About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life, beginning with my childhood growing up on a farm. That early, hands-on exposure taught me the fundamentals of animal care, daily routines, and how to read animal behavior. This transitioned into professional work as a dog trainer at Happy Hound play and daycare in Oakland where I trained and cared for dogs both at the center and on park walks and in home visits. I am able to confidently handle pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels from puppies needing structure and basic obedience to older dogs requiring a gentle, patient approach. I have a background in housing and caring for animals. I currently share my home with my own pet, Baloo and my housemates pet Bentley my living space is always dog-friendly. I know exactly what it takes to create a safe, enriching, and comforting environment for visiting animals. I can give owners peace of mind while they are away! About: I am a dog walker and trainer based in Emeryville. I am currently working towards my CTC to improve my training skills. I have experience training dogs big and small in single and multi dog homes. I use positive reinforcement (usually food) in my training and do not use aversive tools for training. About: I grew up with all kinds of family pets and including adopting my own puppy at 17. Since moving to Oakland I’ve been lucky to live with several cats and dogs of roommates of all dispositions (both the roommates and their pets) and now my fiancée and I have a perfect baby angel cat son. I’m comfortable with puppies over 3 months old and mostly potty trained, I don’t mind mouthy or jumpy pups and am happy to discourage behaviors according to their training. About: I grew up with a golden retriever for 13 years. She was loyal, had so much energy and was full of life. We were inseparable. I took her on a daily walk each day and made sure commands were reviewed. After she went to the other side of the rainbow I was able to take care of my friends dog for the last 2 years whenever she needed him to go out, stay the weekend, or just come in for kisses and hugs. I am always there. I love walking, feeding and cuddles. I love the way dogs crave attention and compassion and that I am able to give them that. I feel very calm when around furry friends and am able to show that around animals I have been with. Thank you for your time! I work remotely so it is easy for me to go on walks and drop ins for your furry friend! There are so many adventures out there! I will make sure to follow all the rules you set out for me and I dedicate my time to your furry one with compassion and love.
