About: Leaving your pet with someone new takes trust. My goal is to help you feel informed and reassured while giving your pet patient, attentive care that respects their personality, routine, and boundaries. My hands-on experience includes two and a half years caring for my rescued Chihuahua mix and two cats. I also volunteered socializing cats at a shelter when I was younger and, more recently, volunteered regularly at a farm animal sanctuary from April through October. There, I helped with feeding, fresh water, cleaning, preparing barns, and evening routines. I’m especially comfortable with cats and understand that building trust often means offering quiet company, respecting their space, and letting them choose when to interact. Caring for my own sensitive, reactive small dog has also taught me to watch body language closely, stay aware of my surroundings, and create distance from situations that make him uncomfortable. I treat every pet as an individual. Whether they enjoy sniff-filled walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I take time to learn what helps them feel comfortable. I let them set the pace for affection and interaction rather than forcing a connection. I’ve been vegan for seven years as part of my personal commitment to animal welfare. That commitment includes respecting each pet’s dietary needs—I’m comfortable handling meat-based food and following their established feeding routine. You can expect clear communication, thoughtful updates, and photos while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pets and learn what helps them feel safe, understood, and cared for. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to plan walks, drop-ins, and house sits around your pet’s routine. For new clients, I prefer at least three days’ notice so we have time to arrange a meet-and-greet and make sure we’re a good fit before confirming a booking. During house sits, I stay overnight but may leave during the day for other pet-care bookings, errands, and personal commitments. Before booking, we’ll discuss your pet’s usual schedule, potty-break needs, and how long they can comfortably be left alone, so you know what to expect. I take a careful, detail-oriented approach to caring for both your pets and your home. At our meet-and-greet, I’ll ask about feeding instructions, walking routines, behavior, triggers, household rules, and emergency contacts. I welcome detailed care notes and will follow the plan we agree on. On walks, I’ll stay aware of our surroundings, keep your dog leashed, and avoid unfamiliar dogs or greetings unless we’ve specifically discussed them. I pay attention to body language and give pets space when they show discomfort rather than pushing them into an interaction. In your home, I’ll be mindful of doors, gates, and escape risks, keep feeding and litter areas tidy, and respect your instructions about access to rooms and outdoor spaces. For cats, I’ll offer attention without forcing handling or disturbing them when they need space. I’ll keep you updated with photos and notes about how your pet is doing and communicate promptly if I notice a change in their behavior, appetite, or bathroom habits. My aim is to maintain the familiar care they’re used to while giving them patience and support during your time away.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life and rescued my own fur baby 5 years ago. I watch dogs for friends and family all the time and genuinely love having them around. I love that every dog has their own personality, and I'm happy to meet them where they're at, whether they're playful and outgoing or a little shy and need some space. I'm no replacement for their favorite human, but I hope to give them a friendly, warm, low-stress environment where they can feel comfortable and cared for while you're away. 🐾 I'm currently working part time so I have a very flexible schedule. I'm available most week days all day, Saturdays all day and Sunday evenings. I have a car so can easily drop in for a visit or walk and pick up/drop off your pet. I live in a condo with my partner and a little Pomeranian named Romeo. I don't have a yard but live in a super walkable neighborhood with some parks nearby. I love staying active and driving to a trail/park from time to time to take a little hike.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was about 14 years old. Most of my experience is with puppies and younger, high energy dogs, but I am happy to care for dogs of all ages - I just love to be around them. I have taken several training courses with my previous pets and am big on keeping a routine. I currently work (mostly) remote from 9-5pm on weekdays but they are very flexible for me. I’m happy to do overnight stays and I love to get extra exercise/play in. My apartment currently does not allow pets. I will always consider your requests as minimums unless otherwise stated in terms of what your pup needs (i.e. longer walks, more playtime, cuddles)!

About: I grew up with cats and dogs. I was taught to care for them with kindness and patience. I was taught how to bottle feed, clean litter boxes, make sure bowls are clean and play with all pets to make sure they get the attention they deserve I’m available weekends starting Thursday for home drop ins or walks. Thursdays and Friday after 5:30pm, and Saturday and Sunday all day work best for home drop ins and walks I’m very active and can do long walks or plays. I can also do drop-ins. I’m flexible and communicative to ensure you don’t have any extra stressors and able to enjoy your travels/ days off.

About: I love dogs so much and I know that may sound generic but dogs are so pure and lovable. My love of dogs started with a dog sitting gig that sparked this love and lead me to be a pup parent to Colonel Peanut who passed in 2020. He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area. I have experience with basic training, administering meds, and observing your pup to see what they are telling me they need. I work from home and can be somewhat of a house cat myself if I'm not out for walks with pepperonis. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet's needs. About: I grew up on a farm, taking care of many kinds of animals with many needs. As an adult, I’ve had pets of my own, most recently a big 80lb lab mastiff pupper, have had him for 5 years now, and a loving cat that we rescued 6 months ago. When I lived in ky, I’d constantly watch my neighbors dogs and other friends dogs/cats periodically when they would go on trips/vacation. I want to take the passion that I have, and turn it into some extra cash, while putting your mind at ease. Your pets will have an amazing time and you can relax or accomplish what you need done. 🙂 I’ve lived in Oakland for 3 years now and have a plan with my partner to move out in the next 3+ years. As of now, I am a stay at home father of a dog obsessed kid, and looking mainly for walking/jogging gigs with kid friendly dogs. 😁 Will play with, walk, feed/water, nurture, brush, etc, as needed while you are away.
