I'm also happy to take your dog on adventures if you're comfortable with it :) I'm currently looking for work, so I can be present as much as your pets need me to be. I only need to leave the house to go to the gym or sports practice. About: While I'm new to Rover, I have over 10 years experience taking care of my friends and family's cats, dogs, insects, and plants. I'm excited to start this business on Rover and extend that pet/plant care to the people in my East Bay community! I'm a landscape horticulture student in Oakland, so when I'm not in class, working in my garden, or spending time with my own kitties, I love taking care of my friends, neighbors, and families' pets. They bring so much silliness and happiness into my routine! When walking your dogs or taking care of your pets in your home, respect, safety, and trust are my top priorities. “Cesar did a great job on the almost week long housesit! All the pets seemed happy and healthy when I got home (including the asthmatic cat). He clearly walked/ played with the highish energy German shepherd mix really well, since she settled down a lot faster than usual when I returned home. Cesar was very communicative and we got lots of photo and videos updates of the pets. I really appreciated how thorough he was during the meet and greet. He has a lot of very thoughtful questions prepared. Cesar was able to handle a minor home maintenance issue that popped up due to an overactive earthquake gas shut off valve, saving us a plumber visit on a holiday weekend. He also did a great job cleaning up after himself.”

John was a superstar house and pet sitter. This was the first time we used Rover and the first time we have ever had a house sitter, and John made us feel at ease right away. He is extremely responsive and responsible. He is detail oriented and he took excellent care of our home and our house full of animals- our kitties, fish, and our recently rescued pup. He went out of his way to check in with us and send cute photos and updates while we were away. Most importantly, John was so patient and kind with our new-to-us pup who needs a lot of TLC. We highly recommend John!
Sara was a wonderful cat sitter! This was the longest I’d ever been away from my cat Hopper but she put my mind at ease - Sara was a great communicator, sent cute photo and video updates, and kept on top of Hopper’s health. She also took great care of my apartment. Hopper definitely has a new bestie. I’d highly recommend booking with Sara!
Elisa was wonderful with our Chow Chow, Poppy. Chows can be a little reserved with new people, but Elisa was incredibly patient, calm, and understanding, which helped Poppy feel comfortable. She kept us updated with messages and photos throughout the stay, and it was clear Poppy was well cared for and happy. She also took great care of our home and was thoughtful, reliable, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We came home to a relaxed dog and everything exactly as we left it, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Feel so lucky to have found Rich! He took wonderful care of my dog, Tova. He sent daily photos and I knew she was in good hands while I was away. I came back home to a clean house and a thorough report on Tova’s behavior. Rich clearly loves animals and has a keen sense of their needs.
Tenzin stayed at my place and took care of my rescue dog for the weekend. She left my home even cleaner than she found it and truly went above and beyond with housekeeping. She did everything I asked in caring for my dog, but it's difficult to speak to how the stay actually went because there was little communication during or after the stay about how my dog was doing, how they bonded, and if there were any challenges or notable moments. That said, she was responsive when I reached out during the stay and got the sense that things went smoothly.
Adela has watched out two cats a few times now and she’s always so wonderful! She answers messages quickly, sends lots of pictures and follows all their care instructions so well ❤️✨she also house sits for us and sleeps overnight at the house to make sure its secure and our boys are safe! We highly reccommend her! ✨
Bryanna was A-MAZ-ZING. she sent me multiple updates a day along with photos and videos. My kitty can get sad and low energy when I travel, so it was so nice to see her engage burger with playtime and toys! My house was super clean after she left so will 100% be hiring Bryanna again!
Emilia and Ion are a super team! They do a great job for our weekly walks and an even better job as house & pet sitters! They visiting our two dogs 4x daily and generously kept them company inbetween visits too! They even watered our garden! I couldn’t ask for a single thing more in a sitter and will definitely be using them again
Rob was the BEST sitter. He went above and beyond in every respect -- from meeting the girls twice before his sit to make sure they were comfortable with him, to sending us pics and updates throughout his stay, to making sure our home was perfect upon our arrival, he exceeded our expectations. Our girls loved him, and they were happy, well exercised, and healthy when we got home. Definitely would recommend Rob as a doggy sitter for everyone!
Ella took wonderful care of our dogs, Ollie and Rocco, for two weeks while we were away. We came home to a spotless house and two very happy, well-cared-for dogs.
