“Elyse was amazing! Our normal dog walker bailed on us last minute, so we needed someone fast. Elyse went above and beyond making sure our dogs were comfortable with her and had great communication with us. She is super sweet and our pitties love her!!!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats for friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers for years and genuinely love being around animals. I’m dependable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s personality and routine. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications, playtime, crate routines, and giving pets extra patience and attention so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important trust and communication are, so I always make sure owners receive regular updates and photos. I work full-time during the week but have flexibility in my schedule for pet care before and after work, on weekends, and for check-ins throughout the week depending on location. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, staying active, and making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to keeping consistent routines for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and home, so I prioritize safety, communication, and consistency. I keep owners updated with photos and messages, closely follow feeding and medication instructions, and always make sure pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for with patience and attention. In clients’ homes, I’m respectful, clean, dependable, and focused on maintaining a calm environment for pets.

“Sophie has been amazing with my girl Rosie as she adjusts to city life. She has made a huge impact on keeping her calm and helping keep her active by giving her good exercise and working with to stay calm and focused while encountering squirrels, other dogs and loud noises on their walks. I have noticed such a change due to Sophie's interventions. Sophie is prompt, communicative and kind. A one of a kind! Rosie adores her!”

“Haylee did an amazing job with our dog, Potter! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about him as if he were her own. It’s obvious that Haylee genuinely loves animals and takes the time to make them feel safe and cared for. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker!”

About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. I have a fully open schedule at the moment and with a love of animals I thought that this would be a better way to learn and love my new community than digging through online job ads. I am willing to sit, play, walk, feed and care for your pets as needed. I’m an active (formerly collegiate) runner and can go as fast or slowly as your pet needs. I have reliable transportation and experience in pet first aid as I recently completed my tenure as an Emergency Manager with the American Red Cross.
About: Hi, my name is Taylor! I’ve had more pets than I can count throughout my life: dogs, turtles, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, frogs, and fish! I absolutely love caring for animals and will treat your pets like my own. I love spending days walking around Lake Merritt and I live very close to a park that I take my own dog to so your pups will definitely be well exercised here! I live in a beautiful apartment complex that is pet friendly and also live on the first floor so that makes emergency potty breaks super easy breezy. Please let me know if you have any questions about what I am able to do for you and your puppy, looking forward to hearing from you! I work part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I’ll make sure they are comfy, and have all of their needs met like a nice & full belly! Long walks are never a problem here I’m very flexible and find it very easy to adjust to different pet care instructions. I can provide all the stimulation your pup needs and will always send pics.
“Kerri is amazing on walks with our energetic and reactive dog Buster! She's very kind and calm with him, and he responds so well with her. We also appreciate how prompt and communicative Kerri has been.”

“Anais is incredibly puntual, caring, and communicative. She is mindful of my aging dog’s needs and even took her to sniff some wildflowers at my dog’s favorite spot during their walk.”

“Thank you so much Jennifer! 5 stars! I am an anxious dog mom to a very anxious doodle, and it’s very hard for me to find people that I feel comfortable leaving my little fur baby with. But from the moment I started communicating with Jennifer through Rover, my anxieties were eased! Jennifer is kind, warm, and a very clear communicator! She was very gracious and non-judgmental too as I over explained and neurotically walked through Ruffles’ preferences and routines! I felt so at ease at work knowing she was taking care of my baby and didn’t even think twice! And her updates and pictures were always great and informative. It’s funny too how you just know when your dog likes someone, and I could tell he really felt comfortable with her! Can’t wait to book again for dog walking.”

“Adam was awesome with our two dogs while I was at school. He listened to all of our concerns with our older dog and Adam went above and beyond to make sure he was walked safely.”
About: I am a dog lover and lived with dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs on and off for the past 8 years including boarding, house-stays, and walks. I currently have pretty flexible schedule and can make my hours fit for you - if there is a time conflict I will make sure to inform you and propose another time (if applicable). I cannot currently board dogs in my home (my dog is going through cancer treatment), but I am happy to do house-stays or walks. I ensure pets have their boundaries respected and I will ask plenty of questions to understand your pet’s personality and potential reactivity.
About: I have a sweet German Shorthaired Pointer named Belle who keeps me active. Belle and I enjoy long walks at the Berkeley Marina, Point Isabel, and King Estate. On good days, I take Belle on hikes at Redwood, Sibley, and the surrounding areas. I am home full-time with my 6.5 y/o German Pointer, Belle. Belle and I spend at least 1 hour outside everyday, weather permitting, and would love some company on our daily adventures. I can't take her out on hikes daily so some days consist of multiple walks with many potty breaks throughout the day. Belle is a very sweet and easy-going dog; she can be anti-social or shy at first and needs time to warm up to other dogs. Don't be offended if Belle shows no interest in your dog! Dogs have supervised access to the yard for bio breaks and are free to explore the home. Mental games and toys are available to keep dogs entertained if I am busy in the kitchen or running errands. I also like to train dogs basic cues (sit, down, stay, here/come, etc.) so if you are okay with that, I'm happy to do so! Belle and I completed beginners and intermediate training with Bravo Pup, and I like to continue to reinforce our training every day.

About: Hi! Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities, including senior, anxious, and high-energy pets. At home, I currently have two small dogs, Wallace (14) and Tofu (7), along with my cat Luna (9), so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your pets and their routines. I'm especially comfortable with: - Senior dog & cat care - Giving medication - High-energy dogs who need extra engagement - Anxious or shy pets who need patience and calm energy - Positive reinforcement and treat-based training I'm not a professional trainer, but I genuinely enjoy working with dogs on basic skills, confidence, and engagement through positive reinforcement. If your dog is treat motivated, I'd love to incorporate little training moments into walks or drop-ins (with your permission of course!). I have a flexible schedule and am available Monday–Friday from 7am–6pm, which allows me to give your pets lots of attention, consistency, and care. Whether your pet needs a calm companion, extra playtime, a slow walk, or just someone patient and attentive to check in on them, I'd love to help! About: I am experienced in providing gentle, including walks to the parks and beaches, while maintaining a calm and comfortable environment inside home and outside home. My job requires me a peculiar freedom to have a flexible schedule. I am morning person and love going in evening strolls regardless of sorting setting. I can’t recommend Karly enough. She is quick to respond, always on time, and my pup loves walking with her! She has even been able to accommodate last minute requests on such a short notice. I can relax a bit at work knowing my pup is in good hands when she is scheduled to walk with Karly.

Haylee did an amazing job with our dog, Potter! She was reliable, communicative, and clearly cared about him as if he were her own. It’s obvious that Haylee genuinely loves animals and takes the time to make them feel safe and cared for. It was wonderful to be able to count on Natalie to help us with three walks over the holiday weekend! Our dog, Grover, is anxious around new people and dog reactive. Natalie was happy to take things very slowly with him until he was comfortable and gave me lots of updates. She definitely went the extra mile (sometimes literally) to make sure he got out on a nice walk and was well taken care of. It was a huge relief to find someone we could trust, which allowed me to relax while away. We will definitely be reaching out to Natalie soon to book more walks!

My dog looooooved her walk with Sydney! The pictures and videos Sydney sent us were so sweet and our dog looked so happy. Sydney was super communicative and let us know when she had mila, how they were doing on their walk, and when mila was back home. It was also a really hot day and Sydney was very patient and accommodating for our senior tripod! Can’t wait to continue with Sydney :)

Tim provided wonderful care for my puppy during a difficult time. They understood her needs, communicated clearly, were really respectful of my home. I noticed that they remembered specific concerns I had made sure to keep those im mind. I also appreciated the thoughtful pictures they sent and their intentionality in the details they provided about how the care went and how much puppy was doing. Thank you, Tim!
