About: Through having dogs myself, dog walking, and taking care of friends dogs for the past 9 years I have experience sitting, walking, and playing with dogs. In the past year I have adopted the sweetest dog named Cariño, a 35 pound terrier mix, and have cared for them through their puppy stages and now into adulthood! I primarily have experience with dogs weighing 10-60 pounds and dogs of all ages. I'm good at taking control of a situation and can also understand when a dog is scared, upset, or just needs a break. I have a car so I can come to you and live walking distance from Lake Merritt. I'm currently working part-time and have plenty of time to go on hikes, walks, or check in on your pup! I am flexible during weekdays and am unavailable on weekends currently. I have experience raising my own currently one and a half year dog. I can easily crate your dog and leave them well-rested. I do not let dogs go outside unleashed unless there are specific instructions to do so. I work part-time and have a flexible schedule so I am happy to make things work with your pet needs whether it's morning, middle of the day, or early evenings. I am not accepting pets in my home because we have a dog and a cat who are a bit sensitive to other pet friends.

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, boarding or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet-&-greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbors pets since I was a kid and love to have a fur friend around. Happy to take them out and walk and explore nature. I like to run and hike and bike and a companion on the way is a bonus. They will be greeted with calm warmth and care. I work on trips and when I am home I am home and can be flexible about where I work. This allows me to be present to the pets I care for and to adjust to their needs. I will probably have a run or workout at some point in the day or meet a friend but am quite present. I have a fenced backyard and live by myself in a peaceful quiet space. About: i’ve been a dog mom for 20+ years and have basically had dogs my whole life. i trained my own dog from puppyhood and i’ve helped friends (and other pet parents) with basic training and routine stuff too. i’ve taken multiple training classes, so i’m comfortable with things like leash manners, boundaries, and reinforcing good behavior in a calm, consistent way. i’m naturally really good with dogs and i’m great at reading their body language, even the ones that are anxious, reactive, or “don’t usually like people.” i’m patient, confident, and i keep things low-stress so pups feel safe and listened to. i work from home, so i’ve got plenty of time to give your pup real attention throughout the day (not just quick check-ins). i’m happy to do multiple walks a day, and since i’m near downtown oakland, we’ve got plenty of great walk routes, lake merritt, nearby parks, and lots of good “sniffari” streets. in my home, your pup gets a safe, relaxed setup with lots of attention. i have a fenced patio so they can hang in the sun and get fresh air, and inside they’ll have plenty of room to stretch out, lounge, and roam comfortably. we’ve also got nearby open spaces, fields, and trails for walks and play. depending on your dog and what you’re comfortable with, i can do off-leash play (only where it’s safe/appropriate) or keep everything leashed, solo adventures or playtime with my dogs if your pup enjoys company. i’m big on following your routine and keeping things consistent: feeding schedules, meds, crate time, training cues, slow introductions, whatever your dog needs. i’m totally comfortable with seniors, shy/anxious pups, and dogs with special instructions. and if your dog would do best with more backyard time, i can also utilize my girlfriend’s place nearby with a fully fenced backyard for extra outdoor play/sniff time (with your permission).

About: Hi! My name is Eunice and I absolutely love dogs. I’ve had dogs almost all of my life since I was 5 years old. I work part time but will be home full time for all school and national holidays. I truly enjoy meeting fur babies and spending a majority of my time with them. My mom will be home while I’m working so your pup will never feel uncared for or not given enough affection. I am communicative, reliable, responsible, and loving. I sometimes love animals more than humans and treat clients like my own. I live with one other senior pup 🐶, 1 chicken 🐓, 1 turtle 🐢, and 6 goldfish 🐠. Dogs have always been a part of the family and need to be treated with care, love, and respect. Seeing dogs in public always makes me happy and want to pet them! Your dog will be pampered, well cared for and given lots of love ❤️ I also have extra doggie beds. I have a fenced backyard they can explore in. They will he walked 2-3 times a day and fed scrambled eggs and chicken liver joint treats (from amazon) if permitted ** Please note: I am only accepting dogs who are on flea medication. If not, please ask your vet to put your baby on flea treatment (Bella is on Frontline with inactive fleas) **Please make sure to bring enough supplies like environmentally friends doggy bags and anything else that will ensure comfort for their stay. They will be fed according to their feeding schedule. I have a fenced backyard. Even if the owner says their babe can go off leash, I never let them go off leash for safety reasons unless in a fenced area.
