About: Ever since I was a kid, I've loved animals. Growing up, my family had both cats and dogs, and I always enjoyed getting to know their unique personalities. I spent time playing with them, caring for them, and even drawing them. In 2014, I adopted my first pet as an adult, Momo, a sweet cat with short legs and a big personality. In 2020, our family grew again with Oogi, a playful corgi. Through caring for them, I gained years of hands-on experience with feeding routines, exercise, enrichment, grooming, training, and veterinary care. Oogi and I completed multiple training classes together, and I spent time learning about dog behavior and body language to better understand and communicate with dogs. I also cared for Momo throughout his senior years, including administering medications and supporting him through medical treatments. As a home-based artist, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and care throughout the day. I understand how important pets are because mine have always been family, and I will treat your pets with the same love, patience, and respect I would want for my own. My days typically include working from home, which means I can provide regular attention, companionship, walks, playtime, feeding, and check-ins throughout the day. Before each booking, I take time to learn your pet's routines, preferences, medications, and any special instructions. I pay close attention to safety, keep doors and gates secure, monitor behavior and health, and make sure pets receive the care and attention they need. I treat every home with respect and will provide regular updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: I'm taking a break from being a lawyer and have been running with all my friends' dogs while they're at work. It brings me so much joy, so now I'm here! I usually aim for an hour-long walk/run (not including transportation time) based on what the pup is up for, and can do on/off leash runs depending on what pet parents are comfortable with/the specific trails. I have a few trails I love, but am happy to explore new ones near you! This is something I'm doing because it brings me joy and keeps me outside. I love that there are so many amazing trails in Oakland/Berkeley and want to explore as many as possible. I have an indoor-outdoor cat who is the light of my life! Because of him I only care for other animals outside of my own home :)

About: I’ve grown up around cats and dogs my whole life, and currently have 2 kitties at home. I love getting to know each animal, and experiencing the cuddles and love each have to give. One of my favorite times of day is playtime- I feel like they always come alive and it’s so fun to be a part of. I have also done a lot of overnight cat/ house sitting as well! I’m currently working part-time and have a few other side gigs, so this works into my routine perfectly! I love the flexibility of pet sitting. I know that some animals especially cats are more sensitive than others, and I like to give them plenty of grace and space to get to know me and become comfortable with me. I know animals are all unique with their personalities and limits and I always try to respect what they show me they are okay with. I am comfy with daily visits and also overnight stays.

One of my earliest challenges was with my parents’ high-energy dog — I successfully trained him not to bolt out the door when it opened 🚪🐕 (no small feat!). I’m skilled at reading dog body language 🐕‍🦺 so I can keep pups comfortable and stress-free. I’m available on weekends, as well as Mondays and Fridays. I’m also happy to stay over on Monday nights, as long as you don’t need me to stay past 8am the following morning. When I care for pets in your home, I follow your instructions closely to keep their routine consistent. I make sure they have fresh water, regular meals, and plenty of exercise and playtime. I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level, so I can adapt my approach to their needs. I also give lots of affection (if they enjoy it!) and keep their environment clean and safe. You’ll get updates with photos so you know they’re happy and cared for while you’re away.
