“Ashley is awesome! She came to my home and took care of my brand new puppy, who has quite a demanding schedule. I was a super anxious new puppy mom and she put me at ease, kept me updated, and was super flexible and accommodating. Basil loved her and I felt like he was in great hands. Absolutely recommend!”

“Cathy always does such an amazing job caring for our pups and our home! We have a young, energetic dachshund as well as a senior dachshund with dementia, which means Cathy has her hands full when she comes to stay. The dogs are so happy and healthy when we return, and our home is clean and well cared for. We wouldn’t book with anyone else!”

“He followed all of my instructions to a T and was a great house guest. I really appreciate how fast he communicated with me throughout the process. My dog normally barks at people and his calm presence was a nice fit to keep Kuta calm.”

“Never any issues with charlii! Give me a very helpful update on her new wet food, which I can now monitor more closely. I wish I could have her come every single time. She’s really the best.”

“Dane agreed to dog sit for me at the last minute when my dog was having some health issues and I was worried about leaving him alone. Dane was so positive, friendly, and attentive! I will definitely seek him out in the future with any dog sitting needs.”

“Anais took excellent care of our pets and home while we were away for the weekend. Our dog can be a little finicky and needs a lot of company, but Anais was enthusiastic about getting to know his routine and we arrived home to find relaxed animals and the house just like we left it (she even washed her sheets - really not necessary!). Thanks Anais!”

“Victoria was an excellent sitter! She did a great job taking care of our very energetic dog and was communicative throughout our trip. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Meshaal was a wonderful dog and house sitter! He has a calm demeanor and is very professional. He took excellent care of our senior dog who has some health needs and took care of all his medications with no issues. He also promptly responded to all our check in messages. Our dog loved Meshaal and and was crying when he left! Meshaal also left our house better than we left it. Looking forward to rebooking with Meshaal again in the future. Would definitely recommend Meshaal to others!”

“G’La was amazing! She took such great care of Tuna and Finn while we were away for two nights and two and a half days. I felt totally at ease knowing they were in good hands. She was communicative, kind, and clearly loves animals — Tuna and Finn were so calm and happy when we got back. Couldn’t recommend her more. Will definitely be reaching out again!”

“Ariana was amazing! Took out booking very last minute and took the best care of our dogs! Great communication, lots of photos, and she left a really sweet drawing of them. Highly recommend!!”

“This was my second time working with Zsa-Zsa and she was great! Her communication leading up to the stay and during the stay was thorough and detailed. My dogs were excited to see her when she arrived at the house; that’s always a good sign!”

About: Hi my name is Samantha (Sam) and I’m 33 y/o and live in Oakland. I have two years work experience at a doggy daycare/kennel along with working at a family owned pet store in Evanston for four years; I have familiarity with birds, reptiles, rabbits, small animals of all kinds you name it I’ve cared for them. Raised in the Chicagoland area but have lived in the East bay for the last four. I used to foster dogs every now and then through North Shore Waggin. My companion and best friend crossed over the rainbow bridge April 2024 after eleven and half years together. I have a car, a flexible schedule, and a knack for dogs. I promise to responsibly love and care for your pet so you don’t need to worry while you’re away! Feel free to ask me questions so I can get to know you and your pet :) * If you are rebooking a service, my price will stay the same as the original booking. I work around the east bay area and have my hand in all sorts of honey pots! I rarely work more than 6 hours total a day, and no more than 3 to four hours at a time. An average potty time walk would be anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. I try make time for one leisure walk a day which lasts to a minimum an hour. Cuddle/play time is a must! I have a lot of breaks throughout the day to check in and give your pet the attention it deserves Animals like routine, so I try my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. If your pet is social and friendly, I would love to incorporate social time with them. Take them out to a café or to a park. We'll try to do all the things they would do with you!

“There aren’t enough words to express just how attentive and amazing Quishu is: Positive, dynamic personality with an ability to get zen when needed. She’s the kind of personality our beagles need. She followed all our doggie care and home instructions, it was such peace of mind. She sent frequent photos and videos which showed us that our adopted and often timid beagles trusted her, felt safe with her and were actually being their true goof ball selves. Most sitters think they’ll try to “fix” their issues which never works and creates a tense dynamic, but Qishu didn’t appear to judge us for all our instructions and expectations. She respected our requested level of care and the beagles and her bonded. Thank you Qishu!!”

“Michael took amazing care of our 5 month old high energy puppy and two cats while we were away! We received updates every day and he was easily reached. He was very professional and left our house better than he found it. Would 100% book again next time we need a sitter”

“Dennis was a wonderful house and pet sitter for us while we were away for a week. He took good care of our two dogs and two cats so we could actually have a relaxing vacation, knowing they and our home were in good hands. We will definitely book him again.”

“Best dog sitter ever!”

“I’m so happy Korin had availability to watch Leo and Oscar! I had never left one of my dogs with a sitter before and he can be shy and nervous. She was great with both of them, super communicative, professional, and friendly. Can’t recommend enough!”

“She followed through on our agreed upon care plan.”

“Melina was wonderful taking care of my special needs chihuahua. She sent me video and picture updates every day, several times a day (which I so appreciated). She made sure my dog took her medications on time and was thoughtful about all of her needs. She was responsive and so easy to coordinate with. I will definitely be utilizing Melina’s services again.”

About: Our pets are family. My approach is a balance of attention and simple structure that makes for happy socialization. My partner and I have always had cats and dogs and I have experience with everything from puppyhood to the special healthcare challenges of senior pets (including administration of oral meds and injected insulin) I used to walk dogs back in college as a part-time job. Now, I am excited to make some new 4-legged friends and get out for some exercise together. I work from home part-time and with a very flexible schedule. If staying with us, in addition to walks, your doggie will have full access to the yard during the day to sunbathe and play. If house sitting at yours, I will be on hand with your pet at a minimum in the morning, for a few hours mid-day, and then all evening and night. We have a large fenced yard and two small, friendly pups (9lb young female yorkie and 12lb female coton de tulear) to play with. "The girls" are not crated at night, but I am happy to set up your pup's normal sleeping area if staying with us. For dog walking, I do adventures with priority given to clients located in Oakland's Laurel, Dimond, Maxwell Park, and Redwood Heights neighborhoods. Ideally, your dog loves walking with some friends, but we can customize for personal pup needs.

“Not only would Samantha be an awesome dog walker/sitter for your dog, she also has a dog herself so she knows what she's doing. She has also fostered several different dog breeds/mixes and understands how different dog breeds can act. Samantha is an experienced and amazing dog owner/dog walker. She takes them for the best walks out around the neighborhood or in the forest preserve. If you want a dog walker who not only takes your dog for fun walks, but genuinely cares and treats your dog right...then choose Samantha!”
