About: Ive lived with dogs for 20 years and know well their needs and how they act. I dogsit and walk dogs and cats from family and friends. About: I've grown up with big dogs and am now a dog and cat mom. Before my dog I boarded friends' dogs with me, watching them while they were away. My big dog is from the shelter and is fearful, so I have experience with shy shelter dogs, training, and managing their triggers. I also walk others' dogs. My schedule is flexible and is different depending on the day of the week. Communication is key , but I will try to make things work. At clients' homes I will follow their instructions and communicate any questions. I make sure the doors are locked when I leave, and try to be careful entering so animals don't potentially run away. Depending on instructions or pet temperaments, I will observe and work with them for enrichment and socialization needs. I make sure there is enough water in the bowls and feed as needed. For cats, I clean the litterboxes. They will not be in my home since I have pets.

My dog stayed with Alexandra and her two kiddos for 5 days/nights, and I was able to fully enjoy my vacation because of Alexandra's excellent communication. She kept me updated and texted me each day before I had a chance to worry about anything (after all, she was caring for my fur baby!). I felt at ease knowing that my pup was in loving and attentive hands, and I could text any time I felt the need. My dog is super friendly and also has some behavior quirks. She can get overexcited, and Alexandra had no problem following all the care instructions. She noticed my dog's comfort or discomfort and ensured she got what she needed. When I’m with your dog I like to stimulate their mind by bringing treats and toys and have fun with some training (of course with your permission first!). I am currently a self employed dog trainer so I do know how to handle different types of dogs. My main experience is training and I frequently work with service dogs. I have experience with all kinds of temperaments so don’t be shy to let me know if your dog has an anxiety issue or is overly excited. My upmost important priority is making your dog feel as comfortable as possible when he or she is under my care. I can’t wait to meet all these beautiful faces! I am also a student and still new to the bay area. Luckily at the moment my schedule is rather flexible, I can potentially adjust my schedule for your pet on certain occasions! I will follow whatever instructions you give me when I stay over at your home. There will be constant supervision when let outside or on a walk. About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since childhood and deeply love connecting with animals. I supported my last dog through her later years and have sensitivity to the needs of elder puppies.
