About: Hi there! I’m a total people person with a heart that easily extends to pups of all sizes! I’ve been working as an Autism Specialist since I was 19, so patience, intuition, and building strong, trusting connections are truly my superpowers. I like to say I have that special energy humans and dogs both adore! For the past 7 years, I’ve been dog sitting for families in and around my neighborhood, as well as my parents’ neighborhood, caring for their fur babies like they’re my own. I understand how important it is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I live in a spacious 2bedroom apartment with a spare room that gives pups plenty of indoor space to play and relax. Our complex also has lots of grassy areas perfect for fresh air, potty breaks, and nice walks. Whether your dog loves a structured routine, playtime, or cozy cuddle sessions, I’m happy to meet their needs! I’m reliable, communicative, and naturally attentive. and I genuinely get excited to host and care for pups in my home. Your dog’s happiness and well being will always be my priority. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! 🐶✨ I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, so your pup will have lots of supervision and attention on those days! I’m also available most weekends if you’re planning a little getaway and need reliable care! I care for every dog like they’re my own, keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. I provide plenty of supervised playtime, structured walks, potty breaks, and cozy rest time in a safe, calm environment. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer quiet cuddles and relaxation.
About: Hi, Meghan here, I have always been a dog-lover. I live in Oakland with my mom, a fellow dog-lover! I allow our furry friends on the couch, but can also work on furniture-boundaries if your pooch isn't allowed on furniture at your own home. I work from home, so I'll be home most of the day during the weekdays. The longest your pup will be home alone (with my pups) is around 5 hours. I am comfortable with big dogs. I can give medications, and can brush your pooch as well! Here's a little about us: Meghan has been a dog-lover since birth. She grew up with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Treesa loves pups of all sizes! Meet my pets: Just the dogs! About my yard We have a fenced backyard. My experience administering medication We are comfortable administering oral medication. **We do have a Potty Clause. We understand accidents happen, and are very forgiving, as pups are often excited and can't help themselves at first. However, we have occasionally had extreme repeat offenders. We take dogs on the basis that they are potty trained. If we feel there are an excessive number of indoor incidents, we will let you know, and ask for a $10 additional fee (per week, or fraction thereof), to cover the cost of laundry and cleaning supplies.** Thanks! I work from home so your pup will hang out with me at home, join me on walks, and get to spend the day with me! I have a fenced yard. Security gate at my back door means fresh air without escape opportunity. We're working on installing a dog door, so that should happen later this year!
About: As avid dog lovers with over 15 years of experience, we've cared for various breeds, including our own Shih Tzu who sadly passed away last year. We also frequently looked after our brother’s French Bulldog, who happily reunited with our Shih Tzu, and a Siberian Husky, along with other family dogs. Living in a pet-friendly community with ample grassy areas, your pups will have plenty of space to roam and play. Before your drop-off, we'd love to arrange a meet and greet to acquaint ourselves with you and your furry companions! This is not our first time on Rover. We have been dog-sitting on Rover for about 3 years. The first two years were under a different account with our mom because of age. So we did it together with our parents and were very happy with both animal and human clientele who were just as happy with our services. If you would like to see reviews from then I can send over those Rover Account details as well! We understand the importance of ensuring both you and your beloved pets have peace of mind while you're away, and we're dedicated to providing them with a safe and enjoyable experience under our care! We are currently completely free, accommodating both weekdays and weekends. Our days will be completely catered to the needs of your babies. We understand the importance of convenience, offering flexible pick-up and drop-off times, including same-day services. Whether it's a weekday, weekend, or holiday, we're here to ensure seamless care for your beloved pets. We offer a fenced backyard patio and expansive grassy areas within our community, and we're happy to provide photos of the surroundings upon request prior to booking. Alternatively, we can arrange a meet and greet so you can explore our dog-friendly and secure neighborhood firsthand. Our area boasts ample walking spaces and provides poop bags for your convenience. For crate-trained dogs, we recommend bringing their crate to ensure their comfort. Additionally, please bring any items that will help your dog feel at ease and secure during their stay. If your dog requires medication, be sure to bring it along. While we do offer some dog treats, feel free to bring your pup's favorites to ensure they feel right at home. Your pets' comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we strive to make their stay as enjoyable as possible!

About: Been the primary source of training and exercise for my family’s dogs since I was 13. With training large breed dogs, specifically Rottweilers and various rescues. I have a lot of experience with larger willful breeds, but also have had a few years of smaller fluffier breeds like French poodles. I am currently the primary caregiver of my son and so taking him and Sierra for walks and play dates is ver much part of my day. I have a fenced in yard for my 3 year old Rottweiler but take longer walks along Lake Chabot on the regular. She is an inside dog and has been trained to be very friendly as I have two elderly cats who are decidedly not friendly towards her. That said when we are not home I have seen the cats snuggle the dog via the doggy cam!
“Nicole communicated and sent a photo of my cat every day I was out of town. When I had an ant invasion, she was able to find and set out the ant traps I remembered I had, which successfully distracted the ants away from the food and water bowls. My cat often doesn't love to be around strangers, but she very quickly warmed up to Nicole as soon as they met. She was great!!”
“Marlene just did the first drop in visit for our two dogs. She was very communicative, punctual, and made sure to secure the house when she left. Plus it was a very rainy day, and she got the dogs all cleaned up when they came in from the yard. Glad we found a reliable person.”

About: Since my teenage years, I have taken care of various pets, cats, dogs, fish, turtles, frogs, birds, rabbits, and hamsters. In Denver, Colorado, I was assistant manager for a pet shop. We not only provided retail, but we provided play space washing, and grooming. I am looking forward to working with friendly only pets. I currently work my digital editing business part-time so I have ample time to add a pet in my daily routine. I am available daily from 4:30 AM until 10 PM. My preference would be to pet sit where they reside, but if a pet does need to stay with me overnight, they can expect a friendly, quiet, playful, safe place with three levels. There's also a dog park walking distance.
“We love having Angie! She always does an amazing job caring for our boy while we’re away! She has great communication skills and is always on top of everything! We will use her again and again and recommend her for anyone needing someone trustworthy to love and care for their pet!”

“As a first time Rover user, Pearl was a great choice of sitter! On short notice she was very accommodating, and took great care of my puppy Hugo. She was also very easy to get in touch with, and kept me updated on how each drop in went. I would definitely book with Pearl again, or recommend her to a friend!”

“Jisselle took wonderful care of my cat! He loved her and jumped right into her arms when he met her. She was punctual, communicated well and often, and she followed the specialized instructions. I will definitely be using her again!”

“Daria was amazing with our cat! She spent a good amount of time getting to know her and playing with her. We came back to a happy kitty! I would highly recommend Daria to any cat parent looking for a responsible and caring sitter.”

About: Rover is an amazing thing in my family's life. Our whole household REALLY LOVES DOGS. We love all the different dog personalities we get to know. We genuinely appreciate pet families trusting us to care for their pet(s). Boarding is our most used and preferred service of the Tree House. We have many regular clients who use our Boarding and Doggy Day Care services. We love all sizes of dogs and the full range of dog personalities. We host up to 4 guest dogs at a time and are very conscientious of the dogs we host and how they will interact. Therefore, if your dog does not do well with other dogs, our house may not be a great fit for your pet. We get requests for exclusive bookings, and where we can accommodate these requests, we will. ****price for exclusive bookings is 2X our service rate, currently $150/night or day care slot**** We require all new clients to do a meet- & -greet, so we can only accommodate last-minute new clients if we get a solid referral from another sitter, you are a friend of the family, or one of our regular clients referred you. We have found our guests do much better when they have been here and sniffed about before their stay. Your dog(s) will be loved and treated with the utmost respect by every member of our household and any other guests. Our home is very relaxed, and our backyard is a dog paradise with lots of shade and different areas for dogs to claim their own space. We always have a crew of dogs, so your dog will have plenty of stimulation and exercise while at our home. We work from home and are here nearly all the time. Pickup and drop-off times are flexible—the key is communication and consideration—fees may apply where either is lacking. The yard has plenty of room for guests to stretch it out and find their own space. We are happy to accommodate crating, and problem children will have some sort of time out until they can ground and be good guests. We are not disciplinarians but are pretty good at setting boundaries thru timeouts and rewards.
Elmhurst Park pet parents share their Rover experiences
Tinwa did a great job chicken sitting for us! He and his partner came over and took care of our flock, and they were very good at taking plenty of pictures and keeping us updated on how the chickens were doing. They filled their food, cleaned their water and laying area, and made sure they were all in the coop after some free-ranging time. I would absolutely hire them again!

Maricruz did an incredible job checking in on my furbaby. She was so gentle, sweet, and clearly cared a lot about making sure my “Buddy” was comfortable and well looked after. He is 15 years old so I get really nervous leaving him but her communication was fantastic, and the updates made me feel so reassured. I’m very grateful for the care she gave and would happily trust her again. Buddy seconds that! :)

Angelica was SO great with out German Shepard!! We will definately be using her in the future for dog services. She is VERY kind and great with our dog who adores her now!! He can be a little territorial BUT we found some tricks that warmed him up to her very quickly! Thanks a MILLION Angelica! :)
Kayla is truly the BEST and we feel so lucky we found her 🥹✨ From our very first meet & greet, we knew she was special — she literally showed up with a notebook and asked the most thoughtful questions about our dogs, routines, preferences, and care. That level of preparation and attention immediately put us at ease. She gives total Disney princess energy. So gentle, calm, kind, and clearly such an animal person. Both of our small, anxious rescue pups absolutely adore her (which says everything because they can be pretty selective with people!). She made them feel safe right away and has been incredibly patient and attentive with them. She’s also an amazing communicator — proactive, responsive, thoughtful updates, and just generally someone who makes you feel like your pets are in such good hands. We’re so grateful to have found Kayla and genuinely can’t recommend her enough. Thank you for taking such good care of our fur babies 🤍

Sarah is reliable, flexible and so sweet. My cat is a senior cat who is very attached to me but Sarah takes great care of her and is mindful of the extra care she needs as an older cat. My cat took to her quickly as well, such a relief to travel and know she’s in great hands!
Alisha is absolutely wonderful. She took excellent care of our 16-year-old kitty girl. We lost her brother late last year and this was the first time Desie would be on her own during a trip. Alisha took patient effort to make sure she ate and sent plenty of pictures so we could see how our beloved little girl monster was doing. I really felt like I left my cat in the care of someone who loves her as much as I do. 100/10 will absolutely book again for a trip later this year.

Diana was helpful and communicative and trustworthy with our little bunny, who was honestly pretty messy and required some extra / unexpected care because he got sick and needed medicine. Diana was very consistent with the updates and we loved having someone so local to provide for Janus.

We hired Daria to do drop-in service for our two rescue seniors. She has very calm and confident energy and quickly charmed our salty Chihuahua mix. We really appreciated her prompt communication and thoughtful questions/comments. We will definitely book Daria again for pet care!
