About: I’ve spent much of my life caring for animals and genuinely love earning their trust. In high school, I worked in dog and cat boarding at a local veterinary practice, where I gained hands on experience caring for pets with different personalities, temperaments, and needs. Since then, I’ve continued pet and house sitting for friends, family, and clients, volunteered with shelter dogs and cats through the PSPCA, and cared for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, rabbits, iguanas, ducks, quail, chickens, and fish. After spending the past eight months traveling and pet sitting, I’ve recently made the Bay Area my home. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets like family, communicate thoughtfully, and leave your home just as clean and cared for as you left it. My schedule is currently very flexible! I am especially interested in connecting with those in need of in home sitters while I am traveling, but open to day time walks and visits as well. I am a former real estate broker, used to have my own small business. I am taking some time out to work on my art, learn some tech skills, and travel. I am not able to care for pets in my home at this time as my apartment would require a hefty deposit. I am looking forward to working and traveling while using this app!
“Zsa-Zsa came in last minute to check on our dog on Thanksgiving after an unexpected trip to the vet for our cat. Thank you Zsa-Zsa. You are truly the best ❤️”

“Adam was a great pet sitter for our cat, Smokey. We will definitely try to use him for future trips. He clearly loves pets and he is an excellent communicator and we love the pictures that he sent”

“Kaiya was great! She cleaned up after some unexpected accidents with our senior pup and kept us up to date on all things pups while we were out of town. She let me know if she was running late or needed to adjust the time of the drop in and sent pics of the pups so we knew they were doing well. Definitely recommend her! Thanks Kaiya!”

“Melissa was very easy to communicate and clearly cared about our cats, playing and sending a lot of great photos. We recommend Melissa for taking care of your pets while you are away”

About: Hello! My name is Mary. I am a lifelong pet owner and animal enthusiast. I grew up on a horse farm with dogs, cats, horses, hamsters, and the odd rogue toad, so caring for animals with love and respect is literally second nature. I'm a somatic embodiment coach by trade, so I have a unique skill set for helping animals feel relaxed and comfortable in my care. I have joyously fostered 20+ dogs and cats in their transition to forever homes, and have extensive experience with house and pet sitting. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds, from 6 pound little weasels to 80 pound gentle giants. I have a special place in my heart for seniors (and have experience caring for them.) I am comfortable and experienced with administering medication. Because I work from home online and over zoom, I can accommodate animals that need a shorter window of alone time. I'd be delighted to treat your fur family with all the love and care I would give my own. I look forward to hearing from you! I have my own online business, so my schedule is very fluid and flexible. I love walking dogs and can easily do day or evening walks and stop-bys. I have experience with staying in many different homes and I know that every animal has its own unique routines, needs and rituals that help it feel in flow. I'm very happy to work with your pet in the way they are used to.

“Selen is always so dependable and reliable when we need help with Penny! She shows up on time, sends us updates and I can just tell Penny loves her so much. Highly recommend to anyone looking!”
“Korin was on time and communicative! She was great with Tater and I really appreciated how patient she was when Tater was WAY over excited when she came over for a meet and greet. Would love to book her again in the future!”

“Vania was so sweet with our 8 mo old puppies! We felt at ease during our travels. She took them on long walks and even gave them a bath since the days were quite warm. Thank you again Vania!”

About: I’ve been a dog person since diapers—started with my parents’ pup, then my own fur baby who lived to 18. Now I’m raising my 4‑year‑old sweetie. Dogs love my calm vibe (and maybe my treat). My friends joke I’m their “dog’s favorite human,” because I’m always the first call when they need a sitter. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and, being between jobs, I have plenty of free time to give dogs my full attention. I love taking long walks in nature with my own dog—it’s a therapeutic boost for both of us. Living in a peaceful neighborhood and tranquil home makes it easy to provide a calm, safe environment. I typically walk 2–3 times a day, so regular exercise and companionship are always part of my schedule. Safety is a top priority in my home. I have a spacious, secure, closed balcony where dogs can enjoy fresh air safely, and my own friendly dog is happy to provide companionship for your pup. There’s also a fenced area by my entrance, which adds an extra layer of protection to prevent dogs from slipping outside. With these safeguards, you can feel confident that your pet will be cared for in a safe and welcoming environment.
“Cara was so caring, responsive, and also very responsible. I was initially worried about leaving my cat for two weeks but I left him in very good hands with Cara. I especially appreciated all the photos she sent and the little daily updates! My cat loved her. I was able to relax knowing that I had a very sweet and reliable sitter.”

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 3 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, boarding or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet-&-greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.
About: Hii everyone!! So a little about me…I’ve basically grown up on a mini farm! Over the years, my family has had everything from chickens and goats to plenty of dogs and cats, so being around animals and taking care of them is second nature to me. I’m also a big sister and used to babysit a lot, so I’m really comfortable taking care of others and keeping things clean and organized. Whether it’s feeding, meds, cleaning up, or just giving pets some love and attention, I’ve got it covered. I’ve done a bunch of house and dog sitting before, and I’m really good at sticking to routines and making sure pets feel safe and happy while their humans are away. I also have experience with senior dogs, including giving meds, so I’m confident with extra care needs too! 🐾 Any newbie Rover users, use code KAYLAT10873 for $20 off your first Rover booking! If you've booked before, feel free to pass it along to friends or family :) I recently graduated from UC San Diego with my bachelors in Business Economics and just moved back home, which gives me a very flexible schedule. I'm available throughout the week and can easily work around you and your pet's routine, whether that's early mornings, midday visits, evenings, or overnight care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I'm happy to provide reliable, attentive care that meets your pet's individual needs. I'm very much a routine person, so any feeding or walking routines, I'd love to follow! I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I’m all about building trust so both you and your pet feel happy and secure. Regular updates and pictures are always a part of my care. I know how reassuring it is to see your pets happy while you’re gone! 😊

Avery was great! Our cats just loved her as shown in the photos we received. She was on time, followed instructions, kept everything clean, and was a great communicator. We felt safe leaving our pets in her hand. We highly recommend Avery and will definitely book her again.

This was the first time Sydney dropped in on my cat Mystery for me. From the start in it was a great experience. Sydney has great energy, good communication and showed genuine care for my cat Mystery. I recieved a detailed update with pictures. I will definitely be booking her again!

I highly recommend my pet sitter, Zsa Zsa! She is kind, gentle, and quickly earned my trust. She takes wonderful care of my puppy, is respectful of my home, always makes sure the doors are locked when she leaves, and even brings in packages from my porch. I always look forward to the photos and report card after each visit—they give me peace of mind and let me see how much fun my puppy is having. I know he's in caring, reliable hands every time she's there.

Megan took care of my cat for a full 3 weeks. She kept her fed, cared for & eventually was able to coax her out of the closet to socialize. I got daily photos, updates, and she asked questions as needed to take care of Kava. Coming home my cat was happy, well fed & it took us no time to get back to our regular routine which I believe is thanks to Megan being so consistent & a daily caring touch point for Kava. I will definitely work with her again in the future & HIGHLY recommend!
