. For extended care, I try to stick to the dogs owner defined schedule to preserve some sense of normalcy for them.
About: We are a husband and wife team with a combined 30 years of experience working with dogs. We have had the joy of caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, & personalities. For us, our job is simple. To make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved when you are away. Since my husband and I both work from home, our schedules are flexible. This means your dog will have constant companionship throughout the day. A typical day includes: Outdoor playtime at various parks, 3 dedicated walks, and lots of snuggles. We love sending a daily photo and updates, so you can see how much fun your furry family member is having. We live in a large 2,000 sq ft apartment with lots of room for your pet to roam. Our neighborhood is very quiet and relaxed. Lots of families and very safe.
About: I’ve loved cats all my life, and I love meeting new ones! I’m trained and experienced in cat care, body language, and behavior from kittens as young as 8 weeks to senior cats as old as 18 years. I volunteer with under socialized cats, sick and special needs cats, and cats with behavior quirks at Cat Town - a cat rescue in Oakland. Through my experiences with pet-sitting, volunteering, and fostering, I’ve learned to administer oral, topical, and injected medications (and an asthma inhaler!) and meet cats where they’re at to provide love, attention, and playtime! I’m looking forward to the chance to meet your cat and spend time with them :) My job has flexible start times, so I can visit your pet in the mornings and evenings as needed on weekdays. I am also available for weekend stays or visits! I am dedicated to not only your pet's safety, but also their health and well-being! I will do my best to stick to the routine you've developed with your pet, from meals to playing and lots of pets! I also give thorough updates, since I want you to feel at ease while you’re away from your pet!
About: I have had my own sweet pup for over 14 years. Assisted heavily during some of the major fires in northern California over the years, working with several professional animal rescue teams. Love dogs of all shapes and sizes just out here hoping to help as many pups as possible. Recently relocated to the Bay Area & while looking for my next full time opportunity decided to lean into some of my passions. Dogs being #1! If I can do that through this app while bringing in a little cash on the side, what could be better? Currently available full time. I’m very active so love taking walks. (My senior dog has slowed down so I’m missing a walking buddy.) I do have a small fenced backyard with grass. Our house is very dog friendly.
South Kennedy Tract pet parents share their Rover experiences
Allison stayed with our senior pup for two weeks. She was great at communicating before and during the trip, sharing a daily update with pictures and asking questions to ensure Chachi’s needs were being met. Chachi was super relaxed when we got home, indicating she felt safe while we were out. Allison also took good care of our house.

Lauren was great! She stayed with my Weimaraner Mac for a couple of nights. My dog is a big dog, about 100 lbs and is recovering from an injury. Lauren took great care of him and followed his daily medicine routine. She sent daily updates and photos. I will definitely trust Lauren to dog sit Mac in the future.

Having Trina watch our dogs gave us so much peace of mind while traveling. She gave us lots of updates, great communication, and took excellent care of our house and doggies. Her love for dogs is evident and she showered our feisty Chihuahuas with love and attention. Highly recommend.

This was Fuliang’s second time watching Hampton, and once again he did an amazing job! He’s dependable, punctual communicative, and clearly cares about Hampton’s comfort. I really enjoy the updates, pictures and videos. It’s such a relief knowing Hampton is in great hands. We’ll definitely keep booking with him!

G’la did a great job both housesitting and taking care of our two four legged friends. One of our doggies is a bit of a handful with anxiety and fear of going out in the rain and in general. She sent photos of them while we were away and everything was left in perfect order when we returned. We are so grateful to her!

Cannot express how great Charlii is in adequate enough words! Thorough, thoughtful, detailed, proactive and just incredible with our pup. Loved every nightly update and all the photos and videos. Will absolutely recommend Charlii to all our pet-parent friends!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Nyah was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond while housesitting for us. She kept us constantly updated with pictures and messages, took our dogs on regular walks, and followed every instruction perfectly. She was so sweet, patient, kind, and genuinely loving with our pups exactly the kind of care we’d been hoping to find. We haven’t come across a dog sitter this good in a long time, so we’re extremely happy and will definitely be rebooking with her again. Highly recommend! 🐾

Jonathan was great with my dog Brooklyn, who is high energy and has quirks around other dogs. He was super easy to communicate with, tended to my dog super well, and even alerted me when he had observations about the neighborhood (cars parked, blocking garages). He is very reliable and helpful!

Marian did such a wonderful job housesitting for us and being a pal to our cat, Phoebe. We got regular detailed updates from Marian about their time together with such sweet photos as well! Phoebe loved hanging out with Marian - she got lots of good play and snuggles. And we came home to a clean and tidy house! Thanks Marian!

Alisa was excellent! Our dog and cat are still young and very particular, and Alisa did an excellent job respecting their needs and our wishes as pet parents. Alisa was communicative and patient, and I couldn’t have asked for more when entrusting her with their care.
