About: I grew up with 6 pit bulls, taking sun baths with them in my backyard. I’ve volunteered in SF SPCA and donate monthly. My best friend aka Herita is a rescue, she’s been with me for over 3 years now. I believe animals have taught me how to love unconditionally and responsibly. Calm, trust and safety are my top priorities. I hope you give me the chance to connect with you and your fur baby/ babies. I work from home. I normally take Hera on a walk every morning for about 30 mins. Come back and hit the gym. After that I’m free. I can always head over in the am, afternoon or evenings. I have a fenced yard, Herita is spayed and loves to play with other dogs. Her bff is a 3 y/o Doberman. Which I take care of a couple of times a week (take her out on walks and feed her)

About: Greetings! I'm Patrick. I've done a bunch of pet and house sitting on another platform, as well as for family, friends and acquaintances, besides having my own pets or sharing them with past partners. I used to practice massage therapy and reiki. I bring a similar intention to handling pets that I brought to responding to clients needs. I'd like to do part-time pet care in the East Bay, with some availability to housesit for longer sits around the full Bay Area. We adopted our dog only a month ago, and we were a bit nervous about leaving her for a short trip since she was still acclimating to her new home, but once Alejandra came over to meet her, we knew she was in good hands. We especially liked that Alejandra had experience with reactive dogs since our dog is a bit reactive. Alejandra spent 3 nights with her, shared updates and photos, and left our house spotless. We would definitely feel good about leaving our dog with Alejandra again.
Jana took wonderful care of our 13½-year-old miniature poodle, Claire, in our home. She was incredibly loving and attentive to Claire and kept us well-informed with daily updates and lots of photos, which we greatly appreciated. Claire requires daily medication, and Jana followed all instructions carefully. Jana was also an excellent house sitter. We returned to a spotless home and a happy, well-cared-for Claire! I was so grateful that Cassandra and her daughter (who’s also on Rover) watched my dog, Shaya, after a very last minute cancellation from another sitter. Shaya can be nervous and a bit reactive, but was immediately comfortable with both, and they each clearly have a lot of experience with dogs. They sent regular photos and videos and took beautiful care of my home. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire them again.
Carly was great for our zoo of 2 cats and 2 dogs. She was willing to come meet the animals quickly before the date of her services since it was so many animals and an overnight stay. She sent so many pictures and video updates it was great! She also messaged with any questions that I was unclear about to make sure that the animals were taken care of as intended. Would highly recommend her!
Adrienne filled in on short notice and was super thoughtful to my dog's needs, and her level of separation anxiety. They arrived promptly at the scheduled time, which was helpful, as I had an event to go to. They communicated with me when my dog was slow to eat and helped her along with some treats we left, and when I returned my was home neat and tidy. My dog also did not seem overly agitated when we came home, so I think she had a nice time and was comfortable even though this Adrienne's first time meeting my dog and pet sitting for me. I would hire them again!
Highly recommend Tommy. He did an amazing job house-sitting and caring for Raver, our active 1-year-old, 80-pound English Black Lab puppy. Tommy is reliable, communicative, and thoroughly professional. He took Raver out for supervised play at the local dog parks, and we returned to a very happy dog and a perfectly kept home. We appreciate his excellent care and will absolutely book him again.
Christina was absolutely wonderful! We felt so safe and knew our golden baby was in the best hands. We’ve used a lot of rovers throughout the years and have never found someone as perfect as Christina. She is an incredible human with so much compassion. Vania was super communicative and did a great job caring for my anxious shepherd while I was away for over a week. She cooked him eggs and rice when his tummy was upset for a few days and hung in there despite him keeping her awake the first night or two before he got used to a new person in the house. She gave him lots of play time and training time. It’s hard to find a sitter who can handle a crazy working line dog so I appreciate her care soo much!
Jessica was the best. She came back yesterday to return our key and our dog went nuts when he saw her. Your dog can't fake that love. Jessica sent us multiple photos every day. We felt very confident that our 2 dogs and cat were well taken care of. Jessica is highly recommended.
