“Yena did a wonderful job caring for my kitties. She gave the friendlier one lots of play time and observed the spicy one lovingly, giving him the leeway to come near her on his own instead of keeping to his usual post guarding the bedroom. She sent many sweet updates as well. I would be happy to have her tend to my cats again for sure.”

About: For the last four years I’ve lived in a home with two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. One was a senior at 13 years old and the other is three. I’ve learned how to adapt to their different needs based on age and personality while setting boundaries and aligning to my Housemate’s desires for their care. (Which has helped me get to know new dogs pretty quickly.) We walk, play and cuddle. When needed I administer medication, feed them, and sometimes cook for them. I look forward to chatting with you about your family’s needs. When house sitting I do not schedule any other families for walks or drop-ins. The care I provide is all inclusive so that your baby gets all of my love and care. If I am not house sitting, I’m available everyday after 11am for walks and drop-ins within a 1 mile radius of lower Rockridge or easily reachable by public transportation. To ensure safety and comfort, I won’t be walking any other dogs outside of your household. I am available to spend time with your pet(s) in their home where they will be the most comfortable. I’ll come to you for walks.
About: I bring over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, with a particular love and comfort level for well-behaved pups of any size. I previously had multiple Great Danes, so managing large, powerful dogs is second nature to me. I know reside with my 15 lb Aussiedoodle in the East Bay. My care style is calm, attentive, and highly personalized. I focus on creating a relaxed, structured environment where dogs feel secure, understood, and genuinely cared for. I especially enjoy long walks, outdoor time, and thoughtful enrichment that keeps dogs mentally engaged as well as physically exercised. Whether your dog thrives on adventure, routine, or simply peaceful companionship, I tailor care to their individual temperament and needs. While I adore dogs of all sizes, I naturally connect with well-mannered large and giant breeds. Their personalities, presence, and gentle nature have always been my sweet spot. My Approach • Calm, grounded energy • Long, engaging walks • Enrichment & mental stimulation • Respect for routines & preferences • Reliable, boutique-style care I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. My goal is always to provide a level of care that feels thoughtful, intuitive, and genuinely reassuring. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup 🐾 I have intentionally limited daytime availability, which allows me to provide highly attentive, unrushed care. Rather than juggling multiple bookings, I typically focus on one household per day so your pet receives my full presence, energy, and attention. I own and operate a small business, and during this season I’m choosing to supplement my days doing something I genuinely love — spending time with animals. Caring for pets is something I find grounding, joyful, and deeply rewarding. For walks, I choose safe, calm, low-stress environments. I’m highly mindful of surroundings and well-versed in reading situations to ensure dogs remain comfortable and relaxed. I have extensive experience handling large and giant breeds on leash, and I’m confident managing powerful dogs with steady, grounded energy. Off-leash activity is never an option unless within your pet’s own familiar environment and based entirely on your preferences. Trust & Care for Your Home I understand that inviting someone into your home requires a high level of trust. I treat every home with the same respect, discretion, and care I would expect for my own. I’m naturally tidy, conscientious, and attentive to details — whether that means maintaining cleanliness, following household preferences, or ensuring your space is left exactly as you’d expect. Referrals are gladly provided upon request. I’ve been trained to remain observant and considerate of other dogs, children, and potential stressors, and I proactively navigate walks in a way that prioritizes safety and ease for your dog. Your pet’s well-being, security, and peace of mind are always my highest priority.
“Cara was so caring, responsive, and also very responsible. I was initially worried about leaving my cat for two weeks but I left him in very good hands with Cara. I especially appreciated all the photos she sent and the little daily updates! My cat loved her. I was able to relax knowing that I had a very sweet and reliable sitter.”

About: I've been taking care of cats since I was a child and I have been dog sitting family dogs since I was a teenager. Some of my priorities are making sure all furry friends are comfortable while they are away from family and learning their habits so that I can best support their needs. Being in the company of animals brings me great joy so I try to make their time with me as engaging and serene as possible. :) I'm a full time student with flexible schedule as I only attend lectures and can study from most places. Every day looks different for me but I tend to have free mornings and a big block of free time for lunch! I make sure their living space is safe and check their mood to see what steps to take to make sure they can rest comfortably every night. Some examples of safety for me include checking that no food that's toxic is left out, induction stoves locked, windows closed and emergency grooming done (like nail clipping if its uncomfortable for them, or brushing matted fur if its starting to show up, all done if the pet is used to it of course). I keep in mind their energy levels, bowel movements and make sure to communicate any significant change of behavior to pet parents :)
“Jes was a great drop-in visitor for our cat, Moby. There was prompt and helpful communication throughout and we felt like Moby was in good hands. He also takes awesome pictures during his visits.”

“Simone was very much what we needed while away. She made sure Harry had food and a clean litter box on a consistent basis she sent pictures to me as well which was appreciated. I highly recommend her services.”

“Stephanie was a wonderful sitter for my cat. She was responsible, responsive, and communicative throughout her time watching my cat. She provided daily updates and made sure to ask questions when needed to ensure my cat was cared for well. I would have Stephanie cat sit again for me!”

“Richard was great! He was friendly, professional and an excellent communicator. My cats loved him and he sent cute photos of their time together. I recommend Richard as a sitter!”

About: Hello my name is Brianna! I have worked with dogs and other pets for 10+ years. I started out as a dog walker and pet sitter for neighborhood families at the age of 13. I then went on to work at the local Animal Hospital. Here my duties were cleaning, walks, feeding, handling difficult animals (especially dogs) and more. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I have always had a knack for understanding and taking care of them! To me, caring for a pet is a very important task that can sometimes take a lot of patience. It isn't something learned from a book but from heart and instinct! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting/working with your Fur Babies!

About: Grew up with dogs, in my 20’s adopted a dog of my own and we spent almost 15 years together. Dogs are simple but empathetic and require patience and care just like anything else, I’ve pet sat for many friends and family members and love the opportunity to make new friends. I recently was laid off so my schedule is wide open for pet care, I am hoping to keep myself busy since the job market has been so bleak despite me applying far and wide daily. I am available full time for any pet needs! Walks, play time, feeding or simply being a presence for a shy or hesitant pet. I am well seasoned in all things pets be it clean up or medicine. Aside from caring for my own cats and dogs over the years, I have provided pet care and sitting for many friends and family members. I understand pets are part of the family and require social interaction and love and always make sure to spend time socializing and playing. I am open to check-ins, overnights or a combo of both. I love instruction but also can take the wheel if needed! I think it’s important to follow the pets existing routine as close as possible to ease anxiety.
“Michelle was amazing! I had a last minute emergency come up and I had to leave my 4 month old puppy home alone all day. I was frantic bc 1, I’ve never left him since the day I got him & 2, bc no one was been around my puppy alone since the day I got him. Michelle was able to fulfill my last minute request and put my mind at ease. Michelle was very communicative; she sent pictures and videos during both of her visits. I could cry at how great Michelle is Thank you again Michelle for your help”

About: I’ve raised Shih Tzus and a Siberian Husky over the past 16 years, giving me experience with both small companion dogs and high-energy working breeds. What really sets me apart is how genuinely invested I am in a dog’s well-being — I always do my best to keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable, whether that means sticking closely to their routine, taking extra time to help them settle in, or adjusting to their unique personality. I’m patient with puppies still figuring out the world and gentle with senior dogs who need slower pacing and extra care. Every dog in my care gets the same attention, respect, and love I give my own. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I’m currently a potential PhD law school student waiting for application decisions, so I have a lot of open time before next August. I’m not working on anything else right now, which means I can commit fully to giving pets consistent, reliable care. My availability is Monday through Friday starting from early as 5AM to 3PM, and I’m also open to evening walks on weekdays. Weekends are available as well as long as we arrange them in advance. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, predictable environment so they feel secure while you’re away. I follow your routines exactly — feeding schedules, walking times, medication, and any house rules you prefer. I always double-check doors, gates, and leashes, and I never rush through visits; I stay attentive to their body language, energy level, and comfort so I can adjust to what they need that day. I clean as I go, keep their space tidy, and make sure water and food are always fresh. Most importantly, I treat your home and your pet with the same respect and care I give my own, so you can travel or work knowing everything is safe and handled.
“Angela did a wonderful job taking care of our new puppy for a few hours. It was our puppy's first-ever babysitter experience and it went really well, with no issues whatsoever. We're very happy and will have Angela puppy-sit again soon.”

About: Choosing a pet sitter can be stressful, but with my background, you can finally relax. I offer more than just walks and playtime—I provide veterinary-level peace of mind. For over 15 years, I worked as a Veterinary Technician, honing my skills at some of the most respected animal hospitals throughout San Francisco. My clinical experience is vast, and I am proficient in everything from medication administration to monitoring post-operative patients. On top of that, I have unique hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of species gained during my time at the San Francisco Zoo. What this means for you: Safety First: I am highly trained to recognize and respond to potential medical issues quickly. Specialized Experience: Need someone comfortable with insulin injections, sub-Q fluids, or complicated medication schedules? I’ve got it covered. All Creatures Welcome: While I adore dogs of all shapes and sizes, my love doesn't stop there. I am highly comfortable and experienced in caring for your pocket pets (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters) and even snakes and fish. My mission is simple: to provide reliable, compassionate, and expert care so your pets feel secure and happy while you are away. I currently work from home part-time doing administrative work for a leading veterinary company as I transition from in clinic work to pet-care full time. I'm available most of the day to assist with your pet's care. Whether in your home or my home, your pet will be cared for like they're my own. I will give each pet the chance to get to know me, as well to get to know them, so our bond will become as close as it is with you.
About: Hello! My name is Jane. I really love dogs and have been with dogs since I was 6 years old. I took care of my own 2 dogs for more than 10 years, from when they were small puppies until they became old. I learned how to feed, walk, play, and give love every day. I will treat your pet like my own, with love and care. I love spending time with pets, and I’m happy to take care of them in my free time. I’m still a college student, and most of my classes are online, so my schedule is flexible. I’m usually available in the morning and afternoon, and I can also help in the evening if needed. I will always do my best to follow the pet’s routine. When I take care of pets, I always try to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. For my own pets, I feed them in the morning and afternoon. After they eat, I wait about 30 minutes, then take them for a walk. I also give them their own space where they can relax or play by themselves. If I’m at the client’s home, I try to keep the same routine, so the pet doesn’t feel stressed or confused.

love Cindy. We always book with her and her partner. I have three big, crazy dogs haha so I am always nervous to leave them with people but Cindy puts me at ease:) They are quick to respond and send lots of updates with photos, I never have to worry when I’m traveling which is such a great feeling!!

Sheralynn was great! She arrived early/on time and followed all the directions to go inside and leave the house. She let me know when she arrived and send updates and pictures throughout her visit with Titus and Max. Max, who has a little nervous energy with even me at times, was fully engaged the whole visit and gave Sheralynn leg rubs when she was leaving. Both cats had a great time! When I got home I could tell they were more relaxed having had a nice engagement and play sesh with Sheralynn. I couldn't be more happy and appreciative. Thank you!

Alienna is fantastic! She feeds my cats three days a week and is incredibly consistent and dependable. She’s always on time, sends photos every visit, and does exactly what I ask. She’s also very flexible and genuinely caring with my pets. I feel completely at ease knowing she’s taking care of them. I couldn’t ask for a better Rover sitter!

I’ve used Ashley twice now to care for my lil boy when I’ve been away from home and she’s phenomenal! Knowing someone cares for my boy and loves him like I would helps my anxiety leaving him for a week. I can’t recommend her enough to check in on your fur baby. I’ll definitely be using her again in the future when I need to leave my boy with someone I can trust. ❤️
