“We are very happy to have found Lisette to housesit and take care of our new dog, Pony. This was our first trip away after adopting a dog with separation anxiety and some leash reactivity, so we were a bit nervous. Lisette came over for a meet-and-greet and was very calm and comfortable with Pony. On the day of our departure she came over right on time and jumped in with Pony, feeding him and taking him on a walk. She sent pictures twice a day and reassured us that things were going well. She also took great care of our apartment and left it very neat and tidy. We hope we can have her stay again next time.”

About: I have grown up with big dogs and have helped my family in fostering over 15 different shelter dogs with different needs ages and behaviors. I also have over 5 years in dog and cat sitting experience. I’m currently super flexible and can fit in walks frequently i’m home for summer break so have lots of free time. I also have a car and can drive to nearby trailheads. If caring for pets in your home I will take all precautions and instructions given seriously. I’ll also update with photos of your pet and communicate accordingly.

About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!

I have experience caring for pups ranging from 150lb English Mastiffs to 6lb Papillons. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, beginning with my childhood growing up on a farm. That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. I know exactly what it takes to create a safe, enriching, and comforting environment for visiting animals. I can give owners peace of mind while they are away! I am currently working part-time and have lots of flexibility to work around schedules and to setup routines! I also have transportation to travel. I have a fully fenced in yard with two fur babies to keep your doggos safe and entertained! They can lounge outside in the sun or inside.
