“I found myself in a bit of a bind. My partner was going into a last minute surgery and we needed to find someone to take care of our dog on short notice. I reached out to Dvora and almost immediately heard back. I appreciated Dvora's request to have my dog come by her house and hang out for an hour just to see how she reacted to other dogs and to Dvora's home. Thankfully my dog seemed to adapt well and we confirmed boarding for 3 nights. Over the next few days I got regular updates and even a couple photos which really helped ease my mind that my dog was well taken care of. My partner's surgery went well but we had to stay in the hospital an extra night. Dvora was able to accommodate boarding our dog one more night. Overall, I really appreciate how thoughtful Dvora was in the care of our dog. She really understands the behavioral pattern of dogs. She has a nice backyard which I appreciate because my dog had the space to run around and play. My dog even got along super well with a different dog Dvora was taking care of. Our dog is older, had just started some medication, and also is afraid of fireworks (so not ideal to be away from home during 4th of July). Adam and Vicky took excellent care of Daisy, along with their young pup Goose. I received updates frequently and was able to relax while away because Daisy was in good hands. Daisy got lots of outdoor time and was happy and healthy throughout her stay. Daisy has a ton of energy and was able to get the exercise she needed and great friendship from Goose. I recommend Adam and Vicky!!
Jo was amazing with Kuma! She’s so warm and inviting, is very empathetic with dogs, amazing communication, and very thoughtful. She took time to meet Kuma before the stay and was very easy. During the stay took pictures and shared updates every day. Would 100% work with her again!
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Anthony. Our dog was exceptionally well cared for, and it was clear from the start that he genuinely cared about her happiness and well-being. Anthony paid close attention to everything she needed—exercise, playtime, rest, and plenty of affection. Most importantly, he really took the time to connect with her and make her feel comfortable and loved. We also appreciated the frequent updates and pictures along the way. It gave us peace of mind knowing she was not only in great hands but genuinely enjoying herself. Anthony is thoughtful, attentive, and clearly passionate about animals. Shareese has great communication, is prompt, attentive, kind, and trustworthy! From the moment we did our meet and greet, Yeiko made himself right at home at Shareese’s and it was clear he was comfortable with her and in her space. Yeiko requires extra care and vigilance due to his IBD and Shareese handled his needs with patience, attentiveness, and care that put me at ease while I was away. I would absolutely trust Shareese for future dog boarding needs and I think Yeiko would love it too!
Sarah was an absolute rockstar. Our dog is a large doberman-staffy mix who came to us with isolation distress and dog-selective reactivity, so it has been quite difficult to find competent care for him when we go out of town. Sarah was so kind to our boy, took him on daily adventures, and gave him the best care we could hope for. This weekend was the most confident we have felt about leaving our dog in someone else's care in the two years that we have had him, and that peace of mind allowed us to genuinely enjoy our trip. Our dog was so relaxed and comfortable at pickup that he had to be convinced to leave. Sarah is a sitter who both truly enjoys animals and intricately understands how to meet their needs. I would highly recommend Sarah's services and would certainly hire her again without hesitation.
I WAS FREAKING OUT! With fairly short notice, my usual options for taking care of my Witten, a 65lb Lab/Jindo mix were unavailable. I definitely didn't want to use a "dog hotel", so I decided to cancel my travel plans. But then a good friend sent me a link to Rover (which I had never heard of) along with a few dog sitter profiles that he thought looked like a good match for Witten. Monica was one of them, and his intuition about her turned out to be spot on. She responded quickly, and was very accomodating about arranging a meet and greet at her home. She and her partner, Benji both have a great energy and a presence which immediately made me start to feel comfortable. And Witten immediately started excitedly exploring their securely fenced-in backyard and making himself at home. Daily, they sent me pics and videos of Witten obviously having a doggone good happy time...in the backyard, on walks around the neightborhood, at parks. Along with insightful observations about Witten that told me they were truly spending time with him and doing more than just "dog sitting". I would have no hesitations about having them care for Witten again. And we are very happy to have them as part of our pack
Nati and Ollin were so kind and responsive. You can tell they love animals and treat them like family. My dog trusted them right away and came home calm and content after our week away. I think she’s already looking forward to hanging out with them again. Thank you for taking such good care of Poppy!
