“Hannah “JoJo” is such a bright, loving energy. She is so willing to work with any dog. I feel peace that she’s able to take my little buddy out for a walk daily. She is also really patient as my pup was nervous at first and has now opened up to her. She will work with any type of dog and make sure each and every one of them feels loved. Thanks for all the updates throughout the walks and being so communicative. Keep up the great work!”

“Esteban is so fabulous. Super kind and friendly - our dog is all wagging tail when Esteban shows up. Would highly recommend him and plan to use him again and again!”

“Hollie did a great job walking Lyla and Daniel. They can be a handful (especially Lyla), and Hollie’s been kind and patient with them. Hollie’s punctual, communicative, and clear with me about what’s happening with the pups! I’m glad that she was able to spend some time with them!”

“Arrived on time, very good communication before and after. She gave Barkerini lots of exercise and he loves her. We're very happy with Madeline and will definitely use her again.”

“Jennifer was lovely, attentive, and a great communicator. We just adopted our dog and he has little bursts of aggression and Jennifer was kind enough to come by before their first walk to test the waters. Everything turned out great and Jennifer sent updates and pictures throughout his walks. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Stephanie has been so great with my dog Maya. After starting a new job and moving to a new city, I didn’t have any support to help with my dog. Stephanie has been so helpful with all these changes. Maya can be a bit nervous around new people but she warmed up to Stephanie really fast and gets so excited to see her! Stephanie is so great- she is a very reliable person, trustworthy, a great communicator and great with dogs. I’m so happy I found her and that Maya really enjoys her company!”

“Christine was absolutely amazing with my very shy/anxious dog. She was patient and gentle with her during the first meeting, and she was available last minute. Definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! I have had dogs since I was young, specifically hounds. My family dog was a Beagle growing up and I am now the proud dog mom of a 9 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. I love dogs of all sizes and truly enjoy spending time with them and taking care of their needs. Especially walks and playtime! I work four days a week in healthcare as a Travel Physical Therapist so I am currently available on weekends and Mondays for drop in visits and dog walks! I love my dog like he is a member of the family and will give your pet the exact same care and consideration. You can expect frequent updates with photos and a description of the day’s events!
“Michelle was very prompt in answering my request for a walk. She arrived on time and was very great with our dog. Looking forward to working together on a reoccurring basis. I would very much recommend working with Michelle.”

“Spirit was very responsive and able to take on a walk for both my dogs last minute! One of my pups can be really shy but Spirit was great with her. Would recommend and definitely book again!”

“Anna was pretty calm and relaxed even though our pup has a hard time when first meeting strangers. She bonded with him quickly and seemed pretty comfortable managing his personality. She also provided updates and pictures. Thank you, Anna!”

“Richard was incredible with our new puppy. Moro can be a bit of a handful, but Richard was so good to him on the walks and provided him with all the care he needed. We really appreciated Richard's timely communication and engaging updates. We even got a helpful doggy report card at the end of our vacation! Moro looks forward to spending more time with Richard in the future.”

About: 6 years ago I adopted my dog, a 6 year old Jindo straight from the shelters in Korea. The process required a lot of patience care and learning. Years later I fostered a puppy for a local rescue organization, a much more easygoing and happy dog, but he came with the puppy experience. He had to be potty trained , crate trained, and taught how to walk with other dogs. It has shown me that each dog has a unique personality that needs to be tend to. I am currently working part time and have a flexible schedule making it convenient and easy to attend to pets for walks group hikes or check ins. Dogs in my care will be supervised, allowed structured playtime, and go on regular outings and adventures. I am able to work with you the owner to get a grasp of what your dog needs and to make sure they are well taken care of . Options include Group hikes Solo walks Or drop ins or house siting

About: Your cats will love me! 😺 ----------------------- Howdy! I have had the great pleasure of loving and taking care of many different pets—horses, reptiles, fish, dogs, and cats. Don’t tell the other species, but I have a special connection with and fondness for felines. (When I was an infant, Isadora the Siamese spooned me while I slept in my cradle. So, I consider myself part kitten.) Cats are my first crush, but sadly, my doggos (senior chihuahuas with attitude) are not cat fans, so I’m seeking out other folks’ kitties to give some affection to. (BTW: My partner volunteers at Oakland Animal Services and fosters unhoused dogs, and most recently, bunnies! -- so, we are an animal rescue family.) I'm versed in pill giving, administering subcutaneous injections (insulin, etc), giving fluids; I also adore all my elder or special needs kittenz. I am highly responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented. I am COVID vaccinated. I provide photo updates, so you can relax and refuel! Another fun fact: Cat Sitting is a full time thing for me; I'm no fly-by-night operation, and I love what I do! I'm available weekdays, weeknights, and weekends. I live near Piedmont Avenue, with easy access to the surrounding neighborhoods. I prefer local, so I can walk, but I do have a vehicle and take my kitty-care most anywhere. From Grand Lake to Piedmont to the Avenue to Temescal and beyond (Rockridge & South Berkeley, I'm looking at you 😺)! Previously, I opened and owned an art framing & gallery space (Panorama, on Grand Avenue); was a commercial photographer; and was a bookseller -- I also currently freelance in the digital realm and pursue art making. If you are traveling for work or for holidays, or need a drop-in when you're not wfh, please reach out! >^•-•^< Any pets who are under my care get the same treatment I would hope for myself—patience, kindness, unconditional love, and acceptance. And, oh yeah, treats. :-)
About: I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, so caring for pets has always been second nature. I’ve spent years helping friends and families with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, learning what makes each one happiest. Whether your pup needs adventure or quiet snuggles, I read their cues, give them lots of attention, and make sure they feel comfortable and loved. Working from home means I have plenty of time for walks, hikes, and play in my peaceful neighborhood. I work for myself at home and have a flexible schedule. I have time to take pups on walks multiple times a day and give them the attention they desire. Whether your pet stays with me or I come to you, I do my best to make things feel familiar and stress-free. I follow your routines closely, including walks, meals, snuggles, and playtime. I want your pet feels at home. I take time to read their cues, whether that means extra cuddles, space to relax, or an adventure outside. My home is calm, cozy, and perfect for lounging, and I always make sure your pet gets the love, attention, and consistency they deserve.
