We have a senior dog with many needs including being carried up/down stairs and on a strict medication schedule, and Daria was very patient, meticulous in administering the medication, kept both dogs on schedule, and sent us photos and updates throughout our trip! We could tell they had been well taken care of and well-loved (and cuddled!) upon our return. The house/ guest space was kept very tidy. It would be an honor to have Daria watch our babies and home again in the future.”

About: Our pets are family. My approach is a balance of attention and simple structure that makes for happy socialization. My partner and I have always had cats and dogs and I have experience with everything from puppyhood to the special healthcare challenges of senior pets (including administration of oral meds and injected insulin) I used to walk dogs back in college as a part-time job. Now, I am excited to make some new 4-legged friends and get out for some exercise together. I work from home part-time and with a very flexible schedule. I do long walks in the morning and afternoon and, if staying with us, in addition to walks, your doggie will have full access to the yard during the day to sunbathe and play. If house sitting at yours, I will be on hand with your pet at a minimum in the morning, for a few hours mid-day, and then all evening and night. We have a large fenced yard and two small, friendly pups (9lb young female yorkie and 12lb female coton de tulear) to play with. "The girls" are not crated at night, but I am happy to set up your pup's normal sleeping area if staying with us. For dog walking, I do 30-45 minute adventures with priority given to clients located in Oakland's Laurel, Dimond, Maxwell Park, and Redwood Heights neighborhoods. Ideally, your dog loves walking with some friends, but we can customize for personal pup needs.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life, and have helped train puppies as young as 8 weeks old to be ready for adult doghood. I have administered deworming medication, washed dogs numerous times, and love making sure pups are living life to the fullest. I also love being active for high-energy dogs and taking them on walks all around Oakland, exploring different trails, parks, and neighborhoods. I’ve taken care of cats and dogs young and old, and show each of them love, care, and patience as if they were my own. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to openly play in, and a large home for both dogs and cats to enjoy during their inside time. I can’t wait to meet your pet! I am typically home all day as I work from home, and have plenty of availability. As I work from home and have flexible hours, I'm available for walks, doggy day care , or boarding all week. I'm flexible with working hours and am happy to accommodate your needs! I live in a house with a fenced-in yard, so your pup can play in the yard as well as hang out inside the home. I love going on walks and hikes all around Oakland and the surrounding neighborhoods and parks, and can provide plenty of play for higher-energy animals.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. I began having pets of my own around 12 years ago. My love all of our animal companions, has grown expeditiously since then. My services include going on walks, feeding, playing, cuddling, bonding, cleaning up after, watering plants, taking out or bringing in recycling/trash, bringing in packages/mail, and over night stays. About: I’ve loved animals my entire life! I’ve always had a pet and they’ve ranged from chickens to spiders. I started pet sitting when I was 16 and am currently working at a dog daycare/boarding place and am a dog handler that will love and care for your pups no matter age or size! :))<3 Apart from being a student (on break) I’m also working part-time at a dog daycare on the weekends so during the week I’m usually free! When pups are in my care it’s my priority to help them feel safe and comfortable at home no matter how tedious or time consuming it will be!<33
