About: I have been providing home-style dog boarding and pet care since 2017, with over 9 years of hands-on experience. I also worked for two years at a professional dog boarding and daycare facility in San Francisco and have experience in animal rescue. I am experienced in caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, especially puppies, senior dogs, rescue dogs, and dogs with anxiety or special needs. What sets me apart is my small, home-based care approach. I only accept 1–2 dogs at a time, which allows me to provide full attention, a calm environment, and truly personalized care for each dog. I am patient and attentive, and I adjust my care based on each dog’s personality to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I stay at home most of the time and have a flexible schedule, so caring for pets is a natural part of my daily life. I take dogs out for walks, feed them, and spend time with them every day. I only accept a small number of dogs so I can give each pet plenty of attention and care. Home-style care in Castro Valley. Only 1–2 dogs at a time, never more than a small pack — so every visitor gets personal attention and a calm, consistent routine. Quiet indoor spaces to nap, multiple walks outside each day, and free meet-and-greets before any stay. I've been caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and more since 2018 and specialize in small and medium dogs under 45 lb.

“This was the first time I brought Charcoal with Rosa, she is kind and at the end of each day it was seen that Charcoal had been comfortable. Rosa answered messages quickly and sent photos of our dog. Of course I would take Charcoal with her again. She also speaks Spanish which was a plus.”

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats my whole life! I've recently adopted a new cat, Beef, who is a darling. I have experience birthing and raising puppies. I love bringing my dogs for walks, hikes, runs and playing fetch. I'm always active because I'm a college athlete. I'll make sure to take great care of your family animals while you're away and provide them lots of love, attention and activity! I'm a college student home for the summer, taking online summer classes. I have plenty of time to care for animals! I stay very active throughout the day so I have the capacity to walk, run and play with the animals. I'm able to be very attentive with animals because I'm close to home often. I have two fenced yards with plenty of room for dogs! Lots of toys, balls, extra leashes and bowls! I have dogs of my own that can either be socialized or separated from your pets. I live near a park and like to take the dogs out.

“Jalen was amazing with our puppy! We needed a last minute baby sitter and Jalen was quick to accommodate! He would consistently send photo updates of the puppy. He also made sure to give our energetic pup enough attention so that he could sleep easy at night. I would definitely recommend jalen if you are looking for services!”
