“Angelique was flexible, communicative, and super loving with our dogs. She was willing to come walk/meet the dogs prior and get to know them and our house. Her messages during the trip were informative, reassuring and had pics to make it easy to know our pups were doing well. We’ll definitely be adding her to who we reach out to for future trips. Thank you!”

“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

“Daria stayed in our place with our dog and cat for a week. Unfortunately, our cat became sick during our travel, and she promptly informed us about the situation. She took our cat to the vet, followed instructions about the treatment, and sent us timely updates. She is very caring and went above and beyond attending to our sick cat. Also, she left our house clean and in order. I highly recommend her.”

“Couldn’t recommend Eleanna more! She watched our dog and cat while we were away for a week and was very communicative the whole time. She sent us lots of pictures and made sure they both got lots of exercise and love.”

“Nicole went beyond our hopes! Nicole regularly sent pictures and updates. We could see how happy our guy was. When we came home be was relaxed and not at all stressed from us being away (as he had been after other sitters). Nicole followed all instructions to care for our guy was is a little high maintenance due to back trouble. Nicole discovered his favorite games and even gave him a nice brushing at the end of their time together. We were so pleased and would love to have Nicole come back!”

“Anais took excellent care of our pets and home while we were away for the weekend. Our dog can be a little finicky and needs a lot of company, but Anais was enthusiastic about getting to know his routine and we arrived home to find relaxed animals and the house just like we left it (she even washed her sheets - really not necessary!). Thanks Anais!”

“Dane agreed to dog sit for me at the last minute when my dog was having some health issues and I was worried about leaving him alone. Dane was so positive, friendly, and attentive! I will definitely seek him out in the future with any dog sitting needs.”

About: Animals have always been a passion of mine, and I have over 11 years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I've worked as a veterinary assistant in multiple settings, including a feline-focused practice and a facility that specialized in dog boarding and walking. These experiences taught me how to safely handle animals with different personalities, energy levels, medical needs, and comfort levels. Because of my veterinary background, I'm comfortable recognizing changes in behavior, stress, discomfort, and potential health concerns. I understand the importance of routine, patience, and positive interactions, and I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owner is away. Whether your pet needs an energetic walk, playtime, medication support, extra attention, or simply a calm and reliable companion, I'll treat them with the same love and respect I would my own. My goal is to provide dependable care and give pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands.

About: Hi there! I’m a total people person with a heart that easily extends to pups of all sizes! I’ve been working as an Autism Specialist since I was 19, so patience, intuition, and building strong, trusting connections are truly my superpowers. I like to say I have that special energy humans and dogs both adore! For the past 7 years, I’ve been dog sitting for families in and around my neighborhood, as well as my parents’ neighborhood, caring for their fur babies like they’re my own. I understand how important it is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I live in a spacious 2bedroom apartment with a spare room that gives pups plenty of indoor space to play and relax. Our complex also has lots of grassy areas perfect for fresh air, potty breaks, and nice walks. Whether your dog loves a structured routine, playtime, or cozy cuddle sessions, I’m happy to meet their needs! I’m reliable, communicative, and naturally attentive. and I genuinely get excited to host and care for pups in my home. Your dog’s happiness and well being will always be my priority. I can’t wait to meet your fur baby! 🐶✨ I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, so your pup will have lots of supervision and attention on those days! I’m also available most weekends if you’re planning a little getaway and need reliable care! I care for every dog like they’re my own, keeping them on their normal routine as much as possible. I provide plenty of supervised playtime, structured walks, potty breaks, and cozy rest time in a safe, calm environment. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or prefer quiet cuddles and relaxation.
About: I grew up surrounded by pets and have spent my entire life caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. For over 12 years, friends and family have trusted me as their go-to person for walking, feeding, bathing, and looking after their animals — long before I made it a profession. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, and multi-dog households. Every pet in my care gets photo and video updates throughout the day so you always know your dog is happy, safe, and loved. Caring for pets fits naturally into my routine because I intentionally keep a flexible schedule to provide reliable, attentive care. I also believe in consistency, communication, and treating every pet like they’re my own are what give owners peace of mind while they’re away. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. I respect your home and follow your instructions closely. I provide regular photo and video updates for peace of mind, and I’m experienced with dogs of all temperaments, including anxious, seniors and special needs pets. About: Hi, I’m Sindhu! I’m a recent college graduate with experience looking after both dogs and cats. I currently do not have pets of my own, and love meeting new fur babies. I am deeply attentive and communicative, and will make sure your pet is well cared for and you are thoroughly updated. I have a part-time job that is remote without a fixed schedule, so whatever your need is I can make it work! I am primarily free on weekdays I do not have a home to offer for pet care, and can care for your pet in your home or for dog-walking. In my previous pet-sitting, I have cared for both dogs and cats overnight.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter than Natasha! She spent the week with my cat while I was on vacation, and sent me updates throughout the week which was reassuring. She even cleaned up before leaving, which was wonderful! I highly recommend Natasha :)”

About: I had a dog for 15 years and a cat for 2 years, giving me experience with pets at all stages of life. They are very special and I have a deep passion for caretaking, one that extends to your pets! I can also administer medications if needed. I am a student at UCSF on summer break. I have availability most days—weekdays and weekends, just need a few days notice! I am also a night owl so I can watch your pets well into the evenings! I have a fenced backyard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. I love going on long walks around here solo, and a pet companion would make that even better! For cats, I can also take them on walks (if they’re those types of cats haha) or can just stay inside and play with toys.
About: I have been taking care of my family’s and friends dog/pets for years now due to my love of animals, I made sure they are well fed and taken care of no matter what. Nothing makes me sadder than a suffering animal, so I make sure they are taken care of no matter what! I can usually do it after my classes during the week days but I tend not to want to do weekends since I need the free time to make sure I have everything in my personal life taken care of. I make sure my own dog gets her daily walk in the morning before feeding her then once I get home I take her for a walk again before making dinner for her and myself. And of course playing with her outside in my backyard and letting her lay with me if fireworks goes off since she is deathly afraid of them.
“Christine took perfect care of all 5 of our furbabies! We had her stay at our home with them and not only did she take great care, but respected our home and even cleaned up around the place for us. She provided great updates as well. Five animals is no small feat so I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Tina helped us out with our two dogs for a second time, this time pet sitting in our home. Tina was great, sent us updates, and was generally easy to work with. Would definitely hire Tina again. Thank you Tina!”

About: My preferred first name is Bear. I have 5+ years experience volunteering in rescue shelters with both dogs and cats and I’ve definitely developed a knack for befriending anxious/shy animals. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog bather working with dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience leash training dogs and training a few basic commands. I’ve done a lot of cat sitting as well (in homes with up to 11 indoor cats!). I’m currently in school pursuing a nursing degree. My summer class schedule allows me to go for walks and check ins during mornings and early afternoons. I have done a lot of pet sitting in the pet’s homes. I understand the importance of respecting my clients’ property and I always leave the property in the same condition as when I arrived, if not better. If you are a gamer, I will never mess with your save files (many past clients seem to have this concern lol).

“Alisha is an amazing dog sitter. This was our first time using Rover and a dog sitter who we’ve never met before and could not be more happier. Bo is an older 14 year old dog and has special needs such as wearing a diaper and medication. Alisha was so patient, kind and loving with him. She provided us with pictures and updates throughout the week and graciously cared for his elder needs. The best thing was being greeted by a calm and happy dog.”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Columbia Gardens is $75
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Columbia Gardens
This was the best boarding experience we ever had! Tinwa and JieYing took such good care of 8 year old dog. Our dog has some special needs and they made sure all of his needs were met and gave him all of the attention in the world. We received photos and videos everyday of our dog having a great time. It was so nice to know that he was being loved and cared for rather than just fed and walked. Would 100% rebook again!

Mei was an absolutely amazing pet sitter! She took such wonderful care of my two kitties and treated my home with so much care and respect. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about my cats and made sure they were happy and comfortable. I came home to two relaxed, well-cared-for kitties and a spotless home. I feel so lucky to have found Mei and will absolutely be booking with her again!

Eleanna is the best sitter on Rover. She watched our senior extra large, picky girl (with multiple medications) for a week and made us feel so comfortable with the whole Rover process. We came back to a clean house and a very happy pooch. Eleanna communicated with us everyday and sent a series of photos with each message. The level of care she showed us, our dog, and our home has made us repeat customers! Thank you Eleanna!!

Nicole was fantastic! Xiao is a covid dog and has struggled with socializing. Although she’s in daycare she doesn’t have a lot of 1:1 time with other dogs. Nicole asked if we would be open to Xiao meeting her dog and we loved that! This extra care for Xiao was awesome and we really appreciated it. Thanks Nicole!

Alisha did a wonderful job caring for our two dogs while we were overseas for two weeks. This was our first time hiring a house sitter, and were a bit anxious about leaving our pups (a 9 month old and a 16 year old) with a new person, but Alisha's friendliness and professionalism made us feel comfortable right away. Everything went smoothly, we received regular updates and responses to our communications. When we came home the house was sparkling and the pups were happy! We will definitely be repeat customers!

Leo was awesome with our pets. It was our first time leaving our pup Milo who is a 10 month pit with him along with 2 cats. And he took such good care of them and sent us the best pics (professional photography levels) we felt at so much ease knowing Leo is taking care of them. We trusted Leo completely thanks to his amazing communication and care. We most definitely will be using Leo again for caring for our babies and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for utmost care and love for your pets. Thank you so much Leo. You rock !!
