About: Greetings! I'm Patrick. I've done a bunch of pet and house sitting on another platform, as well as for family, friends and acquaintances, besides having my own pets or sharing them with past partners. I used to practice massage therapy and reiki. I bring a similar intention to handling pets that I brought to responding to clients needs. About: I have experience with cats who are particularly anxious, I am able to provide much more than just feeding and regular care tasks. I have experience with emotional regulation for anxious cats and dogs , and I’m able to provide extra attention through extended stays, diverse kinds of play, and overnight care. I also have prior experience with elderly dogs who need special accommodation. I work only 2 days a week, and have a very open flexible schedule at the moment. I can provide a wide range of services, my most notable experience is working with anxious pets who need extra attention and love! For dogs, I prefer to take dogs on multiple walks (ideally 3 walks per day) to encourage lots of activity, I can encourage socializing if needed. For cats, I love to drop in and play, give affection or just coexist as needed!

About: I have taken care of friends and neighbors pets since I was a kid and love to have a fur friend around. Happy to take them out and walk and explore nature. I like to run and hike and bike and a companion on the way is a bonus. They will be greeted with calm warmth and care. I work on trips and when I am home I am home and can be flexible about where I work. This allows me to be present to the pets I care for and to adjust to their needs. I will probably have a run or workout at some point in the day or meet a friend but am quite present. I have a fenced backyard and live by myself in a peaceful quiet space. I enjoy a walk with a fur friend to get out and move and consider it a bonus to have a buddy along.

About: I’m the devoted doggie aunt to some pretty fantastic pups, and I genuinely love spending time with dogs. Walks aren’t something I rush through—I’m happy to let your dog sniff, explore, get some exercise and enjoy being outside. I’m dependable, attentive and comfortable following your dog’s particular routine, whether that means a brisk walk, a leisurely neighborhood sniffari, playtime or just some extra company and affection. I’ll treat your pup like one of my own—even though I’m still waiting for one of my own! My schedule is currently very flexible, which means I can accommodate weekday and weekend visits and walks, including daytime hours when many people are at work. I’m happy to work around your pet’s established routine and give them the time and attention they’re accustomed to. I know that trusting someone with your pet—and access to your home—is a big deal. I’m mature, dependable, communicative and respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I follow instructions carefully, pay attention to changes in behavior, and know how to stay calm if something unexpected happens. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets with patience, kindness and affection.

About: I enjoyed house-sitting for various friends and family through college. I grew up owning a dog, and my ASD-focused high school had a weekly dog class requirement that, in addition to simple training classes, used dogs as a metaphor for understanding nonverbal communication. Because of that, I can easily intuit how animals are feeling in a given moment. I always approach cats and dogs with a calm persona, trying to meet them on their level. Happy to be either a cuddle buddy or a meal ticket! I was recently laid off from my 9-5, and I’ve decided to switch my gears for a while. I’m available almost full-time. However, I am a freelance musician with an infrequent and unpredictable performance schedule. I’ll always strive to keep my availability as up-to-date as possible to avoid any potential surprises. As I stated previously, I’m always working to make any animal feel safe around me, and that they can trust me. When I first meet a cat or dog, I always kneel to meet them at their level. At home, I live simply. I’m not ashamed to call myself a homebody. I do practice frequently, but I can take measures to greatly reduce my volume or simply avoid practice during an extended stay, pending any future gigs. I live in a condo right on the estuary, with a walking path that leads right to Jack London Sq. There are other dog owners in the building. It’s a good community, and right by Estuary Park. I may not have a backyard, but it’s a darn good compromise.

“Anais took excellent care of my little blind Yoda over a long weekend I was away. He was a fair amount of work given he still had stitches from eye removal surgery on one eye and was on multiple medications to keep him chill and pain free. She administered all his meds and made sure he was comfortable and stress free for his recovery while I was away for the weekend. She was very flexible as well, since I was supposed to go away the weekend before but had to cancel due to his emergency surgery. She was on board to care for him the following weekend instead and worked with me up to the last minute to be sure I felt he was well enough for me to leave at all. Will hire Anais again and again!”
