About: Spending time with animals has always been one of my greatest joys. I’ve had pets all my life—cats and my own dog—and even without one in my current apartment, I stay closely connected through a few long-standing clients whose homes and pets I’ve cared for over the past ten years. I’ve said goodbye to some of their longtime companions and now care for the new animals who have joined their families. My Rover availability is limited, and I take on only a small number of additional stays so every animal receives my full attention. love all animals, but dogs hold a special place for me. Their calm, steady presence brings out the best in me—lifting my mood, grounding my energy, and reminding me of what matters. They also make wonderful companions for my active, nature-filled lifestyle. I work for a small biotech startup and also run a life-coaching practice, which gives me a flexible and balanced schedule. I genuinely enjoy staying in new homes and exploring different neighborhoods with a furry companion by my side. During the week, I keep a regular gym routine, and many of my weekends are spent climbing in Yosemite—a reminder of how much I love nature and being outdoors. I maintain an active daily walking routine that your dog will happily join, and together we can explore nearby parks, beaches, and all the beauty the Bay Area has to offer. When I’m home, I’m quiet and content with a good book or cooking a simple meal, and I’m always glad to offer a comfortable lap to any cat who wants it. As a former homeowner and someone who regularly cares for friends’ homes over major holidays, I understand what it takes to look after someone’s space respectfully and responsibly. I’m clean, organized, and communicative, and I treat every home I stay in with the same attention and care I would expect for my own. I’m happy to provide updates as often—or as little—as you prefer. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I split my time between working from home and going into my nearby office for a few hours when needed. I typically take dogs for a morning walk before starting my workday and another in the afternoon. I do go to the gym in the late afternoon for about two hours, so there’s a window when I’m away, but the rest of my schedule is flexible and allows me to be consistently present and attentive with the animals I care for. When I stay in a client’s home, I follow the routine their pet already knows—regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I keep the home clean, organized, and treat it with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I provide updates as often as clients prefer, and I make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and well-attended to throughout the stay.

About: Hiya, I'm Peter! I've cared for dogs for as long as I can remember, and have since provided countless hours of pet-care of friends, family, friends of the family, and families of friends! I have years of experience doing walks, play, feeding, bathing, clean-up and more. I have experience with excitable breeds like a neighbor's golden doodle to my family's mellowed-out portugese water doggies, along with senior care. I see animal care as a privilege. Our pets are no less than little bundles of feelings and life that we are given the opportunity to cherish. I have been told on multiple occasions that I am able to calm animals unusually quickly, and I feel that I am attuned to the emotions of animals I care for. I would love to opportunity to provide care to your pet! I work from home in a low-speed position, so I have a flexible schedule for your pets' needs. Normally, I would do a morning and afternoon walk, with potty breaks peppered whenever they need. I can also step away from my work at a moment's notice if anything arises, from entertaining a bored doggie to foiling attempted counter surfing! I have a paved yard for sunbathing and potty breaks, the door to which I work right next to. I live near Lake Merritt, the Morcom Rose Garden, and a dog park, so I can provide walks of all lengths. My home is very cozy and has multiple spaces where an animal can detox from any overstimulation. I can provide a dog crate, scheduled meals, supervision, and play.

About: I have experience walking two bigger dogs,and cat sitting. The two dogs were blonde Retriever mixs one is a boy and his name is Blue. He is 6 years old and is about 90lbs. The other dogs name is Anika. She is about 70 pounds and is about 3-4 years old. Furthermore, Ive watched an older long haired cat that needed more attention because he needed mesicine and had a strict feeding schedule. During the summer I am available 7 days a week. Hrs after summer will be posted closer to fall/ Early August. Hoping to make/ meet regular clients If im walking dogs I make sure the dog doesnt chase cats,squirrels, or any other small animals. I make sure they are well fed and hydrated after returning from the walk. If the owner instructs me to do anything otherwise I do that as well. For cat sitting/dog sitting, I will do all things needed to ensure the well being of the pet. (administer any needed medication, go on walks, clean up messes, keep pet entertained)

About: I have had and cared for pets since childhood, rescuing (literally from the streets) a lovely pitbull named Olive when I lived in Philadelphia. Moved to CA in May 2026 from East Coast. I recently moved to CA to support my wife’s new job in SF. I have a fully open schedule at the moment and with a love of animals I thought that this would be a better way to learn and love my new community than digging through online job ads. I am willing to sit, play, walk, feed and care for your pets as needed. I’m an active (formerly collegiate) runner and can go as fast or slowly as your pet needs. I have reliable transportation and experience in pet first aid as I recently completed my tenure as an Emergency Manager with the American Red Cross.

About: I'm taking a break from being a lawyer and have been running with all my friends' dogs while they're at work. It brings me so much joy, so now I'm here! I usually aim for an hour-long walk/run (not including transportation time) based on what the pup is up for, and can do on/off leash runs depending on what pet parents are comfortable with/the specific trails. I have a few trails I love, but am happy to explore new ones near you! This is something I'm doing because it brings me joy and keeps me outside. I love that there are so many amazing trails in Oakland/Berkeley and want to explore as many as possible. I have an indoor-outdoor cat who is the light of my life! Because of him I only care for other animals outside of my own home :)
