“Ashley is awesome! She came to my home and took care of my brand new puppy, who has quite a demanding schedule. I was a super anxious new puppy mom and she put me at ease, kept me updated, and was super flexible and accommodating. Basil loved her and I felt like he was in great hands. Absolutely recommend!”

“Hollie took excellent care of my foster pup Luna over the holidays. She sent regular updates and photos, checked in if any questions came up, and generally gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Luna also has a medical issue that requires very specific administration of supplements to her food. I came home to a happy, healthy, relaxed dog. I highly recommend Hollie!”

“Christina was the perfect sitter. We were a bit hesitant about using the app since it was our first time, but it was totally worth it, especially with a sitter like Christina. She sent us constant pictures and updates of our fur baby's. We were very happy with her service and will definitely be using her again!!”

“It’s nice to see my pup’s comfort and engagement with Brady grow. It is helping me to have time to get some things done and also helping my pup learn to connect with others while being treated for separation anxiety. A win all around. Brady gives great feedback on my little guy’s behavior.”

“Sam was wonderful with Ivy! From start to finish, she was attentive and caring, and it was clear that Ivy was in great hands. I would definitely book with Sam again and recommend her without hesitation to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“Kendra is awesome. First time using her services but she was very thorough and wrote down all the details to the care of my dog Ella. She was quick to respond to texts and sent updates throughout her stay with Ella. Normally nervous to people I don’t know watching my house and dog, but Kendra demeanor is very reassuring. Responsible, caring, and respectful. My go to for all future sittings. Thanks Kendra!”

“Matt is always great with our dog, Elliott. He was very responsible with Elliott's medication schedule and attentive to his emotional needs. I'll be re-booking Matt for our next trip as well. Thank you, Matt!”

“I had Esteban house sit to look after my big, rambunctious dog Sable for 6 days. Not only did Esteban take amazing care of my dog, he left the house in incredible condition. All my dog’s needs were met, and he sent regular pupdates. I’m a very anxious person and it was my first time using Rover, but Esteban put me at ease and I am so glad I decided to go with him. I would 100% use Esteban again if I ever leave town. I believe it’s safer and easier on my dog than boarding her at a dog hotel. You da man, Esteban!”

“Charlii is a fabulously professional house and cat sitter! She has fantastic knowledge of plants and how to take care of them (which is a real treat for my urban jungle collection). My cat was very happy with Charlii’s company for the long weekend I was away, and a bit sad her new friend wasn’t there once I came home. Charlii sent thorough daily updates and pictures and had great professional communication before and after the sitting job. 100% recommend!”

“Josie was a great house-sitter! Very appreciative of her flexibility with scheduling, and she took great care of my dog, who’s still learning how to meet new people and be away from me.”

“This was my second time using Isaiah’s house-sitting service, and everything was perfect! Isaiah exceeded expectations both times, and is basically the perfect pet-sitter. ❤️❤️❤️”

“Our dog was tired and happy! Cara seemed to take good care of her, and was sweet and considerate when she had to deal with our dog having a surprise incontinence issue on our bed one night. We appreciated Cara a lot!”

“Meshaal was a wonderful dog and house sitter! He has a calm demeanor and is very professional. He took excellent care of our senior dog who has some health needs and took care of all his medications with no issues. He also promptly responded to all our check in messages. Our dog loved Meshaal and and was crying when he left! Meshaal also left our house better than we left it. Looking forward to rebooking with Meshaal again in the future. Would definitely recommend Meshaal to others!”
“Cesar did a great job on the almost week long housesit! All the pets seemed happy and healthy when I got home (including the asthmatic cat). He clearly walked/ played with the highish energy German shepherd mix really well, since she settled down a lot faster than usual when I returned home. Cesar was very communicative and we got lots of photo and videos updates of the pets. I really appreciated how thorough he was during the meet and greet. He has a lot of very thoughtful questions prepared. Cesar was able to handle a minor home maintenance issue that popped up due to an overactive earthquake gas shut off valve, saving us a plumber visit on a holiday weekend. He also did a great job cleaning up after himself.”

“Shelly was calm and confident at our meet and greet, and followed our instructions for care of our dog - above and beyond! She sent photos, and Magpie was clearly a very happy girl upon our return. Everything in our home was tidy, everything put back in its place even though the dog can be a bit messy, and she even remade the bed with clean sheets. So appreciate this as I was getting back quite late. Magpie will definitely be seeing Shelly again!”

“Dennis did an awesome job caring for our special needs dog who suffers from DM. Our dog needs the assistance of a wheelchair for mobility, and Dennis took on the challenge confidently- with patience and understanding. He sent plenty of pictures and updates, and followed our instructions perfectly. I highly recommend!”

Piedmont Avenue pet parents share their Rover experiences
Robert was great. He stepped in to care for our cat last minute after she'd been to the ER 2 days before our trip. Openly communicative, he brought up good questions and didn't hesitate to ask. Minelli is new to taking 3 pills a day, and Robert was up for the challenge. When we got back, Minelli was happy, her food and water bowls full, and the house was better than we left it. Thank you so much for taking care of our girl.

My fur babies love Frances! She was able to house sit for us for a quick weekend away. My two anxious cats and dog all warmed up to her immediately! She left my house spotless and sent many updates and photos. Can't recommend Frances enough. I will be re-booking her again!

We are so happy to have found Kendra on Rover and cannot recommend her enough to others! Long story: Our original boarding plans fell through and one of our sitters canceled on us a few days before our international trip. We were so stressed looking for someone trustworthy to look after our dog, Shelly, on such a last minute notice. Since it was Shelly’s first time away from family, we wanted to make sure she would be comfortable with her sitters. Kendra was willing to squeeze in a last minute trip over to our house at night for a m&g (which I happily tipped her for)! Upon meeting, I could tell right away that she is serious and passionate about her work. We appreciated all the notes she took down, questions she asked, and the time she took to get to know Shelly and earn her trust. We felt assured that our dog (family) would be in good hands. During the house sitting session (~4-5 days), Kendra kept me updated often on Shelly (as requested) and was quick to respond to any questions and concerns. As it was also our first time away from Shelly for an extended time, we were overly concerned and sent Kendra quite a lot of messages. She was very understanding and accommodating to our needs and requests. We were also worried about how Shelly would do around strangers (as she is easily scared/not a fan of strangers petting her), but she seemed to have taken a liking to Kendra pretty quickly. We loved seeing videos of her happily playing fetch with Kendra in our backyard and accepting scratches and pets from her. All in all, we would gladly have Kendra look after Shelly again in the future!

Shayna is the greatest! She watched my two kitties / housesat for a week while we were out of town. This was our first time having Shayna sit for us and we truly had the most wonderful experience - she was so kind, thoughtful, communicative and trustworthy. A few days before our booking started, we sadly had to put my third cat down, and Shayna was so kind/supportive - she checked in on us and helped us navigate updating the Rover booking. During the booking, Shayna spent a ton of time with our cats giving them so much attention and playing / cuddling with them a ton which really put me at ease as I was worried about how our cats would do given the recent loss of our other cat. She sent us daily pictures and updates about how everything was going and was super communicative. We came back home to very happy kitties and a clean house - couldn’t have asked for more. We really hope to have Shayna cat sit for us again in the future!!

Samantha took great care of my cat while I was away. Saroo can be a little mischievous, so I really appreciated how careful and attentive she was and how closely she followed my instructions to keep everything secure. I came home to a happy kitty and a home that was left super clean and tidy. I would definitely book with her again!

Dennis was without a doubt the best dog sitter we have ever had. He came highly recommended from some friends of ours. It felt so reassuring to have someone so trustworthy, responsible, and skilled with our dog, Rosie. We appreciate his reliability and communication throughout his care for Rosie and he left our home in fantastic condition. We have had different dog sitters over the years and Dennis is in a league of his own! We hope we can work with him again in the future!

Lucy was an outstanding pet sitter for our dog Willow during our trip out of town. She stayed at our house the entire time and took excellent care of Willow, making sure she received her medicine on schedule, got plenty of walks and playtime, and received lots of attention and affection. Lucy was very responsive throughout the stay, quickly replying to our check-in messages and sending regular photo updates that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. She also left the house spotless and tidy. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily book Lucy again.

Irina helped out enormously when I was stuck due to a blizzard and unable to come home in time. She extended her care an extra night to stay with my cat who gets panic attacks if left alone overnight, and connected me to another sitter to come be with my cat for the rest of the nights till I was able to get back home. She took care of all the details to support the new sitter so I could be assured everything was taken care of. She really came through when we needed her most, and I am so deeply grateful! Highly recommend!

Isaiah is a seriously amazing catsitter. I think my cats might prefer him over me. He's really attentive to each of them and learns their personalities. He didn't mind my cats waking him up for nighttime snuggles. He's also very communicative and sent me tons of lovely photos and updates while I was away. He's also friendly and easy to work with. Thank you so much Isaiah!
