“Johnatan took care of my dog for 2 weeks. He’d feed her and walk her twice a day. He was always respectful and kept me posted about my dog’s activities. He washed the linens before departing and even gave my dog a quick bath (he forgot the blow-drying part though). As much as I’d like to give him 5 stars, there’s still room for improvement as he forgot to leave the sliding door open for the dog to go outside leading to the dog peeing and popping inside of the house. He sometimes took 8+ hours to get back home and a couple of nights he wasn’t able to return at all and my dog slept alone. The latter due to he working part time at a place located 1 hr away from our home. Overall, a thrustful boy who just needs to get more experience.”

“Nicole was an amazing dog sitter, and I would use her again in a heartbeat. My dachshund is an older guy, and he is both deaf and struggling with dementia, which means that he requires a lot of care and help. Nicole was incredibly accommodating with regard to his needs - organizing her household to make it safe for him, watching him closely when he was around other dogs, etc. Nicole is also very gracious. For example, I found out upon returning from a two week trip that my dog had been waking her up really early. Rather than complaining about that - which would have been totally justified! - she figured out a way to deal with his early morning needs. Communication was wonderful, I received updates and pictures multiple times a day, and when I picked my pooch up, he seemed happy and well adjusted. Thank you so much Nicole!!”

I provide plenty of supervised playtime, structured walks, potty breaks, and cozy rest time in a safe, calm environment. About: I’ve lived with animals my whole life; at both houses we had at least 3 cats and 3 dogs at a time with the occasional hamster, rat, snake, or rabbit. I’ve adopted most of my pets from shelters, and have helped raised two litters (one was kittens, the other was puppies). Having a wide variety of animals introduced me to a wide array of personality types from friendly and cuddly to moody or shy. These experiences have taught me to have an abundance of patience and understanding, and to be able to adapt to individual needs. The animals I’ve watched/raised/trained have been all different breeds and sizes; from a 3 pound chihuahua to a 85 pound German/Pitt mix. I’ve taken care of older dogs, who need extra care, as well as sick dogs and/or dogs with preexisting conditions who require medications once, twice, or three times a day. Not only have I helped with my animals, but I’ve watched other peoples houses/pets as well. I’m pretty much a homebody, so aside from a couple hours each day, I’m available and flexible and can hangout with your pets for as long as you need. I’m a great communicator too, so if an issue were to arise, I will reach out right away because your pet’s health and well-being is my top priority. I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is open and flexible. I do prefer a couple of days of notice in advanced, unless it’s an emergency. I will take care of your pet however you need me to. When it comes your pets health and well-being, I know you know what’s best, and I will never disrespect your wants or needs. If you need me to house sit, I will respect your property. I’m very neat, organized, and clean (slightly OCD) so I would never leave a mess.

About: My preferred first name is Bear. I have 5+ years experience volunteering in rescue shelters with both dogs and cats and I’ve definitely developed a knack for befriending anxious/shy animals. I’ve also worked professionally as a dog bather working with dogs of all ages and sizes. I also have experience leash training dogs and training a few basic commands. I’ve done a lot of cat sitting as well (in homes with up to 11 indoor cats!). I’m currently in school pursuing a nursing degree. My summer class schedule allows me to go for walks and check ins during mornings and early afternoons. I have done a lot of pet sitting in the pet’s homes. I understand the importance of respecting my clients’ property and I always leave the property in the same condition as when I arrived, if not better. He was a fair amount of work given he still had stitches from eye removal surgery on one eye and was on multiple medications to keep him chill and pain free. She administered all his meds and made sure he was comfortable and stress free for his recovery while I was away for the weekend. She was very flexible as well, since I was supposed to go away the weekend before but had to cancel due to his emergency surgery. She was on board to care for him the following weekend instead and worked with me up to the last minute to be sure I felt he was well enough for me to leave at all. Will hire Anais again and again!”
