She followed the written instructions we left for her and confirmed additional instructions we texted after we left for our trip. She texted us pictures of Chilli with updates. About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover, and currently have a lovable fluffy husky. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Treesa loves pups of all sizes! Meet my pets: Just the dogs! About my yard We have a fenced backyard. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me and Winston at home, join us on walks, and get to spend the day with us! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!

“Marlene just did the first drop in visit for our two dogs. She was very communicative, punctual, and made sure to secure the house when she left. Plus it was a very rainy day, and she got the dogs all cleaned up when they came in from the yard. Glad we found a reliable person.”

About: I've taken care of our family dogs most of my life, we've had a Maltese that we were lucky enough to take care of until she was a senior. Now we have our sweet Husky, and she's a 5-year-old lady. I'm experienced in walking, bathing, and playing. My availability is currently scattered as I have taken on a part-time job, though I am no longer available on weekends. My availability is open primarily during random days of the week, so I will need requests one week prior to make sure my schedule is open. The house has a fenced in backyard with lots of room for running and playing. Our dog is not super into toys, though not for lack of trying (so there are a bunch of extra toys to choose from)! There are two indoor cats, so we (the household) are very careful if any other pets are inside so that there aren't any accidental escapees, though they are very much welcome to chill inside as the backyard can get hot when the sun is out. There are a couple parks in the area as well where neighbors go in the afternoons to let their dogs meet, play, and run.

“Kacie did a great job with drop in visits for our two cats while we were out of town. She provided updates and pictures each day and it was nice knowing the cats were in good hands. I highly recommend booking with her!”

“Nicole made it through four wonderful days of D0gen care before she was sadly felled by strep throat and had to terminate her care. I had made back-up arrangements which she handled with great responsibility so that Dogen suffered almost no trauma as her sudden departure! He's now happy and so am I, and just hoping Nicolde gets well soon!”

8. Meghan M.

“My dog fell in love with Meghan at first sight, even though she's usually slow to warm up to new people. Pepper, my miniature dachshund, is always excited to see Meghan, whether for a walk or an overnight. When I pick her up Pepper is happy and tired. We call Meghan's house a doggie resort as a joke, because it's filled with toys and treats. Pepper's happy and I am, because I know my dog is cared for and loved (not to mention spoiled) when I can't be there. We both trust Meghan and would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog person to love and care for their pup when they need help.”
