Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. About: I am a veterinary technician with 16 years of experience providing skilled, compassionate care for pets of all ages. I specialize in senior and medically inclined pets, in-home boarding, medication administration, and creating a calm, safe, nurturing environment where pets feel comfortable and secure. I work Tuesday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and if a pet needs to accompany me to work for continued care or supervision, I can safely accommodate this. Evenings, overnights, weekends, and Mondays are fully dedicated to pet care, boarding, medication administration, and attentive companionship I provide a safe, structured, and nurturing environment in my apartment with a large, secure outdoor courtyard for supervised exercise and enrichment. About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.

About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. About: We promise your pup will have a great time with us- a daily run, evening stroll, plus unlimited attention from our seven year old daughter! We also have a four-year-old lab mix (Boston) who is great with other dogs and will be happy to have a playmate. We work from home and walk our dog regularly. we'd be happy to take your dog along too. Plus, there are great parks nearby, and I head up to the Oakland hills several days a week. Our home is ideal for dogs, as we have a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of space to run around. Inside, the dogs are welcome to cuddle up on the couch with us and generally be underfoot no matter what we're up to. During weekends, it is common for us to go on longer hikes and take the dogs. On weekdays, we work from home, which means the dogs can hang out where they please, and get plenty of walks throughout the day. We work from home, and our dog wants a playmate! We will let the dogs out to the fenced backyard whenever they like, and always take numerous trips around the block to stretch the legs out. Given that we wake up early to run and start working from home, we prefer drop offs and pickups to be generally between 8:00am and 6:00pm. We have a fenced yard and Boston is a great playmate. Typically the dogs like to be underfoot for most of the day, which is fine as we are working away on our computers. I like to do at least one longer walk/run during the day, or a hike in the Oakland Hills in the afternoon.

“Astrid was a lifesaver! The dog sitter for my active Aussie Shepard/pitbull mix had a medical emergency and she agreed to watch my Lola on a week’s notice. Lola can be a handful (she is very hyper until she gets used to people and is reactive towards other dogs) but Astrid and her family were so sweet and patient to Lola that she settled in quickly. Astrid provided updates regularly which reassured Lola was well loved. Will definitely hire Astrid again to dog sit Lola since Lola had such a great time!”

About: I have only pet-sat for friends doggos and cats in the past. Now that we are in a bigger place with a small yard, I’d love to work with you and your dogs. I will follow your directions and love your doggo right. I have had several Ridgebacks and Dobermans, a greyhound, and a viasla in my life and now love my two small ones - a rat terrier mix and a Pinchiweenie. I work from home and my desk is downstairs right by the back door so the door is open all day for my pets to go out as they please. I live in a quiet neighborhood with sidewalks for nice walkies around my neighborhood which has lots of grassy areas. I have time throughout the day for walks if needed and I make a point to have playtime with balls or toys throughout the day. We live just a few minutes from Oakland Airport in an 2 story townhome with a small (20 ft x 20ft), fully enclosed yard with areas for potties. It has great morning and early afternoon sun and I always have beds outside for sunning. The door is open for them to goes out as they want. We allow our pets in the couch and I office downstairs to keep an eye on the doggos. I have several water bowls around for hydration. I feed my girls a combination of kibble and homemade dog food, so “special meals” are not an issue for me.
“Nasreddine was great! I had a last minute trip and luckily she was available to watch my Peaches. She sent daily pictures and updates and treated her like she was her own. Peaches came home happy from all the walks and play time with her new friend. Will definitely use her services again.”
