About: I am a dog lover and lived with dogs my whole life. I have taken care of dogs on and off for the past 8 years including boarding, house-stays, and walks. I currently have pretty flexible schedule and can make my hours fit for you - if there is a time conflict I will make sure to inform you and propose another time (if applicable). I cannot currently board dogs in my home (my dog is going through cancer treatment), but I am happy to do house-stays or walks. I ensure pets have their boundaries respected and I will ask plenty of questions to understand your pet’s personality and potential reactivity.

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!

Walks aren’t something I rush through—I’m happy to let your dog sniff, explore, get some exercise and enjoy being outside. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable following your dog’s particular routine, whether that means a brisk walk, a leisurely neighborhood sniffari, playtime or just some extra company and affection. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own—even though I’m still waiting for one of my own! My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can accommodate weekday and weekend visits and walks, including daytime hours when many people are at work. I’m happy to work around your pet’s established routine and give them the time and attention they’re accustomed to. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and access to your home—is a big deal. I’m mature, dependable, communicative and respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions carefully, pay attention to changes in behavior, and know how to stay calm if something unexpected happens. About: I’ve had dogs for years and always look forward to help friends and family look after their pets. I enjoy looking after and bathing animals. I myself have 3 dogs and 3 guinea pigs so I genuinely love caring for animals. I work part time during nights so I’m available all day every day to love and care for your pets. About: I love dogs so much and I know that may sound generic but dogs are so pure and lovable. My love of dogs started with a dog sitting gig that sparked this love and lead me to be a pup parent to Colonel Peanut who passed in 2020. He was a three legged trip that was my ride pr die for 8 years. Since his passing I have leaned into dog walking and dog sitting for others while the grief moves in waves. Point Isabel is one of my favorite places if your pup is an off leasher! Otherwise I love neighborhood walks where we can explore and smell and admire the flowers and discover birds of your area. I have experience with basic training, administering meds, and observing your pup to see what they are telling me they need. I work from home and can be somewhat of a house cat myself if I'm not out for walks with pepperonis. I have a very flexible schedule to fit your pet's needs. I can accommodate last minute booking so please don’t hesitate to reach out. I know what it’s like to be a pet parent so I will treat your pet and home as my own. I will make sure to check all the boxes like refilling water, feedings, sharing snacks and giving medications, or cleaning/refreshing the litter box for kitties.

I grew up with dogs since the age of 8 - mixed breeds, yorkies, labs, pitbulls, shepherds, terriers, corgis, chihuahuas, frenchies.. the list goes on!! One of the moments that confirmed I’d always want to work with animals was in college, when I helped care for my roommate’s pitbull/red heeler mix, Bridget. She is the sweetest girl, though she struggled with anxiety and health issues. Her teeth were worn down from chewing rocks in her past life, and she’d carry a little blanket around whenever she felt distressed. With her special diet, supplements, and medications, Bridget taught me what it meant to truly care for a soul who’d been through so much. That experience deepened my love and empathy for all animals in a way that’s stayed with me ever since. I'm a huge advocate for providing pets with a great quality of life - more than just basic food and shelter. I'm happy to do any small extraneous tasks like getting the mail, watering plants, etc. Just let me know in advance! For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 kids (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja) and a short stint fostering, I'm seasoned in all things cat/kitten: socializing, changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). Since I’m a full-time student, my Rover calendar is updated to work with my in-person class and clinic shifts. That said, many families are comfortable having my partner, Ian, join when he’s available—which allows for a little more flexibility with scheduling. It’s a wonderful setup because Ian works from home (and is basically a dog at heart!), so your pets will almost always have company and care. Rest assured, it will only be me caring for your pets unless we’ve discussed and agreed otherwise. I’m also happy to bring Ian to our meet & greet and provide references upon request! I am responsible for creating a safe space for pets in their home. I make sure that they are comfortable and their boundaries are respected and understood with the guidance of their body language and the wisdom from their humans. All animals deserve patience, love, and empathy.

About: Available for Drop-in, Pet Sitting & walks for your dogs and cats. Experienced with large dogs. I have a +60lb pit/staffy rescue. He has anxiety around other dogs so I am accustomed to managing that in public, working to decrease associated behaviors, and highly cognizant of the space/surrounding I have the dog in. I am also experienced with cats. I have 2 currently from a rehoming/divorce situation a couple years ago. I have open availability Sunday-Wednesday, limited availability Thursday and Friday. Please inquire. With 3+ weeks notice, I can have open availability. I am able to housesit and do drop-ins as well in Oakland and surrounding cities. Caring for your pet is extremely important to me. I understand they are your baby/family and treat them as such. With standard care, I also provide enrichment and basic treating to ensure the best bonding and care.
