Single family home, small enclosed yard, great neighborhood. Work 3miles min home M-F 8-4, home weekends. Friday late afternoon drop off/late Sunday pickup. Walks, hikes, trips to Berkeley Marina, feeding, play, medications and lots of cuddling. Enclosed yard, single story single family home, no kids, non-smoking house, furniture and carpets all dog friendly, nice residential area in Berkeley. Access to outdoors all day.

About: I have had a varierty of pets all of my life from rabbits to dogs and love being out nature. I am very conscious of pets needs and make sure they feel at home in any setting. I am working part-time and have plenty of free time to care for your pets. Weekdays are preferable but I am open to most weekends. I have a spacious, clean and comfy apartment with room for both small and medium sized pets. There is plenty of outdoor space for nice neighborhood walks.

About: What sets me apart is that I have experience caring for dogs mainly through family and friends, including medium and large dogs, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I’m comfortable following set routines and making sure everything stays consistent, whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, or daily care habits. I also have experience with leash-pulling dogs and basic training routines from working with my own dogs, so I’m comfortable reinforcing good behavior in a calm and patient way. With dogs, I like a balance of walks, playtime, and downtime, but I always follow their lead, some dogs want lots of attention and activity, while others prefer space and quiet company. I’m usually in the office about three days a week, but my schedule isn’t rigid and I can work from different locations or from home when needed, especially when I’m pet sitting. Because of that flexibility, I’m able to plan my day around feeding times, walks, and check-ins so pets stay on their normal routine. I generally walk dogs in the morning and afternoons, so it’s easy for me to build that into my day. I’m also available for morning, evening, and overnight care depending on what’s needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk times, medication, and any specific routines or house rules. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just quiet company depending on their personality. I’m also careful to respect their space and adjust my approach if a pet is shy or needs time to warm up. I keep the home clean and tidy, including feeding areas, water bowls, and litter boxes if needed, and I’m comfortable handling any messes or accidents. About: I have a pup named Frida who is a rescue and has taught me so much about patience and care. I’ve grown up with dogs and have helped sit for friends dogs. I am very observant and attentive of dog behaviors, personalities, and matching their energy. As a Rover user and dog mom I am very amenable to the level of care and love your pup may need 🌞 I’m currently a full-time student halfway into my Master’s program to be an Art Therapist. My program is online with a lot of flexibility for visits and walks-great for me and your pup! In a client’s home I am mindful of existing protocols and placements of items. This means knowing what treats can be given and when, where the leashes/toys go, enforcing established rules while keeping a mindful presence.

I’ve always been the go-to among family and friends for animal care because it is a responsibility I do not take lightly. Being someone who finds it hard to trust just anyone with my babies, I know the level of care that is required so that you can truly enjoy your time away. I am extremely detail-oriented, so rest assured I will make sure any instructions are followed perfectly, no matter the length. I’m also happy to provide as much or as little communication as you would like while you are traveling. I’m so looking forward to spoiling any new buddies that come my way! I do work four days a week for eight hours but I am will be available full-time the remaining three days. I am available for boarding, pet/housesitting, dog walking & drop-ins.
