About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have 2 kitties at home. I love getting to know each animal, and experiencing the cuddles and love each have to give. One of my favorite times of day is playtime- I feel like they always come alive and it’s so fun to be a part of. I have also done a lot of overnight cat/ house sitting as well! I’m currently working part-time and have a few other side gigs, so this works into my routine perfectly! I love the flexibility of pet sitting. I know that some animals especially cats are more sensitive than others, and I like to give them plenty of grace and space to get to know me and become comfortable with me. I know animals are all unique with their personalities and limits and I always try to respect what they show me they are okay with. I am comfy with daily visits and also overnight stays.

About: Hello! I've been pet-sitting professionally since September 2023 and have done walks, drop-in visits, and house-sitting for dogs and cats of various ages, sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. This includes caring for senior dogs who need mobility assistance and have a hard time hearing and seeing. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter during college, where I had weekly shifts walking, playing with, and socializing dogs in the shelter. Additionally, I have experience caring for my own pet rats, and others' rodents and reptiles (rabbit, guinea pigs, and bearded dragons). With clear instructions from you, I would love to care for any rodents, reptiles, amphibians, or birds as well! You can list these animals as "Cats" within your Rover profile. I have a 30 hour/week job in libraries and I work pet-care into my off-days, or before/after a work shift. About: Growing up my family was very conscientious about teaching me to care for our dogs responsibly. I have been taking care of dogs since I was in my early teens, including pet sitting for neighbors and friends, and I have also been a friend/ owner to cats, rabbits and birds. My dog of 5 years, Master, is the second dog I've trained since puppyhood and she's a beloved member of our household and neighborhood. She has physical disabilities related to surviving distemper, and through her care I've gained a lot of knowledge & experience about supporting disabled dogs. I welcome the additional needs & occasional challenges that caring for disabled dogs can sometimes present. :) I work part time and am a part time student. I intentionally structure my work in a way that allows flexibility in my schedule- creating the opportunity to maximize daylight playtime hours, or adjust to your schedule if you're someone who also has complex scheduling needs! Aside from my (modest) weekly in person class schedule, I'm open to working with you and meeting your needs. I do not currently offer boarding, as I live in a shared cooperative house. To offer some background nonetheless: My dog and I live with one other dog- at times there have been up to 3 dogs total and 2 cats in the home, living harmoniously :) My dog is extremely comfortable, friendly and playful with cats and other dogs. She has a great relationship with the other humans in our home and we maintain a comfortable, consent- and boundary- focused dialogue about dog care (and an understanding that pet care is a significant responsibility) , which my housemates offer support with almost every single day :) In your home- I generally defer to what is the most comfortable/ familiar for your pet, or in keeping with the current training & routines you have established. I'm comfortable with administering additional care (ie meds, specific routines around feeding/ outings etc). If you happen to be in the process of implementing new training *that you have already established with your pet* I'm happy to work toward those goals in the time I spend with your pet and/ or in your home.

About: Hello there! My dog care experience started in 2013. I got my first dog. I went on to helping dog sit my family members dogs monthly and during vacations. I treat all dogs as if they are my own. I am a very calm, laid back, but fun loving person and dogs tend to pick up on that. I have 2 kids an 11 year old and 4 year old. Both of them have been around dogs and are very friendly, yet respectful to each dogs needs. Our community is very dog friendly, and there are lots of furry animals walking their owners around everyday. Your dog will be in great care with me and you can feel confident that your dog is being well taken care of. Right now, I work part. I have lots of free time to dedicate to insuring your dog will be taken very well care of. I am available Sun - Sat most of the day. You can bring your crate along, I have space in my living room to accommodate your dog. I am also willing to allow dogs on my furniture if they are calm and trained. I have a secure courtyard in my building with lots of grass and greenery. Great for quick walks and outings or if your dog needs to be away from other dogs. There is also a dog a gated dog area and grass park just 3 minutes away walking. Either way safety is my first priority.

She is the sweetest girl, though she struggled with anxiety and health issues. Her teeth were worn down from chewing rocks in her past life, and she’d carry a little blanket around whenever she felt distressed. With her special diet, supplements, and medications, Bridget taught me what it meant to truly care for a soul who’d been through so much. For my cat parents out there: Because of my 3 kids (Kina, Nemr, & Freyja) and a short stint fostering, I'm seasoned in all things cat/kitten: socializing, changing litter, oral admin of meds, treating fleas, bathing, nail trimming, de-shedding, training (sit, high-five, stand, turn-around, kiss). Since I’m a full-time student, my Rover calendar is currently limited to weekends and school breaks. That said, many families are comfortable having my partner, Ian, join when he’s available—which allows for a little more flexibility with scheduling. It’s a wonderful setup because Ian works from home (and is basically a dog at heart!), so your pets will almost always have company and care. Rest assured, it will only be me caring for your pets unless we’ve discussed and agreed otherwise. I’m also happy to bring Ian to our meet & greet and provide references upon request! I am responsible for creating a safe space for pets in their home. I make sure that they are comfortable and their boundaries are respected and understood with the guidance of their body language and the wisdom from their humans. About: In 2012 my mother started a dog boarding business out of her own home. I was this businesses number #1 (and in a lot of ways only) Employee. We watched an average of 4 dogs a day not including the dogs me and my mother had that were our own and the fosters we were taking care of as well. We closed down the business in 2021 when we moved and now that I have my own place I'm looking to work with pets again (dogs and cats!). I can not board but I can still do walks and sitting. I'd love to meet and get to know your pets. I work weekends so I am not going to be available most Saturdays and Sundays before 6pm. On the flip side I am completely open on any weekday for walking or sitting. I can make any of those days work with your schedule. I won't be able to take care of your pet in my home but I can do whatever is needed of me if I were to take care of your pet in your home.
