About: We've designed our experience a little differently than most. Rather than filling our home with multiple unfamiliar dogs, we intentionally host just one dog (or one family's dogs) at a time. We made this decision because we know separation can be hard. Our goal is to give every guest a calm, relaxing vacation while giving their humans peace of mind knowing their pup has our full attention. My husband Cameron and I have both been around animals our entire lives and have experience with puppies, seniors, bulldogs, and dogs with special needs. We also have two young kids (ages 3 & 6) who absolutely love animals and know how to be gentle and respectful around them. Whether your dog loves hiking, backyard sniff sessions, playing fetch, or simply curling up on the couch for a nap, we'll happily match their pace. We'll also send plenty of photos and updates throughout their stay because we know being away from your dog isn't always easy. We'd love to meet you both! We keep our schedule intentionally flexible so we can build our day around your dog's routine instead of expecting them to adjust to ours. Your dog's safety is our number one priority. Our backyard is fully fenced and we supervise outdoor time closely. Because we have young children, we've already built our home around safety. Medications, chemicals, and anything potentially dangerous stay locked away, and as a gardener I'm always mindful of which plants are safe and which aren't. If your dog joins us for a walk or an adventure, they'll always be on leash and right by our side. They won't be left unattended anytime, ever. We don't take guest dogs to dog parks or introduce them to unfamiliar dogs. We prefer controlled environments where we know exactly what's going on. About: I had a dog for 15 years and while we are holding out on getting a new one for a few years till we stop traveling so much, we would love to hang with yours periodically when in town! We have a fenced in yard to throw a ball in (and a six and nine year old who never tire in doing so) and love taking walks to all the local Piedmont parks with a pup. My husband is mildly allergic, so unfortunately only able to take in non shedding, hypoallergenic poodle type mixes. And of course dogs need to be kid friendly, but my kiddoes are very sweet and gentle with dogs and will give the dogs lots of pets and affection in return. My husband and I both predominately work from home so there's always someone around to love on a furry friend or take a break to get outside for a walk. I predominately work from home and I love frequent walks with a pup. We live close to many Piedmont parks which is a great place to go and visit other dogs or just explore some new grounds. About: I'm a very responsible middle-aged woman who works from home and would be happy to care for your fur baby. Eventually I'll get a dog of my own! Our household consists of me and my partner, Rocky. We both grew up with pets, but currently don't have any. I work about 15-25 hours a week from home so I have plenty of time throughout the day for walks around the neighborhood and trips to the Alameda dog park. My partner and I are homebodies and enjoy spending time working on our house and gardening. About: Gentle (or jumpy!) giants are my specialty. I’ve spent the last 15 years sharing my life with Bullmastiffs, Dogues de Bordeaux and Cane Corsos from puppyhood to passing. About: I’ve grown up around dogs through friends and family, and have spent significant time caring for my uncle’s dog over the years. I recently completed a weekend dog sitting job through Rover where I helped care for a dog with my girlfriend, giving me direct platform experience. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every dog like my own, and your pet’s comfort and safety is always the priority I’m currently working a professional internship on weekdays, so I’m available for pet care early mornings before 9am, evenings after 6pm, and fully available on weekends. I’m reliable and always communicate clearly about my availability so owners can plan accordingly. I treat every pet as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety and comfort. During walks I keep dogs securely leashed and attentive to their surroundings. For drop-in visits I follow the owner’s routine closely to keep pets comfortable in their own environment. I’m always reachable and send updates with photos so owners have peace of mind.
About: I’ve pet sit dogs of every kind since childhood. I’ve had the pleasure of owning my dog Basco, for the last 10 years, since he was a pup, so I know how much love and responsibility is involved in pet care. He is my best friend, and when your pet is with me they will feel like part of my pack. I owned and cared for nearly every type of pet including, reptiles, small animals and exotics. I volunteer on a horse ranch and my very first job was at a pet store. My neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for over 2 decades. And I am the go-to phone call for pet needs of all my community. I love pets more than people most times and always say hi to every passing pup on the street. I have a dog of my own and frequently take him out for breaks throughout the day. I have a small patio and live in a secure building. About: I have loved animals my whole life! My walls were always adorned with National Geographic photos of my favorite creatures and I longed to one day have my own little wolf pack! I grew up mainly with cats and have a huge adoration for the felines of the world. I once had a three legged cat named Ziggy ( Stardust) whom was my most treasured companion. I always had friends with a lot of dogs who depended on me to love and support them as my own. Currently, I have a 8 year old Black Labrador Retriever named Olive who has been my closest furry friend for years! I truly consider her a part of me. I also have been raising my Yellow Lab pup, Juniper, since she was 8 weeks old. She is now currently 4 years and 2 months old. Raising a puppy has by far been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and I have had so much fun training her! I consider myself a confident two legged friend who knows how to set healthy boundaries so that a pup can become the best they can be! I am a practicing herbalist and my heart is always geared towards healing. I care deeply for the sweet animals in my life! I am currently working part time and am an online student. Generally, I am available some mornings for dog walking and some nights as well. Sitting is a possibility but may be limited to my schedule. Feel free to ask! I like to play a little fetch or tug with them out in the yard or whatever keeps your pup stimulated:) But happy to take a nice long walk when appropriate for your pooch. I am very attentive to all animals and do my best to make them feel comfortable and loved.

Toys are not enough to keep his spazyness under control lol, but after his walk he went strait to bed :) deff will be booking Felicia again for evning walks!”

About: My house is a dog paradise. We have tons of toys, about 10 places for dogs to sleep or lie down, a doggy door, a fenced-in yard, and plenty of space to play! We work from home full-time with our dog Denali, an extremely friendly, fluffy boy who is experienced with other dogs. We usually take Denali on 2-3 walks a day around the neighborhood with plenty of playtime. We keep our eyes on our pets at all times. I have cameras, and having a single-story house helps. Our dog-safe home has plenty of spaces to lie down and play as needed. We can separate dogs and provide toys, treats, and love.
