About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. About: I’ve always loved animals, for their big hearts and one of a kind personality traits. My family had a Rottweiler when I was a child and she always felt like the little sister I never had. My hours are flexible so I’m open to meeting your requirements to watch over your pet. I currently don’t have any pets at the moment, so having the opportunity to cuddle up & spend some time making a new furry friend would be a treat. Overall, I’m very passionate when it comes to the safety & well-being of your pets, so I look forward to providing I am currently a freelance filmmaker, so my schedule is pretty flexible! I’m available for boarding on the weekdays, Saturdays from 10am-4pm and Sundays after 3pm it's important for me to understand the type of pet I'm caring for so that i can gauge what type of activities they're into. I love being outdoors, so if your pet is active then i can take them to some of my favorite hiking trails that are near your home. If they're homebodies then I'll typically play some tug-o-war, or fetch with their favorite toys until they're tired. Then i'll feed them and chill out.

About: My family has owned dogs since I was a baby, cats since I was 5, and I have helped care for them since I was 10: feeding/playing with them, dog walking, cleaning litter boxes. I’ve also helped take care of other family/friend pets. I worked, interned, and volunteered at a local animal shelter where I was trained to walk/care for/train dogs, play with/feed cats, and cleaned kennels/litter boxes. Over the summer of 2024, I worked at the Oakland Zoo where I gained experience on caring for wild animals. Starting January 20th, I am taking classes at the local community college. I am available weekends, including Friday’s. Monday’s/Wednesday’s I’m available after 4pm. Tuesday/Thursday after 3pm. When I am free, I’m available to walk/feed dogs and take care of cats in their homes. I will send pictures showing the progress of the walk/visit. I will also write texts to update when I bring the dog outside, when I’m returning from a walk, and when I’m leaving and locking up the house. I own a car and am able to drive to your home to take care of your pets. I can also bring dogs for walks or drive them to a park to play outside if wanted. If I do drive them anywhere, I will make sure to text when I am leaving (house/park) and arriving to the park or back to the house to show the dog made the trip safely.

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 4 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, currently $150/night or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet- & -greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.

Your dogs will go out, have breakfast, and a short walk around the neighborhood. Your dog will have their own personal space for when they eat. I have a large, enclosed backyard and an enclosed courtyard in front where your dog can explore and we can play ball. Your pet will go outside as needed, as often as you want. Pets will usually relax inside during the afternoon and we'll go on another short walk before or after their dinner. We have a nightly routine to give a treat around 9 p.m. if okay with you. During that time, I will try to teach your dog to stay for longer periods of time, again if that's something you want. We try to be consistent and go to bed at 10:15 each night. Pets will sleep near us with the bed or crate they're used to or with us, if needed. That's our day! 👍 We have a routine with our dogs for when we eat and go outside. I can follow any instructions you have for your food, medicines, crating, dog beds, and treats. I will keep files with detailed notes of your instructions and what I learned about your pet during every stay, as we continue to get to know each other. My goal is for your dog to feel safe and happy so you can enjoy what you're doing and relax knowing that your four-legged baby is well taken care of.
