“Kayla did a great job watching our dogs. We received plenty of updates and photos. Kayla was flexible in giving our dog medication Kylo received right before our trip. The whole process was very smooth and we will definitely book with Kayla again!”

“Cara did such a wonderful job taking care of my 4 cats and dog while I was away. She was communicative, thoughtful, and sent lots of updates and photos that made me feel so much more relaxed. My dog Maverick is usually very nervous around strangers, but he really warmed up to her by the end, which says a lot. I came home to very happy, well cared for pets and I’d absolutely trust her with them again.”

About: I come from parents who did Alaskan dog mushing with over 20 dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and have experience with many breeds. I know how to train, help with senior care, and provide any advice you’re looking for. I’m currently working part time, so I can quickly adapt to any pet or house needs you might have. I’m also very physically active so any further exercise is welcome! After growing up with dogs in the Alaskan wilderness surrounded by moose, I definitely have good habits of staying aware of my surroundings. I’ll be able to fully dedicate myself to your requests!
“Christine took perfect care of all 5 of our furbabies! We had her stay at our home with them and not only did she take great care, but respected our home and even cleaned up around the place for us. She provided great updates as well. Five animals is no small feat so I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Nicole took such great care of my dog while I was out. From the initial booking request through the end of her stay, she responded quickly and provided updates and photos. I returned home to a clean house and of course, a happy and relaxed dog. I would not hesitate to hire Nicole again in the future.”

“Terrell was absolutely amazing with our pups! We're so grateful that we were able to take a last-minute trip and knew instantly that Terrell is a pro the moment we met her. We have an old Min Pin that needs a little extra care and a chihuahua that can be a handful, so Terrell kindly agreed to housesit. Terrell sent photos everyday and updates on how everyone was doing. Definitely helped put us at ease and have such a blast on our trip. Since our pups didn't drive her too crazy, we can't wait to book her again for an upcoming trip in January. Thank you, Terrell!!”

“Qishu was great with my dog! She has a hard time warming up to new people and Qishu was very patient with her and gave her lots of extra TLC. I got lots of pics and updates so I knew she was in good hands. Would definitely recommend and book again!”
“Josie is an absolute angel! Not only did Josie take great care of Bowie, but also went above and beyond by picking him up from the previous sitter that gave her the wrong pickup instructions, persevered to find and pick up Bowie, and took him to the vet to make sure Bowie is okay due to our worries with the previous sitter, all with amazing communication and accommodating last minute requests. We later found out that Josie‘s perseverance and undeterred help might have saved Bowie‘s life. She even nursed Bowie back to health by encouraging him to eat and giving lots of love. Josie was also super respectful and tidy with our apartment while sitting Bowie at our place. She even stayed with Bowie for 8 hours every day to make sure that Bowie gets enough play, attention, and love. She even made a great effort to clean the little accident Bowie had when he wasn’t feeling well. She sent plenty of updates with Bowie and took great care of our dog. We are eternally grateful to Josie and would recommend her to everyone.”

About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!
About: I work from my home, which has a huge backyard for dogs to run around and explore. The backyard is fully fenced-in, to the point where my mother’s 5lb yorkies haven’t been able to find a way to sneak out. I have 2 male dogs that live with us; a 20lb, 14yo Cavalier King and a 30lb, 5yo Mini Golden Dooddle. The Cavalier King loves to eat & sleep, the Golden Doodle loves to play, and I love everything in between. Your dog(s) can come on group walks with mine or I can take them on their own separate walks. With a huge backyard, daycare clients are guaranteed the return of an exhausted pup upon pick-up. Brodie can charm the most anti-social dog into playing, but knows his boundaries and let’s dogs roam the yard on their own. I’m available almost every day except for the occasional work trip. Working from home provides me the opportunity to spend hours upon hours outside with my dogs. When the weather’s right, we spend all day outside. Outside naps are the best! As mentioned, the yard is fully fenced in. Along with 5 fruit trees and 3 gardening beds, the backyard is filled with an abundance of dog-safe plants. I treat your pet the way I treat my own and provide pictures throughout the day.
“Tami stayed with my two cats for one week and she made my time away stress free. She was in communication multiple times daily to let me know what they were up to and sent lots of pictures. When I got home at the end of the week, the cats were relaxed and happy. No problems at all. I highly recommend Tami!”

“I’ve had Barbara house sit with my animals two times now, and she has been communicative and helpful each time. I was running around before my trip and I forgot to leave her instructions in my home, but she was super understanding and helpful when I reached out with notes on medication and food. I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Honestly there’s nothing I can say to convey how wonderful and at ease our dog was with him. He was attentive to our fur baby and treated him like we would. It was nice to enjoy our night out and not have to worry about our dog because we knew that Thomas was everything and more than we can ask for in a dog sitter. Our fur baby was truly in good hands.”

“Highly recommend Jena as a dog sitter! She was so good with my dogs, made sure to keep me updated, and sent pics everyday. She was also super responsive and took extra care with my new rescue pup! I will definitely reach out to her in the future!”

“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Joaquin Miller Park
This is the second time we have had Atusa stay at our home and she is beyond lovely! She communicates so well with our family and lets us know how the animals are doing. We appreciate her very much and are so thankful we found her on this app. I completely trust her with my animals and my home.

Elizabeth was great with our animals - a big girl dog and two cats. She was very respectful of our space - it looked as clean as we’d left it. More importantly, our animals were very very happy when we got home! She sent good daily updates - wonderful communicator. We highly recommend and would welcome her back to our home.

Anais was a great choice for caring for our dog Drew. She was communicative and provided lots of updates and we came back to a clean home exactly as we left it. She was also available with only a couple weeks notice which we appreciated when we had another sitter fall through. I’d gladly have her again.

Christine did a wonderful job taking care of our older dog for 10 days while we were away. She followed all of our instructions carefully, was very kind and attentive, and clearly cared about our dog's well-being. When we returned, our dog was happy, relaxed, and in great spirits, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Christine also left the house extremely clean and well cared for. We really appreciated her reliability and communication throughout our trip. We would gladly have her watch our dog again and highly recommend her to others.
David and Mabel took excellent care of our 2 year old lab. It was great knowing our puppy was comfortable at home with professional and thoughtful care. They understand dogs, how to care for them and the importance of communicating with the pet parents. Our home was left cleaner than when we left, which we greatly appreciated! We will definitely continue to use them when we are away!

I have never used Rover before and Erin by far exceeded every expectation I had. We had her stay with our newly adopted dog for two nights and our dog loved her. We had our neighbors help out before and our dog wouldn't let them near her, but with Erin, our dog was her sweet self. Erin was punctual and made me feel at ease right away. She also left our house just as we left it. I would highly recommend Erin for any pet sitting needs.

Madeline did an amazing job watching our two cats and dogs while my husband and I were out of town. She made sure to always check in and give the best updates. I always believe animals are great judges of character and all four of our animals took to her right away.
