About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.

About: Howdy! My name's Rachel, I'm new to the area. I am a lover of all animals, but especially dogs. I grew up with a lovable and energetic Akita, so I have a big love for larger dogs. I currently live with my cat, Henri, who I found in an alley in Chicago a few years ago. I formerly worked for a local dog boarding and daycare spot. I'm a pretty active person, I like hiking and running and being outside, all activities that could be even more fun with a four legged companion. About: I’ve fostered and volunteered with a wide variety of animals over the last 10 years including cats, dogs, rabbits, reptiles, and farm animals. I’ve worked with a variety of ages (neonatal to senior), treated a variety of medical conditions (requiring medications, injections, and inhalers), and cared for animals of all temperaments (dog reactive, anxious, etc.) I’m currently a full time student at Berkeley Law but I’m usually on campus for only 5 or so hours a day. During the summer, I will be working remotely. On weekends, I am available all day. I will ensure that your pet stays in their usual routine while providing them plenty of love and attention. I will respect the animals boundaries in your home and build trust by creating a safe environment while you are gone.

About: I have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, including feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and providing lots of attention and companionship. I’m very attentive to pets’ routines and comfort levels, and I always aim to make them feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their owners are away. I also understand the importance of clear communication and sending regular updates and photos. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to spend quality time with pets throughout the day. I currently work full time with a work from home schedule 3 days a week, which gives me availability for walks, drop-ins, boarding, and extended care. I’m able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure pets are happy and comfortable in my care. I work from home 3 days a week (M W F). And I'm home most weekends. My job is flexible so as long as I don't have meetings I can take breaks throughout the day as needed for pets. I've taken my friend's dogs on walks during my work hours and given attention to pets during their stay, treats and cuddles :) I have an open space layout so I will be able to be close to the pet and see what they're doing while I'm home.
