About: For over three and a half years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One is a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.
“Cameron was wonderful with our cats Wally and Oreo. He sent fun photos everyday and even our shy cat seemed comfy with him. It’s nice to go out of town and know everyone will be taken care of.”

“Shelly was phenomenal. She came over to meet Ellie, my cat, and Ellie took to her quickly. I appreciated the photo she sent me. Overall, I recommend her.”

About: Hi, I’m Rich! I’ve been a pet parent for over 30 years and can’t imagine life without animals. I currently share my home with a sweet 6-year-old tuxedo cat, but I’ve also raised dogs, including a lab, a beagle and a maltese, and even completed training classes with them. My favorite trick was teaching my lab how to balance a treat on her nose! Over the years, I’ve cared for pets of all ages—from playful puppies to senior companions—and have experience with vet visits, administering medications, and providing comfort in emergencies for both cats and dogs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members. Whether it’s drop-in visits, daily walks, or simply keeping your pets company, I bring patience, reliability, and lots of love. I’m available for pet sitting and I treat every animal with the same care I give my own. Walks, playtime, snuggles, or a calming presence—I’m here to make sure your pet feels happy and safe while you’re away. Since I’m not working a traditional 9–5 job at the moment, I have a very open schedule. This allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, or extended pet sitting, and it means I can give your pets consistent care without feeling rushed. My 6-year-old tuxedo cat, Jester, is definitely spoiled (in the best way!). He has plenty of toys to keep him entertained, and he’s welcome to nap and sleep on my bed at night. I make sure he’s fed a high-quality diet, limit treats and people food, and keep his flea and tick prevention up to date so he stays healthy and happy. I believe pets deserve both love and structure, so I balance snuggles and playtime with good care routines. The way I take care of Jester is the same way I’ll care for your pets. I believe in giving them attention, affection, and comfort while also keeping up with their routines and health needs. That means plenty of playtime and cuddles, regular walks or feedings on schedule, and making sure medications, treats, or special diets are followed exactly as you’d like. I’ll respect your home and your pet’s routines so they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away
“Emily is a fantastic pet sitter! She was always quick to respond to my questions and concerns and sent photos of my cat at each drop-in. She is super dependable and a great communicator. I will definitely ask her to cat sit again in the future.”

“Cara was so caring, responsive, and also very responsible. I was initially worried about leaving my cat for two weeks but I left him in very good hands with Cara. I especially appreciated all the photos she sent and the little daily updates! My cat loved her. I was able to relax knowing that I had a very sweet and reliable sitter.”

“Nicole was very understanding of my shy, anxious puppy. She was super patient with him and he warmed up to her quicker than he normally does with new people. Would definitely recommend Nicole and plan on booking her again :)”

About: Animals are one of my life’s greatest loves (AKA special interest). At this point, I’m basically a level-capped pet sitter with critical hit affection and stat bonuses vs shyguys and grumps. I’ve maxed out my EXP through a lifetime of joyful, hands-on experience with cats, dogs, birds, and myriad other small animals. From shy senior cats to energetic pups, I tailor my care to each pet’s unique “character build” — whether they need a stealthy companion, a high-stamina walker, or a boss-level snuggler. I’m known for following instructions to the letter, sending regular photo updates, and treating pets and homes with deep respect. Safety, stability, affection, and fun are my top priorities. Whether you’re gone for a day or a week, I’m here to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and understood. I work part-time from home (and for house sitting, can easily work from yours), so I have a flexible schedule to structure around your pets’ needs — walks, feedings, playtime, grooming, cuddling and companionship. At home, I maintain a clean, calm environment with scheduled meals, play, and grooming for my own two beloved cats. Routine and enrichment are key to keeping pets stress-free and happy. When caring for your pet — whether in your home or mine — I prioritize: • Following care routines as written • Respecting your home (clean, safe, secure) • Watching for any changes in behavior or needs • Keeping environments peaceful, safe, and low-stress I’m committed to giving you peace of mind and helping your pet feel like they’re on a staycation 🌞

About: Hello! I have had dogs since I was young, specifically hounds. My family dog was a Beagle growing up and I am now the proud dog mom of a 9 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. I love dogs of all sizes and truly enjoy spending time with them and taking care of their needs. Especially walks and playtime! I work four days a week in healthcare as a Travel Physical Therapist so I am currently available on weekends and Mondays for drop in visits and dog walks! I love my dog like he is a member of the family and will give your pet the exact same care and consideration. You can expect frequent updates with photos and a description of the day’s events!

“Charlotte is a wonderful pet sitter!! She was communicative, responsible, and very thoughtful in taking care of my cat. It was supposed to be hotter than I expected while I was away, and she was great about checking in and offering to help keep my apartment cool for my cat's comfort. He also was so happy to get some lap time and company with her! She's awesome and reliable, and I will absolutely be booking her again for future sitting needs.”

About: I've cared for pets my whole life and can’t imagine a home without them! I currently have a pitbull and a dachshund, and I’ve always had cats too. I believe every animal deserves respect, patience, and understanding. I’m great at reading animal body language, respecting their boundaries, and making them feel safe and happy. I use lots of positive reinforcement—like treats you approve of—to build trust and comfort. I also have experience safely administering medications, whether it's pills, liquids, or topical treatments. If needed, I can gently and safely correct bad behavior to help reinforce good habits. Your pets will be treated like family. :) I recently lost my job due to federal cuts, so I'm available all week days! Please let me know your schedule and we can try to find something that works. Safety is important. Please let me know of any precautions I should take when visiting. I'll be sure to do whatever is necessary to make you and your pet comfortable and safe during the visit.
“Awesome! He’s very gentle and caring towards our scaredy kitties. He followed the care instructions and made sure our fur babies were taken care of. Thank you, Patrick. Will be booking with him again.”

“Laura was absolutely amazing watching our two kitties while we were traveling over the holidays! She sent great pictures every day and nice updates about how they were doing, and I know they were well taken care of because they seemed less mad than usual when we got back home :-P She also offered to water our plants and Christmas tree, which was super helpful as well! Overall communication and professionalism were 10/10, would definitely ask her to pet sit again in the future. Thanks Laura!!”
