About: I take great care of my own two cats plus foster kittens! I have experience with young kittens as well as adult cats. I genuinely love cats, care about their well-being, and will care for yours as if they were my own! I take on temporary roles in the city with weeks in between contracts, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your kitty! I believe playing, socializing, and providing affection, as well as feeding, are essential components of cat sitting. In the past, I have handled emergency situations with my own pets, from vet visits to evacuating our home. You have my assurance that, should it be necessary (and hopefully it won't be), I am prepared to care for your pet during difficult times and communicate with you every step of the way.

“Rebecca has given wonderful pet care for our dog, cat and yes, even our small gang of hermit crabs. Our dog Daisy loves when Rebecca comes over because she knows they will take excellent care of her, and take her on long and energetic walks. Rebecca has done casual walking as well as full on over night house-sitting, including being with Daisy during one of the worst nights of the year for her, 4th of July (yeah, she hates fireworks). They handled the situation masterfully. On a recent trip, Rebecca stayed at our house with Daisy, Orangey (cat) and hermit crabs, and not only were all the pets in great spirits and well-fed when we returned 12 days later, Rebecca also left our house in better condition than they found it. Rebecca is excellent with the pets and a wonderful communicator with the humans. We will invite them to care for our animals again in the future.”

Cupcake stayed at Kat's house with her, so Kat made sure she had a quiet and secure place away from drafts and her terrier mix, Charlie. Kat spent several hours hanging out and talking to Cupcake, they had quite a rapport. Kat researched and made sure Cupcake had healthy veggies and fruits available to Cupcake for her entire visit with Kat. Kat even went a step further and changed Cupcakes bedding while we were away before returning her to us. We've found Kat to be an extremely responsible, thoughtful and conscientious pet sitter. We would definitely use Kat again to take care of our Cupcake.”
