“Hollie was very flexible about my return timing and did a good job of keeping Sheba on schedule for food and walks. She also shared updates to keep me informed while I was gone, which I really appreciated.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments for over 6 years. Neighbors, friends, and family rely on me to walk, feed, bathe, and provide companionship to their pets. I’m comfortable with high-energy puppies, gentle with seniors, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, loved, and happy while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. I’m currently working from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends, and for drop-ins, walks, or playtime on weekdays. With this open schedule, I can give your pets the time, energy, and attention they deserve without rushing. I provide a safe and loving care with a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends.. My priority is building trust with both pets and owners , keeping pets comfortable, secure, and cared for like they are my own.
“Sam was a wonderful pup and house sitter! We absolutely will be using him again. He sent fun updates, was super responsive, and spoiled our two pups - including a senior boy with medical needs. Plus, our house was absolutely spotless when we got back which was so lovely.”

“Ashley is always incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. In her recent stay at our house with our dog she was also exceedingly generous and accommodating with some last-minute changes, and I especially appreciate her grace and understanding. She is absolutely exceptional!”

“Isaiah was an amazing dog sitter and house sitter. His communication skills are excellent and kept me updated throughout our trip. I didn’t have to worry at all about Raya and I knew she was happy from all the pictures I would get throughout the day. He was also an excellent house guest and left our house as we left it. I will definitely be booking Isaiah again!”

“I had Esteban house sit to look after my big, rambunctious dog Sable for 6 days. Not only did Esteban take amazing care of my dog, he left the house in incredible condition. All my dog’s needs were met, and he sent regular pupdates. I’m a very anxious person and it was my first time using Rover, but Esteban put me at ease and I am so glad I decided to go with him. I would 100% use Esteban again if I ever leave town. I believe it’s safer and easier on my dog than boarding her at a dog hotel. You da man, Esteban!”

“Cara stayed with our new puppy and older cat while we were on our first vacation away from the little one. She did such a wonderful job and we felt so relieved knowing our pets were in such good hands with her. Highly recommend Cara!”

“Yena did such a wonderful job watching our dog Chester while we were away for a long weekend. She was very communicative and made sure to share updates (and photos!) with us throughout the weekend. She even watered our plants all three days and left us some precious instax photos of Chester! We look forward to hiring her again- she’s very responsible and Chester clearly loved her!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Christina watching our dog, Amos, in our home. From the start, her communication was clear and easy, which we really appreciated. She was attentive to his schedule and all care instructions. We loved receiving the frequent photo updates, it was so great to see Amos happy and comfortable while we were gone. We came home to a relaxed pup and a tidy house. We highly recommend her as a dog sitter!”

“Charlii treated Wes and Margot to a wonderful week of walks and playtime when we were away. She provided lots of lovely updates and videos and gave such great care to our two pups 😍”

“My little Taco loved Louis and Louis took care of my pup like his own. He was clear with communication and suggested we meet for a meet and greet which was such a great idea given how mistrustful my Taco can be with strangers. Will absolutely rebook and recommend to others!”

“Tia is an absolute gem of a human! My babies adored her. She was attentive, caring, and so sweet! I have an XXXL dog + a medium o up & a cat & she spent time with each of them, walked the pups twice a day, and made time to play with my kitten. 10/10 recommend- she’s fantastic!”

About: Animals have always been in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up starting with fish, hamsters and guinea pigs to becoming a permanent cat lady. Having a variety pets taught me early on how unique each animal is and how important it is to meet them where they are. I enjoy learning each animal's specific personality and giving them the attention and activity they need to feel happy and cared for. Where I grew up is a very pet dog dominant area. So, although I haven't had dogs as pets personally, I have grown up around them with neighbors, family and friends. Dogs are fun to be around. I love their energetic and quirky personalities. I like that I get to take them on walks, play fetch or go to a park to run wild & free enjoying the outdoors and fresh air. I have experience with long-term care and managing multiple pets at once, both in my home and in other households. I’m comfortable giving medication and following special feeding routines, my own cat takes a pill twice a day, so I understand how important consistency and care are. I take pride in being really attentive. I naturally keep an eye on changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, and I’m quick to notice when something seems off. Your pet’s well-being is always my priority, and I make sure they feel safe, understood, and cared for while you’re away. I’m new to the area and currently in the process of applying for a long-term position, which means my schedule is very flexible right now. While I’m settling in, I’d genuinely love to spend my time caring for animals and giving them the attention they deserve. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, I enjoy building my day around check-ins, feeding times, play sessions, and those small quiet moments that help pets feel safe and understood. Whether your cat or dog needs company during the workday or consistent care while you’re away, I’m able to offer reliable, focused attention. I see pet sitting as more than just a job; it’s something I truly enjoy, and I love being able to help pets feel comfortable and loved while their people are out. When I’m caring for pets my main focus is creating a calm, safe, and predictable environment. I take the time to understand each pet’s routine, comfort level, and personality so I can help them feel secure while you’re away. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely, from feeding schedules and medication routines to playtime preferences and house rules. I’m careful to keep doors, windows, and gates secure, and I always double-check anything related to safety. I like to keep things tidy and consistent so your pet feels relaxed and your home stays just the way you left it. I also stay very observant. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels, and I let you know if something seems different or if I think a change might need attention. You can expect clear communication and regular updates (if you so wish) so you always feel connected to how your pet is doing. Overall, my goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, understood, and well cared for and to give you complete peace of mind while you're away.
“Barbara has taken excellent care of both of anxious/reactive big dog, and our home while we have been out of town. She is reliable and so helpful, I never have concerns leaving Rocky in her care. I recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pups!”

“Angela was amazing! She offered to do a meet and greet before sitting, which was perfect for my dog who is a little wary of new people. I also got plenty of updates and pictures. And I was able to enjoy my time away worry free because she was in such good hands.”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life from the tiny Chihuahua to the massive Great Pyrenees. Friends and family members have used me as a dog sitter and walker. I have worked in several organic ranches and farms where there were several working dogs and so I am used to even the most hyperactive of canines. I am very comfortable with all kinds of dogs and I am very gentle. I’ve found that patience and kindness goes far when it comes to taking care of animals. I am currently recruiting in LA and so I have a very free and flexible availability. I have reliable transportation and have no issue taking jobs on a short notice. I find dogs behave best in a gentle and nourishing environment. While I am currently not able to host dogs at my current residence, I am very comfortable with dog sitting in clients homes. Safety is a huge concern for me and monitoring the dogs to make sure they don’t get themselves into trouble or danger is a first priority.
“Our dog Lottie was very happy spending time with Val, she sent us lots of photos of their adventures, always communicated promptly, and while this was absolutely not necessary, left out place sparkling clean.”

“Stephanie was awesome! We were gone for two weeks and Stephanie stayed in our home and watched Haku. She sent us photos frequently and took great care of our home. We would recommend without hesitation. Thanks, Stephanie!”

Dane was amazing and I’m so relieved to have found such a great sitter on our first go at Rover. He’s extremely communicative and took amazing care of both our cat and dog. We received frequent updates and photos and knew both our babies were in good hands. Our dog was extremely well exercised, and Dane went above and beyond to still check in and greet our cat (while giving her space) who doesn’t do well with people. Dane also went above and beyond to leave our house neater than when he first arrived! Would highly recommend Dane, and I’m so glad to know we have a reliable, trusted sitter for future vacations!

Ashley is always incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and kind. In her recent stay at our house with our dog she was also exceedingly generous and accommodating with some last-minute changes, and I especially appreciate her grace and understanding. She is absolutely exceptional!

Marian was the best cat sitter we've ever had! We were anxious to travel, but once Marian was with our boys and sending super amazing and detailed updates, pictures and videos, we could relax knowing our kitties were safe and loved! One of our cats is very anxious, but he warmed up to Marian quickly and was eating well and playing with her! We would love to book Marian again in the future and definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, responsible and communicative sitter!

Sam was a wonderful pup and house sitter! We absolutely will be using him again. He sent fun updates, was super responsive, and spoiled our two pups - including a senior boy with medical needs. Plus, our house was absolutely spotless when we got back which was so lovely.

Jessica was amazing! She and her partner were very attentive, sent lots of pictures and updates of our cats, and overall took great care of our home as well. We never had to worry about our cats the entire 2.5 weeks we were gone because we knew they were in great hands with Jessica.

Alex was unbelievably caring, kind, and communicative about our kitty and pup. I'm so grateful that Alex was our sitter during such a busy time and was available and present for our pets. We'll definitely be booking them again in the future. Truly cannot recommend enough! <3 Thank you alex!!!

Sara was so friendly and great with our dogs! We had a meet and greet before the visit, and she made the dogs feel very comfortable. We recieved photos and updates during the visit, and the house and dogs were all in great condition when we got home. :) We would definitely ask Sara to dogsit again and would recommend her to others as well.

This was our first time using Rover and we’re so glad we found Crystal. In the past we always relied on a team of friends to cat-sit while traveled, however this time we were traveling with one set of these friends, and we had just adopted two kittens who would require more attention than usual, thus our usual arrangement was not an option. My partner and I were naturally apprehensive about letting a complete stranger into our home to look after our babies. But reading reviews left by Crystal’s other clients was encouraging, especially when we noticed she had a number of return clients. So after a few in-person meetings, we took the plunge and hired her for a 2-week kitty-sitting gig in our home. Cricket and Jiji took to her right away, and we could tell Crystal had a natural way with cats. Not only did Crystal manage both cats’ specific needs well, she asked great questions and paid attention to important details. Communication with her was super easy and her updates were frequent, informative, and often funny. We could tell from the videos and photos she sent that the kids had adjusted well and that they were having a good time with her — Crystal is also highly skilled when it comes to getting cats to play! — which made it so much easier & less stressful to be away from them for the first time. She went above and beyond when she also had to deal with an unexpected ant invasion in the kitchen and in nearby houseplants that occurred after a rainstorm. I felt bad to add that to her responsibilities but she had such a good attitude about it and took care of the problem without complaint. She also tidied up the apartment before we came home, including washing the bedclothes & shower curtain without having been asked. (She’s just considerate like that) When we came home, the kitties were just how you’d want them to be after a long absence: relaxed and only mildly interested to have us back. 🥲 In conclusion, Crystal is a gem (hah) and you won’t regret booking her! She takes her job very seriously and cares about her charges as though they are her own. We (humans & kitties) are SO grateful we found her and we look forward to booking her repeatedly in the future.
